2 years, 3 months ago @Leonardbro_NoCaprio_ Canada has become a disgusting version of what it used to be. I used to be beyond proud to be Canadian. I no longer am. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @Quantum-1157 No , Canada is accepting rampant and unchecked international students from one country in particular! 80% of student visas issued are for India! Greedy politicians and university management currying favour with 1 out of 200 countries on the globe today. The long term consequences for this laxity will be astronomical. 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @aaronpark3987 No, we need more immigrants. But even more housing and less Trudeau! 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @NihonKaikan Back door immigration…absolutely nothing more than that. Who needs to attack or invade a country when the genius prime minister just leaves that back door wide open? Canada isn’t Canada anymore. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @shawntootill24 Probably the first CBS News report I felt told me the truth in years. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @zeinababdi4757 We need to also talk about the hundres of yhousands of Uranians in Canada, who dot speak english but thry are working. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @zeinababdi4757 Why is almost 95% of the international students coming from Asia, especially India? 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @zeinababdi4757 To be honest I an frastrated with Trudeu Government, as a Canadian our jobs have been given to these international students, they are being used as cheap labour by big companies, resulting in Canadians losing their jobs, which is not fair. Housing is so expensive because of the international students. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @Rob-vc6xw I think one solution to the international student housing crisis that can alleviate its effect on the broader housing crisis is to mandate that the school build dorms for international students. Fanshawe College for example has like 2 or 3 dorm buildings, but like 80 percent of its students are international. So if that school or any other wants to bring in that many international students, and charge them 8 X what we pay then make the schools use that money to build dorms for the students. \n\nEither the schools will build th the dorms, and the problem will be alleviated, or the school that don't want to build or purchase student housing will have to stop bringing in more students than they can house. 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @pst8342 International Students? They hardly understand and speak English. What are they studying? I guess these colleges have language interpreters for them in each class. They avoid eye contact and pretend to be mute to avoid any kind of conversation. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @barnold23 Yes. WAYYYYYYY too many. 0 eP02h50KIOA

2 years, 3 months ago @jimmynolet3752 No they lied to the international students than brought in a bunch of immigrants and wiped out all the minimal wage jobs and when the students got here what they were promised wasn't what it was......but that's all ottawa and it's puppet news is these days lies lies lies 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @offBeatRock777 All Canadians now sounding like Trump is truly hilarious? 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @timdeveaux5161 Thank God this is being exposed!! This is a major scam!! 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @kimberlynoels9762 One thing that doesn't get discussed often is that another problem with bringing in so many international students is that the number of places available to Canadian students is lessened. An institution has resources to support only so many students. It strikes me as very problematic that a public institution paid for by Canadians' tax dollars may not be accessible to very competent Canadian students. The argument is sometimes made that international students' grades are higher than Canadian students, and so they merit this position. But the admission grades to some disciplines have become super-inflated. I am not convinced that it is appropriate to accept an international student with a grade of 92 over a Canadian student with a grade of 89. 2 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @Za_Sticky_One A lot of these international students are just here to get a Canadian passport and then they leave Canada for other countries such as the US where they can make more money. 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @missf4681 Ya all those new votes coming across our borders. Im not talking about students 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @Igorryy Just stop those scammy “colleges”. Allow only proper universities to accept international students. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @paakak The one thing not being taken into consideration is that most if not all indian student immigrants are actually working here under the table , they are also sending massive amounts of money back to india ..Canada is losing billions being sent to India taken directly out of our economy .. Here are just some stats \n\nThe largest estimates of remittance outflows from Canada are to China ($4.7 billion) and India ($3.0 billion). The total remittance outflow from Canada (to all countries including developed) is estimated at $27.8 billion in 2018; up from $24.6 billion in 2017. \n\n According to Monito, Canadian residents send around 3.5 billion Canadian dollars annually to India.Apr 18, 2023 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @GinnyRue And when they are here, they go to food banks. Tell me, how is this good? Thanks to our government. 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @vertiian Why was nothing done to stop this? Doesn't matter what they do now, damage is done 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @cbluejay2499 Keep the Canadian poor without a roof, and let the immigrant in we have $$ for you. It was 3000$ by adult and 1500$ each child ( Eukrainian) and..........roof, .......research? 