This is going to sound super cruel but in American its just as bad, over the last 8 years over 30 family owned businesses or small restaurants have been taken over and bought out by Indian people in my area alone, the food quality dips, quality in general dips, they're rude, they get mad if THEY mess up at you which is super disrespectful. I come from a Hispanic culture do be respectful to other human beings if you enter another person's country. Your laws no longer apply here and people who are foreign seem to think that is not the case. I hate seeing local grocery stores get bought out because nothing feels the same. I was just forced by my husband to come here in 2010. I never plan to live abroad but I went for the sake of the kids and dont want regret. My husband is mentally ill even before we got married(family took advantage of me when they saw I was an independent widow that time). Upon arriving here, nothing was prepared,no beds no nothing just the social housing and he was already orienting me to get food from food bank and simply convinced me to follow here for the child benefits,free education and healthcare. Let me just mention, the family of my husband is claiming they were rich and prominent in the Philippines. Fast forward....14 years after, he didnt get a house for us....I just ran after him for child support....he didnt finish the divorce process that I ask him to do upon arrival....now, that its time for him to pay tution fee for college, he is mad! He is so desperate that he brainwashed one of his sons to blame me and make me feel like the whole thing is my fault! My son almost killed me last time bec his dad getting sympathy and ranting that he has no money. This is the biggest regret of my life......I believe if my sons are educated and grew up in the Philippines, they are more happy and was able to tap all their talents and intelligence. I am done here! And for people telling me that the money we earn here we dont get in the Philippines....sorry, my peace of mind and dignity has no price tag. I am not materialistic too. Again I never heard of the solution DORMSSSSSS! Canada dont need too many small colleges, just few in strategic areas where everyone will have access. These schools, they can accept international student but!!! They should have capacity to accommodate like having a dorrrmmmmm for the school. Im mad about this bc in SKorea, where I exchage, they have dorms, here in Canada, you have to find it yourself. We also get our food in the cafeteria which is healthier and have mang options. That 2 alone are solutions itself. You have your money, you refrain us from affecting your inflation so much, we are comfortable and safe and can build better community and many new friends while studying here. The rent could also be used by the schools for scholarship to locals than the rent going to the hands of greedy real estate investors. We have our share of creeps in Canada. There was the mo trial massacre of a couple dozen women at the polytechnics University. It happened in December a few decades ago. Some guy opened fire on women just because they were women and he was mad that females got training and he did not. December 6, 1989. Murdered 14 women injured 13. There is a huge backlog on legal applications for a lots of immigrants who applied legally, families torn apart and have long weight. They are already in the USA, there are sanctuary cities, New York was just dumping them off there. We tax payers are flipping the bills for them while so many Canadians are living on the streets. Those who are mad and outrage by this, you can go ahead and sponsor them, that mean you are legally responsible for all their expenses. As Canadians, even when we cross the border we got to have our passport and we go through a lots of scrutiny. Fill out the paperwork and wait to be processed, because right now we are already in crisis with lodging and food. USA is the one who must take care of those who cross their borders.

This is totally unacceptable. As a migrant myself, me and my whole family had to follow rules, submit requirements, tons and tons of paperwork, medical works, and last but not the least, year and years of waiting!! For people to cross boundaries, illegally migrate, then said country where illigal entry was made upon welcome such people is not only infuriating but also shows us (people who did it all by the book and followed rules) that laws can and obviously be discarded. I get it that this is only hald sided version but some of the officers get mad fir no reason s like serious ly they show their anger on customers it happens everywhere may be he had a fight or his mood was not well so like he just shouted at them and lead to this may be lol this is like my explanation anyway this kind of behavior should not be accepted I think he was just mad at them because of his personal reasons

I have read a lot of these replies and they all said that why didn't he learn English language. I myself have asked this question to some of my coworkers and this was there reply that was told to me by another person who understood what they said IT'S FREEDOM OF SPEECH and they got mad cause I laughed and said that is not what that means but yet they all got mad .but after they were told what it really meant was just as confusing as what they have been believing that it ment that they didn't have to learn a new language and now they have all are and have learned English. So my point is that it's not that they don't want to learn the language but they were denied the truth. I am by far taking up for anyone I am just asking for help with the understanding that if they didn't learn English is because they were told that they didn't have to that's all. And if I can learn a new language then why can't anyone else.

Well that just makes me mad. He should have all his money seized to show Canada is serious on this type of fraud. He basically only lost 9% of what we know defrauded the system. What a fucked up situation with these poor people. It's not fair that their country of origin is so fucked up that they risk it all to leave. It's also unfair for them to think they can just make their way to the US or Canada and live there illegally. The world is a big place an there are people from all over who want to leave and come live in the US but they have to do it the right way. My cousin is from Italy and she speaks 5 languages, she was top of her class and she can't get a permanent visa to live in the US. So why is it that if she can't get in with her qualifications, why do people from South and Central America think they can just do what they want and they get mad when they get deported?
