A country has immigration laws. Some abide by them, others enter the country without caring. It would be deportation if the first group were removed from the country. Removing the latter from the country is simply the implementation of applicable law, is as such a duty of the state, and has absolutely nothing to do with deportation. It should be a crime to describe the enforcement of law and order as deportation. |

Nice wording. Illegal migrants actually, who took a risk crossing illegally. Many are criminals with long lists of convictions, and are mostly men. Migrants who came honestly are just fine. Honest refugees with a real case - not just people claiming refugee status for economic opportunity (which should be punishable with jail time) are just fine. Canada should do the same. |

It’s pretty crazy, insane even, that national security has been politicized to the point that one side of the political aisle is willing to let criminals without proper citizenship run rampant on the streets while one side who enforces what is simply a normal, common-sense standard is seen as extreme.