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @halifaxhalifax3200 I remember canada immigration has a certain standard and requirements. There were different immigration program such as family class business class. When it comes to student visa graduates studies were offered on funding and scholarships.recently we can see number of high school graduates to attend community College. Canadian takes grant student loan to start any program in college and universities imagine international students from developing countries where the tuition fee is almost double I don't understand the screening process of students. It has benefited to consultants and has ruin canada reputation. There are number of videos in tiktok and YouTube of people making v blog on leaving canada. I feel sad. Canada is a beautiful country but the greed of money has completely ruin the reputation. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @ManuelaPatzel Not to mention the ones that are told “just go to the local food banks for food” those schools should be stopped to begin with. Everybody knows theses schools don’t care about teaching. Students puppy mills. No housing for local students, but plenty foreign owned buildings for international students. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @novaguy509 We have no housing and not enough doctors. Trudeau’s unrelenting flow of 500,000 immigrants per year is wrecking the country. SLOW DOWN!!!! 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @LPBsnaha An international student was shot dead by police and sadly no one is talking about it. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @darkflamestudios The Media and the government have worked hand in hand to ruin the lives of all Canadians. You are part of the problem CBC. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @novaguy509 Yes. And then they go to protests and fly their countries colors on our soil. 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @prakharmalhotra652 Your politicians have stakes in these diploma mills 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @Demgam I think part of the issue is the type of immigration. We only go for high skilled immigrants who study medicine, law, engineering, etc. It should be expanded to allow more labourers to come and work here to get that housing built. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @ShafikKhan-zq8kn Canada wants to develop its economic by having foreign students and real Estate. They are too lazy to work hard. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @mariaelda6271 Yes! Especially from a particular country!! ? ? 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @crazycommedian 90% of international students are not coming to Canada for studying, and they are not paying disproportionately exorbitant fees for Canadian education or degrees. They know they are paying a hefty amount to buy Canadian citizenship. 789 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @rogersilva6175 Most students apply for visas to attend school in a province, when the visa ends they move to another province and get work visas ???? 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @some1intheworld I wonder how much the CCP agent paid CBC to specifically bring attention to Indian students, rather than the Chinese majority. Clown world! 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @glintrhmj It’s not just students it’s all immigrants just stop for a while and get the country in order to handle this volume 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @AdrianCalgary I've spoken with International students from India. In India, due to extremely high competition, it is nearly impossible to get access to a great university, perhaps thousands are competing for one spot. It's easy for them to apply to a Canadian University or College and then get a Canadian Passport in a few years. Great deal. 2 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @maim9310 Canada is a third world country with scenery. People don't this before they come here. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @waterbottle4782 I am surprised the CBC is allowing comments. 7 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @keithpalmer4547 Schools need to provide housing for international students. Problem solved. 1 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @suzKawasaki Immigrant here. Way too many students brought in, in a short span of time. Exploited by the government, colleges and greedy landlords. The impact on middle class nieghbourhoods has been horrible, so many more cars, 12 people in a house, coming and going at all hours, reckless driving - NOT wanting to integrate or learn English even. The impact on cities is a huge unmeasured burden to the infrastructure: garbage, parking, roadways, demands on healthcare, insurance premiums etc…. What a complete mess Trudeau has done. Criminally incompetent. 2 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @Joni-Day-YT You guys still don't seem to understand the situation here. These students don't come here for education, they come here for PR. Student Visa is just a bypass route for them to get that PR. I know few so called students who cant speak a word in english, how do you expect them to clear their international courses. They are not bright honest students. They are the jobless youth of India, who take loans or sell their lands to come here as students and spoil Canadian markets with cash jobs. My humble submission will be to stop Immigration for 3 years, and stop student visa to India for 5 years. Things will fall in place. 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @SuperAkshaykulkarni So canada wants students money but dont want students?? 0 eP02h50KIOA
2 years, 3 months ago @brianoconner3090 The Liberals used the students as a cash cow to fund their overspending. 0 eP02h50KIOA
