I’m so glad someone made a video about this. I left Canada because of this problem over my Middle East country. It’s literally better here. Canada is a big bubble. It ain’t worth to live in there.

These immigrants have it too good! Wow, a whole four dolllars per prescription. I’m paying more than that in all my co pay and I live below the poverty line! Hell, I have to pay seventeen dollars in co pay for Spiriva just so I can breath and these damn asylum seekers get it for four bucks?! These freeloaders have got to go! Born and raised in Canada. It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

Dont know about canada but we Indians live rent-free in canadians heads. I've never been to canada, nor even thought about that country much in my life up until i started meeting many canadians on the internet who lose it on me for no reason at all. The most hateful people i have met online have been canadians. I have talked to american gr0ypers online on platforms like discord and omegle etc... and they've been more respectful, polite and friendly than so called "liberal" canadians. Some of them i even befriended. This is sad. What a sorry state it would be to live in one of these canadians mind. Filled with hate against one particular peoples. All of this hate that i have received will only make me definitely avoid to visit canada at all costs!

The elephant in the room is the fact that the majority of immigrants come from one country. As someone who proudly escaped Canada I understand the difficulties of adapting and integrating into another culture. It is difficult and it would be far easier if there were just so many Canadians here that none of us have to adapt or learn a new language but could simply live in an insular community of Canadians and transplant our own culture here. When I go back to Canada I see that that is exactly what has happened there.

To be honest this is something all political party’s from across the spectrum agree with in Canada at the moment, we literally have no housing . We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . I’m a farmer who lives in the county but the closest city to where I live is Windsor and for the last 4 ish year the Government was hosting them in Five Hotel's across the city . It got to the point where it was cheaper for the government to BUY the hotels then rent all the rooms , so that’s what they did … No I’m all for helping people but that is kinda pushing it don’t you think ? There are no jobs for them , no homes for them , etc . We have been in a trade war for the last 2 years with the two largest economies in the world and we need to focus our economic power on thous conflicts at the moment and if the world like it or not fighting that is out top priority and everything else comes second .Even with out that fact Our former government overloaded what our ability’s where capable of handling . We have a pretty advanced social care network but these new folks who have never payed a dime into it and are living off of it for years with the government having no real plan on how to deal with it is just to much , with our with out the economic conflict we are currently in . The facts are the facts and we live in reality, anyways you guys all have a good one , cheers .

As a Canada who speaks both French and English and who follows politics quite closely, I have to say that the headline and some of the reporting here is quite misleading. A reduction in immigration has broad support across Canada. I wouldn't say that notion is dividing the country in any significant way. You do have certain industry groups that disagree, but among the population these reductions have broad support. This is a historic change in public opinion in Canada, but it has been driven by the unprecedented increase in immigration under the last term of the Trudeau government. To put this in context, non-permanent residents in Canada numbered around 1.5 million on Q3 2023, but by Q3 2025, that number sat a just over 3 million. The previous government increased immigration targets by 3 or 4 times over what they had been for years, which caused a number of economic issues. Essentially, the volume was simply too high for the economy and society to support. This was unfair to both Canadians and new comers, many of which could not find employment or afford a decent place to live. The changes being suggested are largely bringing Canada back to what the targets were for over a decade before, though a bit lower to account for the sudden surge. Canada remains one of the most pro-immigration countries in the world. However, and this is where I think DW's reporting is misleading, there is a distinction to be made between policies at the federal level and policies at the provincial level. Immigration, per our constitution, is a federal matter, however, Quebec in particular is distinct from other provinces. I don't mean only culturally and linguistically, but also in the powers that have been devolved to it by the federal government. On the question of immigration, Quebec has more powers and more ability to set its immigration targets and programs than any of the other 9 provinces. The particular program discussed here, the Quebec Experience Program (PEQ), is a particular immigration stream that only existed in Quebec. So what is happening with that program cannot be labeled as a whole-of-Canada thing. Where the changes to the PEQ are controversial, unlike the general changes at the federal level, is that people who immigrated under that specific program were promised certain things. There was a multi-year time line to Permanent Residency and then Citizenship. Many of those people have been in Quebec for 5-8 years already. However, the changes made to the program were done in such a way where people who many years into the program, had gotten an education, started a career, had children, ect. are now being told they can't continue and must leave Canada. There are even stories of people who married Canadians, now have children, and the one parent who was under this program now faces the possibility of having to leave Canada and be separated from their family. All through no fault of their own. That is what many people see as unfair, and I agree, however limiting future applications under the program, to bring in less people, that is not controversial. Canada has no responsibility to bring in people who are not already in Canada, but Canada does have some responsibility towards people who uprooted their lives to move to Canada and built new lives here based on promises and representations made to them by the Canadian and Quebecois governments. We should no simply kick those people out of the country.

