Why can’t. I get some help , to getting a job , , I’m a Canadian. Citizen.

I can’t find no damn job. But it’s fine I’m gonna have to go the entrepreneur route. If I don’t then my future children will be doomed. Why tf is there no diversity at Tim Hortons and Walmart? Fuck you Trudeau. He only became prime minister bcs of his father’s good reputation, and bcs women were mesmerized by his good looks. I’m a CANADIAN CITIZEN and I can’t find no work in this damn country. Trump should prob come here and fix things. Everyone should have an equal chance of getting a job. Diversity and inclusion is important. I don’t expect immigrants to assimilate to Canadian culture but have some respect. Don’t be acting like you run things bcs NOBODY RUNS THINGS. I get that some immigrants come here and work hard to own a Canadian/american franchise or to become a manager, but don’t be hiring your ethnic group alone. The workplace should display a representation of various groups of people. If you can’t simply do that then please ONLY stick to only owning whatever food restaurants that serves food from whatever country you came from.

Exactly they come here they pull the scoop card some are cool but others are ignorant they want to turn Canada into ther country you want to live here act like you do these people work in every fast food joint ther is cause the owners can pay them minimum wage and they don’t cry about it most don’t act like ther in Canada they should adapt our culture not Thers dress like us young people have no we’re to find a job I see cars with punjab on them all over the place how about a Canada flag and some of our clothes I have my room me and my dog I can’t afford to live and cpp cuts me I’m in the lowest bracket ther is so this month I might be homeless they come here get everything I’m 67and I don’t have a pot to piss in o have medical problems and shouldn’t work but I’ve thought of going back to work the cost of living they take m PPP net from me cause they don’t care about us old people I need 7 cases of insure ninth cause I’ve lost to much Weight and now they want a hundred dollar bill for my drug plan a deductable I don’t get it also I’ll be homeless in sept 16 living in a room I won’t be able to find a room I m not a punjab put a Canadian flag on no car not punjab they come here to go to scool work 2 or 3 jobs to bring the rest of ther people here it’s a fact if you want to live here dress and t talk like us why did u leave if you want that culture leave it were you came from exactly leave it at the door

A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

Thank you for summarizing these key changes! Many problems are actually the Canadian immigration system not learning from the mistakes of the US system and now it’s suffering the same consequences. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. If only there was a way for the system to allow people who really care about Canada to get a shot at being part of this beautiful country.\n\nThank you for making these videos.

And also, how international students can’t find accommodation and, indeed, with rents being affordable. One young woman, seethes telling is that she is “ashamed and discussed” about the plights of (as it is demonstrated by the video) are all black Africans. \n \nWell, what a total insanity it is that, we have this mid-20-year-old bleeding-heart demanding that more be done to help refugees when her fellow-Canadians are dispossessed in their own country. So, I wonder how many of these African refugees she has arranged to stay at her own, of some of her relatives’ abodes. \n \nBut, considering there would EASILY be 2 billion featureless bipeds traipsing the planet residing in the Third World who reside in dire economic, and sociological quagmires, and would UPROOT themselves in a moment to go a western country to get free housing and welfare means it wouldn’t take long to transform these places they lob in, to be turned into Third World shitholes. \n \nIn Britain (overwhelmingly England) over 80 percent of robberies, and knife crimes are carried out by black African youths who are mainly the offspring of asylum seekers from Africa. In France, Africa youths are also a huge part of their social problems. And it’s all manifestly due to the fact that, Africans are overtly devoid of the capacity to study really hard – like Chinese or Indians – to improve their lots. Hence, they are (as the fellow in the reddish colour shirt bemoans) looking for handouts. \n \nAs for international students: they (and not just in Canada) are a major reason why there is a housing crisis and, moreover, why rents are excessive. International students in Canada, Australia, Holland and NZ, are in plague proportions and are a HUGE problem: well, except for the people running education institutions, and employers who exploit them for low wages.

I have some questions:\n\n1. Why is this video only showing African immigration when they represent the smaller immigration group. This is disingenuous. Why don’t you show the real immigration stats. \n\n2. The gentleman that spoke about his suffering and not having a stable place, living in his car etc, what is the reason? Why can’t he find employment or can he find employment but it’s not enough to pay for rent? \n\n3. Using the same man as an example, why is he Canadian born suffering (assuming no drugs or mental illness) but there are people who come on student visas, get a job, a house and then bring their 90 yrs old grandma over. Put a $1m insurance policy one her head and then buy an esso.\n\nCanadian is becoming very costly. I am experiencing this too, but while watching this documentary I got the impression it was solely to exploit an narrative. It would be better to make a documentary showing people working, blah blah and still having to go to the food bank because of the rising cost. That’s a real system problem\n\nMy heart goes out to those currently struggling with any drug or mental issues. I wish for a solution that will save lives and rehabilitate

