Canada or US didn’t go to india and say please come. I think Canada should stop taking students through consultants in India. It is in India that people are selling false info and the students are blaming Canadian government. Even India has immigration rules and they are also strict in enforcing. 1 year, 6 months ago @gurashishanand3082 As an Indian immigrant and a former international student, I think its really important to follow the process. Make sure you complete your degree on time and get a work permit before your visa expires(so that you don't have an illegal presence), don't work cash jobs while you're going through your degree and respect the limitation of 20hrs/week. If your student visa expires and your work permit does not get approved, its best to go back. No matter which country is it, its really important to obey the laws. All got min 5 to 6 years stay at canada legally and if their visa period going to complete and they are unable to get the pr then simply return to their native countries instead of deportation order from the Government. There ain't no Oxford or Cambridge level university in Canada. The government knows this. The government found easy influx of money, and looked at international students as cash cows for a long long time. Representatives from public universities go to other countries to invite more students. The whole system was rigged to extract money. Circumstances are such that everybody will blame the students, but none will focus on the root cause. The top bosses have filled their pockets and bought lavish properties in GTA and the States.
