Watching the government I came to believe that they are absolutely unconcerned about the the results of there actions in many regards, but also that many of them are too incompetent to actually do the job. Just look at the current Immigration minister. She is utterly clueless. I wouldn't hire the woman as nanny! Yet, she is a minister, can't answer basic questions and is totally useless.

Before 2015, Canada had virtually zero illegal immigration. Today, by the government’s own data, that number has surged to roughly 500,000. Worse still, official projections show that by the end of 2026, another 2.1 million temporary residents will see their status expire, many at risk of slipping into illegality. This failure of policy has already fueled a growing underground economy across the country. Deporting just 20,000 people a year is a drop in the bucket. *The only credible response* from the Carney government demands decisive action—raising *deportation* numbers to well over 100,000 annually to restore integrity to the system.
Detailed critique of immigration policy using statistics and projections, arguing for increased deportation enforcement as policy solution.

3.6+ million permanent immigrants in ~10 years. Hundreds of thousands facing homelessness. Housing supply failed. Wages failed. Aging still rising. This is not incompetence — it’s prioritization.
