And for the people saying "Indians are so proud of India but they don't want to live there", I mean people making this kinda comment can't even wrap their head around the fact that 1.5 B people are from India. So even a small fraction of that population would contribute towards a large migration, so no "Indians are so proud of India but they don't want to live there" is absolute bullshit. Now does that mean its a perfect country? Absolute Not and Neither is the country Developed, we are a developing economy and we have a long way to go. We have our own issue in this country and we are dealing with it. As for as people living in your countries are concerned, I would ask you to be as objective as possible in situation rather than being stereotypical. If you see a person doing bad thing, call them out, it doesnt matter whether they are "Indian" or otherwise.

Most of this issue is caused by north Indians who find it hard to assimilate especially the Sikhs. And the issue was caused by the canadian government who prioritized quantity over quality. As an indian immigrant there are times I feel disgusted by their behavior. Due to this behavior the nicer Indians who hold up canadian values are getting the same discrimination. Me myself is a catholic indian who had to leave the country because of the religious bullshit caused by north Indians. We were not even allowed to have a peaceful Christmas in India. As I moved to Canada I faced more racism from north Indians as I eat beef and pork and dont speak hindi. It breaks my heart everytime when I get discriminated from people thinking that i am a punjabi. I just want to live a normal life and follow my faith. Its sad that they dont let us live peacefully in india and in Canada.

30 + years in this city and i have seen the changes. I dont want to single out students but they are the main reason for it. Fake car insurances and expensive cars they cant afford. Results in my insurance being higher by default. Many students coming here and not studying but getting on trucks as soon as they get their license makes brampton one of if not the most city with trucking companies . Sheridan college with its low standards dooms the city. Multiculturalism is good but when people ruin that for others for their own cash grab methods makes this city extremely expensive to live in.

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. If these were French people like my heritage is, I would be even more pissed because I could say something without being called a racist. These immigrants are coming here with one goal retribution against the English Empire for the past or some shit, I dont know, and they're taking it out on us Canadians. over 5 years I've collected proof so I feel very safe coming out now and talking about this because I have everything to back it up. Those single homes I was talking about half of them burned down and they use insurance fraud money add multiple loopholes to use government money along the way as well, that's damn taxpayer money building parts of these homes... I'm a concrete worker they do not let these walls set properly, they don't seal the windows and doors properly, everything's going to leak but because they only rent to people from their home country after 3 years they can take their name off the property and nobody and I mean nobody is going to report leaks because they have a tyrannical control over who they rent to.... I dont even need to name the group because its OBVIOUS, living in the same city most ky life I've seen a drastic change, and this isnt intregation like my family did as they we're the members of french part of the metis tribe long ago. 5 years in a row they have added an average of 70,000 people legally to the city I live in I live in of 1.4 million people that is absolutely absurd the train system is packed all the way until 1:00 a.m.... it's just simple economics you can't add that many people and have a sustainable City.... these idiots never played sim city or some shit Also there are millions that came pretending to get spots in our universities and didn't show up, and these are the same people that are buying up all the businesses and houses and only letting the people from their own country be involved that is not integration....... There's also a huge problem with people faking Refugee status from this very place and there's even a few videos circulating online on just how to do it people from this country bragging how their making double of the average income of a Canadian a year PLUS free food and board from this fake Refugee status, HOLY FUCK! As a Canadian, I am more afraid of the people than their healthcare system. And I am chronically ill and would be homeless in America. Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Im fairly certain its a good demonstration of what a different culture would experience in their own country. But once given those opportunities and a chance to decide for themselves, a lot of these people use their liberties to create exclusion and hostility toward out groups. The indians do this in a very overt in your face way, the chinese are more polite about it but both have this way of looking out for their own and not being concerned with anyone else. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. I am Indian living in Canada and I hate a lot of what these new comers from India are doing. They are exploiting immigration system, tax system and everything they can without any bit of shame. These days most crime comes from only one state in India. Most Indians dont even want to live in Brampton or Surrey, I definitely dont want to live there !!!

I am a Documented Legal Alien and married to an American citizen. I choose at this time to not apply for my citizenship as i dont want to have to apply to my own country of birth to enter again should i need to visit relatives there. However i have lived happily now for 20 years in the USA and have never looked back. We did our immigration LEGALLY and as much as i dislike D Trump. I do agree that undocumented Aliens who live here and married to an American' should not be here. We have the same issue in the United Kingdom and its far harder to deal with there, and there is an Ocean surrounding it. If you want to live here, learn the language, (English, even though America has no definitive chosen language) become a legal Immigrant and most of all contribute to America, its people etc and stop using it for your own selfish gains.

Look, I'm a white Canadian, and I don't hate Indians at all. However, lately, there are far too many Indians arriving here. I live in a small town, and the vast majority of the workers in all our franchise restaurants, Walmart, hotels, etc, are Indian. Yes, some Indians really have been pooping on the beach. I've seen videos posted by Indians about Indians pooping on beaches in places like Goa. No, not all Indians do that, but it doesn't reflect well on Indians. My next-door neighbours are Indian immigrants, and stereotypically, they own a pizza franchise lol. Their children play at our house with our daughter almost every day. On a negative note, they only hire other Indians to work in their store. In general, the indians that are in Canada do need to work on their cultural integration. My neighbours brought their parents over, and they aren't even trying to learn English. I don't want Canada to become like India. Also, I dont think that most Indian immigrants really want that either, but if we keep flooding Canada with Indians, that will eventually happen.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. I live in Scotland for last 5 years, moved here because I was tired of India. Its corruption, polarized politics, and also how people behave. I have been welcomed by the Scots here, treated with respect and made many Scottish friends and know families who are some of the kindest warm people you will meet. \nI also know lots of Indians who are well behaved and good residents of Scotland. But sometimes I see Indians who simply take advantage of the Scottish hospitality. These Indian abuse the honor system to the point that it has become less prevalent. I once seen some north Indian guy singing vulgar Bhojpuri songs to a white girl when on the sidewalk in a manner that can be called eve testing, that made my blood boil. I absolutely hate it and avoid some Indians unless I personally know them. Being and Indian I dont want to be associated with Indians abroad because these 1-2% Indians have given the rest of us a bad name.