African is recognized or respected only when he’s white like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel. And yes, cr@ck$rs are mad everywhere bcos the world they thought belonged to them turns out doesn’t at all. They don’t want to work, want to sit in their mom’s basement smoking joint all day, then use their “you know what” privilege to get ahead just because of their skin color and place of birth lands that belonged to other groups which they forcibly stole and developed with unpaid labor & resources, which they also stole from Africa and Indian sub continent. I live in a medium size city in Canada I’m not gonna say the name of it, but it has in between 100,000 and 400,000 people but where I live it seems to be 30% Indian immigrants and I am not racist one bit but it it seems to be more immigrants, then are actual people that lived here before and it just seems to be like the city. As a indian I would just like to say that there are many reasons they are immigrating 1. They want to show off in front of their Indian relatives 2. I’m grew up in Brampton, born here to immigrant parents who came in the 90s. The new generation of immigrants have really created a bad image for Indians here, I will encounter all kinds of racism online or in real life, and the hatred is real. I wish it wasn’t so, but Brampton and for that matter the GTA is not equipped to handle these many people. Then you get the sheer number of illegal rooming houses, fraud, general disrespect for the norms and traditions of Canada from the newer generations of immigrants it just really paints a bad picture of Indian people. I hope things can change and both Indians and Canadians can live together and foster mutual respect for each other, but we are a long ways away

We have a ton of drug crime, gangs now all run by Indians. Alot of street shooting and drive by- never had that before the mass migration started...as soon as we say anything we are targeted as racists. I was fired from a government contract for catching corruption. They litter a ton - never had litter across canada so bad. It is destroying our cities they live like it is a slum when the concentrate in specific neighborhoods. Right now we have about 2 million illegal students who came on a student visa - but stayed after the expiry. Many took over the smaller trucking businesses and fast food franchises - those 2 industries became SO CORRUPT! They don't get car insurance - I know several people who got hit in Alberta - NO COVERAGE and no accountability. 75% of Canadians want them gone!...every industry they get involved in in large numbers gets corrupted and becomes problematic, because it is just part of their culture/way of life.

I think the driving in Canada and the United States has gotten crazy because of the massive amounts of immigrants that are pouring into the countries. I live in a small town in upstate New York and it’s gotten so bad to drive here. It is outrageous. We also have a extremely diverse community. Looks like a Third World country where I live no joke.

Canada is arguably the best place on Earth geographically, but just like every government in the world right now, isn't handing anything appropriately or even objectively being managed in a sensible way. however, you saying "greatest country in the world" instead of "USA" every time, is probably why people think you're racist and mocking other societies. I defended your India poop video because it was clear you weren't saying that all Indians live in filth like people claimed you were. As a legal immigrant who migrated here with a nuclear family only on merit, I believe I earn the privilege to voice my thoughts here. First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. They have spread throughout All the Provinces of Canada!!! I live in N.B and half the businesses here are Indian(India) owned now . Over the past 12-14yrs, the amount of people from Foreign countries around this county and just a cpl more surrounding us has went up 20 fold! The thing that never seems to be brought up is East Indians 80% own houses. They come here and they own houses and have businesses that they ONLY hire East Indians, have East Indian clientele ONLY because they all pay cash so they can circumvent the taxes. I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. I live in brampton, and it is actually wild. Every single business has been bought and turned indian. Go to Walmart, im.the only white guy. I have nothing against indian. I would feel the same if it was any race , including white people. There should be diversity it should just be equal. They let way to many people into canada way to easy

What is the national Canadian language? English. Can you speak Punjabi or Hindi? Can you even speak more than 15 words of it? Probably not. I can't, and i shouldn't need to. In Canada the language is always an always has been English or French. Yet all the signs i see you put up in your businesses are written in Hindi or Punjabi. I have never seen a Indian owned business with English signs. Do you expect me to just learn your language to accustom you to living in my country? I'm not doing that, and I'm sure nobody else will want to either. If you come here, you need to get yourself adjusted to how we live and learn our language. You're not in India anymore, You're in Canada. I'm not angry at Indians for doing this, I'm angry at Canadians for allowing this.

I live in canada and in my apartment building a bunch of Indians live there and what they do is literally throw their own trash out of the balcony ruining the grass, everywhere you look there will be trash, it gotten so bad the owner of the building put a note on all floors saying if you litter or don’t throw out your trash your being recorded and will get fined.

I live in Toronto Scarborough area and my problem with Indian people isn’t the colour of their skin it’s the way they act it’s obviously not all of them but I see just about everyday with my own eyes how these people come to this country and treat/act in it everything from when a fire truck goes by with the lights on they don’t pull over just keep driving I see them constantly park in the handicap parking spot at the td bank up the street the houses on my street that are dirty with garbage are the Indian houses there are so many things I see on the daily they come to this country and either don’t care to learn the laws rules ect or they do learn them and don’t care like it’s absolutely ridiculous the USA and Canada have been ruined by foreigners and thats just the truth thats not me being mean salty racist or anything else negative im just speaking the truth a large percentage of foreigners don’t care about the citizens in whatever country they go to we are minorities in our own countries it’s a disgusting world we are living in