Okay I have seen some non-sense in the comments section and I think Indian government should stop Indian students going to Canadian universities thereby fuelling their toothless economy by billions of dollars every year. Why can’t Trudeau take a simple stand against granting visa to Indian students if they think they are a major player in this world. The truth is, Indian education is growing and it’s good enough but at this point, most students who go there don’t know why they are going. The people who get caught in such problems are desperate people who are largely lured by a foreign and an exotic life. Looking at the Canadian housing crisis and other practical domestic difficulties, India is a much better nation. Some illiterates here are talking about literacy rates when we are running major tech corporations across the world.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. Why?…let’s see. Taxed like there’s no tomorrow for less and less services, infrastructures crumbling, if you want to get some service from municipal, provincial or federal employees you have to go through hoops of red tape, high costs on everything because there is lack of competition ( airlines, cell phones, internet…), every time there is a project for building something it ends up costing more at the end, people not working getting money for free from the very generous pm just before the elections, a Quebec government that imposes idiotic language laws when there are more urgent things to take care of (for example,how about taking care of those families that can’t afford breakfast for their kids before they go to school)…I could go on, but it’s pretty useless because all the incompetents that are in charge probably can’t read. They lack pride and they don’t care. So yeah, there’s a few reasons to leave Canada..

Because Mexico sucks !!! I don’t blame them .. I’d rather die trying then live in poverty and crime .. unless your working on USA side and take money to Mexico or your a drug dealer .. life ain’t great .. that’s why girls are getting married at 12-13 years old so some old guy can take care of them.. that’s if you don’t die or get robbed trying to get an education that you pay for … but can’t afford if your poor..

Such a slap in the face to homeless people who were born, worked in, and lived in America all their life. Where is their “free ticket” to housing and resources? America makes it hard for their own; especially Blacks, to survive. Always some kind of impossible agreement they want you to agree with to obtain help. As a Black American, homeless and disabled; worked low wage jobs here in America over 30 years; was blocked from receiving my full lump sum disability because they knew it would have been enough to buy myself a home; Have been homeless over a year now and can’t agree to America’s rules for fair housing because their rules aren’t fair for Black Americans altogether. America have set Blacks against Blacks; put them in positions to turn other Blacks away from houses and resources; but all they care about is their job. They know their job requires the impossible for many Blacks to agree to, but they easily and intentionally overlook it. How can I agree to volunteer or work if I’m disabled? I applied for disability because I can no longer work. And…It took forever for me to get that. My long, steady work history will prove that I’m not lazy which is used as their excuse for not helping Blacks. America will bend over backwards to help foreigners while we sleep on the streets. That’s the reason why they went out on a limb to employ people from different countries. They called it diversity when they clearly knew it was racism. They had rather employed foreigners to keep Blacks from progressing. America is reaping its seeds right now. Say good bye to America because it’s about to become a new foreign country to all Americans. You reap the seeds you sow. You must be fair to your own first, but you disclaim your own. ❤ And by the way;…..Reparations to Black Americans may be a good start in the eyesight of God who have watched how you treated us for so very long. Nobody in America should be homeless regardless. When God says enough; wickedness and injustices must stop. Not tomorrow but right now! In the name of Jesus; Blacks shall receive reparations so they may live safe and peaceful lives in measures of ours and our ancestors works. Not once have i lived off the government. I work my girl works. We’re having a kid. And things are getting really tight. Inflation is kicking our butts bills increased pay is the same. Were not married yet. We decided to try to seek some government help for at least food right. Shit is tough rn so if we can at least get some food we’ll be fine. We can’t get it technically my girl makes too much money. Why is that even a thing? You’re telling us no because we have too much money? Well we also have alot of bills. Regardless if we’re “middle class” that shit dont feel like it. Im broke af. I got 150 in the bank last me till the 15th. I deserve no help because i choose to help myself? That makes no sense. Yet you got ppl not trying to do a thing for themselves living off of us. Thats insane.