Toronto born and raised and a 4th generation Canadian, I loved Toronto so much! As a boy, I was lucky enough to live in a large house at Yonge and St. Clair. Early on we didnt even have to lock the doors or lock up our bikes. We had Beckers corner stores and played tag and baseball down on Summerhill Ave. Fast forward several decades and I have been living in small town USA. By no means is this country even close to perfect but the town I live in is safe, clean and not nearly as populated as Toronto. I am heading back there for a visit and look forward to having my mind blown at the volume of humans that I will see there. I loved the diversity and the amazing food but the housing shortage and ridiculous prices for rent/housing make it next to impossible for even an income earner of my stature want to go back. I cant afford to buy a house there and I make pretty good money. I will love to visit and it is where I am from but I dont see myself moving back there. That makes me sad. Thank you for the video!

its nothing to do with racism they are coming here and changing everything. theres literally nowhere to rent in my city anymore that you dont have to share a room with 2-4 other brown people just because they all want cheap rent they dont care about personal space. every posting for rentable places is owned by indians now when only 5 years ago i could rent a full house now i can only rent a shared room with 3 indian guys. makes no sense how they can come here with their money and buy everything without the first citizens able to get first pick. the liberals are trying to bring india here just in time when they have to give back everything to the native people. they will try to get the original people to leave and then once enough people are gone they will just genocide the immagrants and have an entire country to themselves. they have already started building the walls in secret youll see soon there will be programs made to help grow other countries economy by offering whole packages to live other countries.

We came to Canada 5 years ago, through Student Visa ( Masters) , wanted my kids to learn english too, the pandemic hit and borders closed. Plan was return. During pandemic we had to change our visa and got the PR and got good jobs,. Met great people and decided to stay because is nice for my children. What I have to say is: there is wayyy too many Indians, we didnt want to do any school work with them, we dont want to work with them, we dont want to live in their neighborhood. ( its weird to admit it), at this point, we dont want to go to Walmart, is just their irresponsible attitude everywhere , also descendents of India (2 and 3 generarion) that I met are shocked and upset with soo many and the elementary schools are packed full portables. There is no balance. Their culture will dominate in 100 years from now. This is how immigration works. The outcomes will be seen later and will change Canadian Culture forever.

A large population of White Canadians sold their homes to Indians and moved north especially to Orangeville and many sourrounding cities as well. Brampton is what it is because people dont want to live among different people. Whites saw Indian coming in and left and Indians desired to live among their own kind. even canadian medical system is getting worse and worse. \nwalk in clinic doctors dont wanna see patients \nI visited 3 different walk in clinics and they all said no\nWhen i visited Toronto one homeless guy tried to hit me, boyfriend and our friend. \nthe homelss guy told us to leave his park so we did and 5 mins later the same homeless guy was hitting one of the bikers in the driving lane. I've got a Canadian PR and went to see the country in October. As IT professional I find it hard to get a job, earnings- expenses ratio is not really favorable. So I stay in Armenia and work for Russian companies. Salaries are booming and hrs are looking for candidates. \nNot to say about tech stack that is more adavanced in general\n\nCanada muat do something with its system. I dont want to live without free access to medical services, I dont wanna beg some company to hire me to a lower position and pay crazy rent.

I have lived in canada my whole life. \nHere are the main hurdles:\n1. Cost of realestate and cost of living. You need white collar wages just to be able to rent, not buy, rent an apartment in most major cities. Cost of homes is insane as well.\n2. Jobs often pay low wages below what is needed to afford to live unless its white collar or trades working overtime hours. The jobs that do pay well often get hundreds of applications making your chances lower.\n3. Dentists cost an arm and a leg. The cost of it is insane unless you have a really good coverage plan from your job. \n4. Healthcare moves at a snails pace. Not good if you have a serious illness or disease.\n5. The climate overall sucks. Its not cold. Its ridiculously cold.\n\nMy advice: Be made of money. \nSeriously though, have a huge savings and have a long term financial plan. Getting jobs that pay a living wage here as newcomers here are HARD to get because they always want Canadian work experience. University education from other countries other than the US, UK, or Australia don't count here. Be prepared to live very humbly unless you are just made of money.\n\nI dont even want to live in canada anymore. I am almost 40 and have very little to show for it despite working full time jobs with overtime my whole life. Looking at going almost anywhere but here. The housing crisis and cost of living are the dealbreakers for me. You shouldnt need to be making $75k/year just to afford to RENT a decent apartment. Theres something wrong here.

Like me, I already want to move back. Canada was overglamorized. I think I'm just gonna finish my post grad work permit and move back home. At least there, housing is still within my reach. It's rare people doesn't own homes. You can grow food in your backyard. Can live without debt in any way if you choose as we dont rely in mortgages and credit cards or credit scores.\n\nCanada is good in pictures, but not totally in real life. And what I realized is every country has issue in corruption, government, capitalism etc. There's no perfect country, might as well, just have an almost perfect life with loved ones.

I cant live under Sharia law. I dont want my daughters to wear a Burkha and get indoctrinated...?
