I’m a recent Indian immigrant and I’ve lived in Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, and now Canada. I’ll admit that a lot of what’s said here is true: there are far too many cases where Indians abroad show a lack of civic sense, break rules, or behave in ways that don’t respect the host country.  Personally, my family and I have always assimilated wherever we’ve lived, respecting local customs, following rules, and contributing positively to the community and I hate it when immigrants don't assimilate into the local culture and reside in their own enclaves, I mean what was the point of emigrating then?? I truly value the peace and order these countries offer, and I want to give that back. Every community has good and bad examples. The responsibility is on us as immigrants to lead by example, integrate genuinely, and show that we can be respectful, responsible citizens. That’s how perceptions change for the better. It sucks that a whole racial group can be disliked because of some bad apples — and in our case, unfortunately, there are quite a few.

What value are these Indians bringing to Canada? What is Canada trying to prove by allowing these people into the country? Can someone throw light on this please?

Let’s HOPE and PRAY for the sake of the WORLD, and the betterment of INDIA…that TUSHAR GANDHI ~ the great grandson of Mahatma Ghandhi, and a man of great ideals, importance, and progressive ways help founded his LEGACY on tolerance, compassion, fairness, equality, helping the marginalized and the “UNSEEN” amongst the massively impoverished streets! No one is perfect, but TUSHAR GHANDI offers a progressive, prosperous, democratic, anti-corrupt INDIA, whereby it finds itself amongst many western allies, supporting one another’s economies, and preventing violent, corrupt dictators from meddling and destabilizing our countries!\n\nMy family left INDIA for a much safer, prosperous future in CANADA!  To see Indian Nationals arrive in Canada, under the “guise” of students….but…are instead attacking, stealing, intimidating, even kill children is “jarring” to us all! The Indians living in Canada have done NOTHING to India…most don’t have family or connections to India, and consider themselves ?% CANADIAN Nationals, with the first language being English. They had no idea as to the extensive corruption that permeates their lives - from cost of food and living, to the police, construction of dangerous buildings they are force to work in, sexual enslavement of girls, boys, and young women are pervasive, and a result of poverty, and the marginalized, patriarchy, light skin vs dark skin discrimination, lack of a welfare, and a universal HEALTHCARE system. These represent a fraction of the reasons, my family, and others others have left India to find a higher quality, safer, prosperous life, where there’s HEALTHCARE for ALL, DENTAL CARE, Childcare Benefit, employment and higher educational opportunities! There is more…much more…which is why Modi and his GANGSTERS are killing Canadians Indians…for Money, Politics, or simply because he’s a jealous, narcissistic poser, having little to offer his people…it’s ALLL about Modi…just as it was all about Hitler, Stalin, Sadam Hussein, etc. The people of those tyrants paid the price and were victims for generations, until people could withstand it NO LONGER! I hope India wakes up, and is lead by a respectful, intelligent, credible leader, such as TUSHAR GANDHI!\n\nCanadians WELCOME other Indians and immigrants from various countries global wide, as long as, they wish to live together in a society…than we welcome you.  \n\nWe encourage …it makes us a strong country, and is our …not military might, communism fascism, etc., which has demonstrated throughout history that citizens of such societies have NO value and treated like FODDER - as witness in previous World Wars and up to this very day and the wars/conflicts initiated and continue their barbaric atrocities via and \nSuch a society is not welcome here, nor their warped ideologies, and lack of Rather, we welcome people who share our values, morals, ethics, and supremacy of Those willing and eager to join us in celebrating our ~ what it is to be a…our We want a better life for ourselves and our new “wanting to be”, neighbours/residents. Most Indians who have been coming here are doing so by signing up for low-value courses offered by these diploma mills and they don't have the means to sustain their lifestyle here. What they do know is that they can earn an income through a side hustle by working as uber drivers or food delivery drivers during their free time. Most Indians who have been coming here since 2019 come here with the sole aim of getting a PR visa - education is just an excuse to get the visa.

Hey most of the international students who come into the country join 2nd tier colleges and pay exorbitant amount of college tuition. (They can get better education in India than what they get in Canada for what they are paying and they joint shit colleges which no domestic applicant in their right mind would join), the only reason they pay that is so they can settle here and the government of Canada always made immigration policies that made it easy for international students to get a permanent residency so they can boost these shitty 2nd tier colleges who are not worthy. In my humble opinion to make it fair, I support tightening immigration laws that don’t encourage poor quality immigrants any further, but impose the law in such way it doesn’t encourage future immigrants by not impacting people who are already in the system and came due to this immigration hopes promoted by the government. (Indirectly through policies). You won’t find Indians doing menial Tim Hortons jobs in the USA, coz USA only gets and gives PR to Indian immigrants who add value to their country. I agree with you It’s not right for these students to stay, for that please also shut down your 2nd tier colleges where the domestic applicants are less than 70%. If they have no skills are attaining Canadian education should those colleges even exist ?

I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Show them that they’re being used by the liberals and that’ll get them going, cause no one wants to be used. \n\nAs always, TNC reports it as it is and that’s what I’m here for. Thank you!
