There are always two sides of the story. When British and French went from starting trade with indigeneous to brigning their families and settling towns on their land, they must have had the same feeling. Europeans just didn't stop their they openly slaughtered and put small children in residential schools where many lost lives and are still living with generational trauma. India was doing fine before british came in and lynched the economy to feed industrial revolution in west. I have seen Finnish, croatian, greek, polish, italian, german cultural centers and businesses serving their communities in Canada. Can we also say that they should assimilate in Canadian culture? What is even Canadian culture? It is the "The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms", read that thing and the history if you are not familiar. I do acknowledge that there is massive influx of immigrants in a short span which govt. did to compensate for labor needs but they did not invest in infrastructure and orientation of immigrations. I have worked with Canadians in their 60s vs 20s, there was a huge difference in work ethic. My white manager relied on me and my another friend for closing or opening shift than some local preveliged kids. I am in support of deporting illegals but let's educate who are here legally. Collaborate with communities to voice out your concerns and look at the positive impact immigrants have made in past decades.

There are many Korean, China, and Japanese towns across north America but when Indians move in it's all of a sudden a problem to some people??

As an Indian American, I believe that living amongst themselves is wrong. They should integrate to Canadian society and converse with all others. Keep your culture, but do not be closed to Canadian culture. Take on the best of both, and invite non-Indian friends to celebrate functions.

Imagine once being the country that so many allies and neighbors sought refuge in—only to become this. Damn. I gotta say that I'm not a liberal nor have I been a particular fan of Justin Trudeau... but today (and for the last few weeks) I've been quite impressed by my Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. This Canadian supports a vast and vicious trade war against the United States. I do not have any hatred for the American people but I do have nothing but contempt for Trump and his band of traitorous scum! I wouldn't have dreamed that our closest friend and ally could be siding with an enemy proclaimed (Russia) against democratic nations. Trump represents an existential threat to democracy everywhere and must be put down by the American people like a rabid dog!

No one should live by destroying others, immigrant policy should be regulated properly..this is applicable to all humans

How can you not have an answer? Your communities and country is enhanced through immigration. Just as it was when you and your (most likely) British ancestors arrived there. Ask yourself.... is this about immigration or colour? I think the latter.