We can’t find housing cause a estimated 50,000 people A WEEK MAKE IT OVER THE SOUTHERN BORDER ! That’s the ones that actually get threw … take some basic math folks - \n\n50,000 a week x 52 weeks = 2.6 MILLION people a year coming across … okay so what ? \n\nPhoenix Arizona couple years ago was the 6th largest city In the USA WITH 1.65 million population … DO THE MATH… JUST SAY FOR A EXAMPLE THEY ALL STAY IN PHOENIX. PHOENIX WOULF WOULD TRIPLE ALMOST IN SIZE EVEDY YEAR … \n\nWe can’t afford housing now ! Why? There isn’t enough houses or apartments available so supply and demand. Demand skyrockets and so does price - what do you think happens when we triple our population in a year ? Rent WILL BE MORE THEN NEW YORK… and that doesn’t even touch the traffic as our roads and freeways weren’t built to sustain 4 million people, AND THE WORST OF ALL… our water … we’re all ready having to do severe cut backs cause we’re draining the Colorado river and lake mead and lake Powell … we would kill our natural resources within years …\n\nAnd sorry to say but that many immigrants that fast - in one year . Mexicans would be the dominant population no question by double … they don’t have insurance, speak English , there culture is drastically different … just look at what small amounts can do to certain areas … I know I don’t want my houses in my neighborhoods painted yellow, pink, and merrachi music blasting till 3 am from every neighbor - I say that cause it literally just happened to me as I had to sell my house cause several houses were bought up around me and swathes of them moved in and the entire neighborhood did a 180 real fast… and who do you think pays for every single one of them and there food cards , health insurance , there WIC baby money , there school, there housing .. The CBC is a huge issue in Canada. It’s funded ENTIRELY with tax dollars therefore the government decides what we watch, even if no one wants to watch it at all, and the CBC is 100% in love with the Liberal government and all of their news is blatant propaganda. Why not? The Liberals increased the CBC budget to 1.6 Billion a year of course they want to spin the news to help them especially when you consider the fact that many Conservatives want it defunded completely because they are tired of the spin. \nAnother issue is that some areas of Canada make the decisions for the rest of the country. Ontario and Quebec have large populations therefore when it comes to federal elections they basically always get their way even if everyone in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba disagrees. \nAlso, Quebec gets treated completely differently than the rest of the country. They have special deals when it comes to university tuition and child care, they have their own political party that no one else can vote for, and they force the rest of the country to have French all over the place and on everything which is mostly pointless and very few people in Canada can only speak French and can’t understand the English. The amount of crappy, unwatchable French TV/radio shows we outside Quebec have to pay for with tax dollars is beyond ridiculous.\nI know this comment will get hate especially since I mentioned Quebec which is a touchy subject.

Why not make the current (obviously vocally dissatisfied lol -read those comments!) people like you Instead of inviting people who’d merely be a guaranteed vote of the your party doing the door opening. \nOr how about training and inspiring good ethics in workmanship to the trades people I’ve come to live with, no one cares to make quality these days, everyone is just bare minimums and using it to make a buck, i weld for a living, and actually care about the work that I produce. And I believe get compensated quite well however… how is it that for someone -at the top of their field in your so desired “skilled” trades- position, can’t afford anything but your cheaply made “affordable” housing that (for someone like me) have a requirement for some garage space, not just s cookie cutter condo with a driveway… you’re taking all the possible space from current homeowners whom have desirable properties from the up and comers in the market. \n\n( Economic growth is just political pocket lining)

All Canada not only Vancouver it’s very isolated.\nPeople can’t afford to buy a house because the house marketing is 3 times the price compared to USA. The houses have shitty materials compared to my original country, and you simply can’t built by your own and that’s why every price rises.\nAnother issue you didn’t mention it’s there is no scholarships, it’s incredible expensive to get a proper education like university, and even so, they no offered scholarships. In Mexico almost everyone can reach the opportunity to study to be anything (lawyers, doctors) AND there is why you can get professional services everywhere. Here in Canada the business never have profesional services (like a real Human Resources, who studies for 5 years to be the best influence in a company, or a real engineering taking care of the machines in a plant. Canada only hire the cheap hand to avoid paying and I can understand it, but if more people could study more money moves in the country.\nAnother issue is there is not any public transportation into the cities or provinces, so if you don’t have a car, a driver license (it’s not easy to get one) and pay the super expensive insurance (it’s incredible 10 times more expensive than in Mexico) your can’t move from the place you are. Because of the weather you simply can’t move in a bike.\nPeople live just for pay rent, buy some groceries and buy some pre owned cloths in the thrift store.\nAnother problem it’s many rules to open a small bussines (like selling some food) \nHealth care it’s not exactly free: you need to pay for your prescriptions out of the hospital or if you never been hospitalized. And it’s very expensive to pay for them. You have to wait (to be true emergencies are different, they are good on that) you have to wait like 12-24 months to get an appointment with a specialist (gynecologist, etc) dental is not covered. \n\nExcuse my English I know it’s not very good but I love your video and I had to left my comments

Each European country has its customs and values, it’s sad to see them fade away and be replaced, in my biased opinion, with more primitive cultures from the Middle East and Africa. Some practices these regions have are quite disgusting and disturbing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all pro immigration, but I believe if you go to a better country, I say better because why else you would leave your country, then respect and incorporate that culture, don’t bring your garbage with you. If you can’t comprehend free speech and democracy, then fkng go back to your sht hole!

I agree with you all , but too bad why did you come here in the first place should of done some research on Canada. Go back to your broken countries and stop abusing the system here. Book a flight and leave we don’t need you here ,there are many who can’t come here and those who do just come to abuse the system , So get out and hurry up you bunch of complaining free loaders.
