1 month, 3 weeks ago Addinsalub Everyone is getting hurt by it. IS suffer as well, since they gambled on coming to Canada thinking they could improve their life conditions in here. Instead, they find a country with no jobs, high living costs and tuition. IS and Canadians are getting ripped off. 0 S-jHPXu0hjM

2 months, 1 week ago amazingamx1255 Its all the rich and powerful that can exploit cheap labour that are in favour of immigration. Most Canadians cant find jobs, most of the average population is struggling, its unfortunate our government for the past decade has only been listening to the needs of the rich 0 S-jHPXu0hjM

2 months, 2 weeks ago CraigAnSi Yeah and we all know who is to blame for this. Justin Trudeau, Sean Frasier and Marc Miller. Funny how politicians in this country aren’t held responsible for the bad decisions they make that seriously affect Canadian lives. Canadians have lost their homes and their jobs because of mass immigration. 0 S-jHPXu0hjM
2 months, 2 weeks ago WorldDataStream Many new immigrants face difficulties in finding a job. They often have to go back to school at their own expense. They hope for job opportunities, only to discover in the end that it is hard to find work that matches their qualifications. This is the reality. Most immigrants end up doing physically demanding jobs, for low pay and often part-time, and this situation can last for years. Eventually, some start thinking about returning to their home country. This is what you need to know as a Canadian immigrant: this is the truth. 1 S-jHPXu0hjM

2 months, 2 weeks ago CristianoRonaldo272 “What we are saying to students abroad is come, and you might be able to stay - but that’s not a guarantee” Am I smoking something or are international students by definition no supposed to be temporary residents here for an education? What entitles them to stay? 0 S-jHPXu0hjM

2 months, 3 weeks ago tonnabrr 3:45 "It's what investors want, its what businesses want, it's what individuals need" as usual, no mention of the young Canadians drowning under massive rent and low entry level opportunities that were born here and don't have an "out" to go to a different country. But oh no think of the poor international students!! Think of the businesses! 0 S-jHPXu0hjM

3 months ago sorooshd7895 All international students are required to provide documents and statement letters in their student visa applications to prove that they intend to return to their home countries after their studies. The only thing that is expected (not guaranteed in any way) is a post-graduation work permit to give them a chance to acquire Canadian work experience and have enough points to apply for permanent residency if they choose to. The government should only be responsible for those who were already selected and approved for residency before changes to the regulations. All future applicants should be evaluated based on the latest changes. That is not new, and all current immigrant citizens had to adapt to the changes to requirements back in their time as well. 0 S-jHPXu0hjM

3 months ago enge.marcelo There is a fundamental error here: if universities are struggling due to lack of students, without government programs, then the university is not economically viable and should close. Otherwise, they are just a government department. 0 S-jHPXu0hjM