It's worse than this video shows. I don't live in Brampton and my town is entirely * after 10 years. Everywhere I go is * people. It doesn't matter what store or business or service I contact it's just * people now. When I went to college everyone was from there. This was a regular local college that Canadian kids aspire to go to. They made up 90% of the classmates, they never showed up to class, they refused to participate in team projects, nobody failed. They did so poorly but the school charges 3x. My final year they cancelled final exams because they decided too many international students would fail. They are from the same country but they have different religions and from different cities that hate each other so they would refuse to communicate with each other. Imagine you meet someone from another province and you hate them and aren't afraid to crashout in public over it. My next door neighbors there is so many people living in the house that they live there on a schedule one group in and one group out. You would think they would be going to work NO they literally hang out all day long like a bad 90s comedy movie. In the last 10 years all of the house in my town skyrocketed in price. The people around me all bought around 2010 - 2015 for $150k - $260k and sold for around $1m 2023 - 2026. Average house price in my town has stayed at 3x what it was 10 - 15 years ago. They don't rake their leaves, they don't clean up their trash, they don't clear their snow from their driveways. Both my parents are immigrants, they came here poor had to work, had to respect the country and its laws and culture because that's what allowed Canada to be successful so they could come here. All I hear about or see now is immigrants from the one country? When I was a kid I grew up with every nationality where did everybody go?

Tbh its alot more saturated than you would think, I live in B.C and do alot of uber deliveries, 2400 alone last year. Id say 70% of the people in houses, and some really nice houses are Indian. Also most fast food restaurants are run by indian managers and staff, I was in a KFC the other day that had 1 younger white male at the counter, and 5 punjab behind the counter. The workers were all yelling at eachother about orders in their language and the white guy looked so confused. English is the first language in Canada so it should be learned especially when it comes to a business context, does our government care tho? Nope.

Canada accepts a lot of immigrants more then the US but if the US had a less strict immigration policy it would probably look very similar. What we as Canadians should be focused on why you need 10+ years of experience to work a minimum wage job (And it isn't Indian immigrants fault but greedy corporations)

Indians are generally good people some might have issues but hey no one ain't perfect. Now the issue is I prefer migrants to assimilate e.g. I am a japanese migrant in canada so I decided to do things to be canadian speak English, Go skiing and live like everyone else Not building my own japan town or whatever. Also the second issue is Mass migration because these people once they come they start promoting it back home so more people come so it pretty much a point of no return. Also using the canada for a stop over for usa is very weird reason but don't do that that just sets a bad example to your people

Most of this issue is caused by north Indians who find it hard to assimilate especially the Sikhs. And the issue was caused by the canadian government who prioritized quantity over quality. As an indian immigrant there are times I feel disgusted by their behavior. Due to this behavior the nicer Indians who hold up canadian values are getting the same discrimination. Me myself is a catholic indian who had to leave the country because of the religious bullshit caused by north Indians. We were not even allowed to have a peaceful Christmas in India. As I moved to Canada I faced more racism from north Indians as I eat beef and pork and dont speak hindi. It breaks my heart everytime when I get discriminated from people thinking that i am a punjabi. I just want to live a normal life and follow my faith. Its sad that they dont let us live peacefully in india and in Canada.

You should have also inquired about the jobs here too. The stupid liberal government also makes it harder for us Canadians to get jobs. Hell, they buy up all the affordable housing, drive up prices. Turn great communities into shitholes. I didn't even know they had those big statues hanging around the city. I don't ever venture into Brampton anymore, as I don't do service calls or work as a mechanic. I basically got told, without being told they wanted a more diverse field of technicians. Over 12 years of work trying to get my mechanics license and I'm out. Guys can't even diagnose a ground on a vehicle, yet they can get the Red Seal license cause the "translator" gave them all the answers on the test. Lots of them coming over on student visas just to drop out or not go to school completely and take up basic minimum wage jobs from the actual tax payers of our Great? nation. The truck driving is also insane up north, past Thunder Bay. Trucks in ditches every 30-50 km's. Wheels coming off of trucks, turning around on the 2 lane highway in the middle of no where and gets the truck stuck cause they wanted to do a U-turn at 3am on blind corners. We driving our 3/4 ton work trucks have to pass our exits all the time cause they have their feet on the dash tailgating you. 90% of the ones that have come over, have made Canada a worse place to work/live.

If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. I live here , no mention of the violence between the Sikh and Hindu groups (even parking lot riots) and the religious stuff put in the creeks and the Credit river and rooming houses generally do not allow cooking so trash from takeout every where they eat while walking home and throw it beside the sidewalks and in 30 minutes I could drive you by dozens of food trucks near bus stops and now the highest car insurance in Canada I have Indian friends and neighbors who complain about it

I live in Toronto and it is full of Indian students. They are everywhere, every business, gas stations, grocery stores, dollar stores, all basic jobs you find indians. They can get visas for their spouses, their parents so easily. How is it so easy for them to get into Canada. Some can hardly speak English. Its hard to even get a basic job.
