Nothing went to the American people or even to the nation's infrastructure. The American people's taxes funded those profits. The US government destabilized the Venezuelan government, stole that nation's funds which they entrusted to US banks, then placed sanctions on them because they refused to allow a US puppet regime to run their nation. What's happening at the border is blowback from situations created by corrupt and incompetent US politicians. Our worst enemy isn't some foreign nations.
