We can protect our country and have proper immigration policies at the same time that are not lengthy for years. Our government has done nothing but empower human trafficking and coyotes. Put people who are desperate in the situation of leaving their homes giving up what they own and putting their children and themselves in the mercy of traffickers. They should have to be able to support themselves when they come here just like we are required to do. Only refugees should be given assistance.
