There's many reasons not to like Trudeau up here in Canada, many of which are the reason he'll (rightfully) no longer be the PM next week. As a conservative I hated him for SNC-Lavalin (among other scandals), and the fact that his inexperience with the economy Harper left him is probably part of why this trade war is going to hurt more than it could have, and the fact that he's often been kind of a phony more concerned with looking and sounding good for the press cameras. I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. I have Indians living right beside me and they are nice people I even share my parking lot with them cause they have no parking were they live in that apartment building so we don't hate Indians but we do hate Trudeau

I was never racist or taught to see people of other ethnicities or religions as inferior so I don't hate Indians, nor do I show them disrespect unless warranted but the rampant abuse of our systems has messed up so many things. I know of large families of Indians who came as asylum seekers who'd come over separately while claiming different names so when they all come together some families are getting $30k or more per month just for being here. They drive expensive new luxury vehicles and mostly wear expensive designer clothes and are given homes while at the same time us Canadians born and raised here are struggling to even get to eat well every day or have a home to begin with. It's not entirely the fault of Indians, the blame also needs to be shared by our gov't as well since they opened the borders and have mostly waived the process of vetting who comes into our country. It's never a bad thing to have people who genuinely add to the collective greatness of a country but we have let in too many freeloaders and even criminals, the Indian gangs extorting businesses for millions in BC and Alberta for example. Nothing wrong with Indian immigrants as long as we can balance the needs and safety of everyone involved as well. Right now there is no balance and the results are catastrophic. Canada never used to be host to so much divide and hatred as it is now, we can thank Trudeau and his people for that.

I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. Canada has allowed our laws and even speech change to cater to a foreign culture and political idea. Canada became great for what it was and ways it was not for socialism and other country politics. Our own country, a country that designates french or English has signs and communities designated in foreign languages. This is not acceptable and is a cause creating divide. I've also done work in Louisiana, Indiana and all around Michigan. \nAmerica has some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a beautiful country and has a ton to offer anyone with an ounce of drive. The variety you have in your economy is amazing, we don't have a lot of choice when we buy stuff, you guys have so much more to choose from, take restaurants for example, I've never seen so many chain restaurants in one place, we have a handful of them. \nFrom what I've seen, there's also a lot of poverty, crime and violence, but that's literally everywhere right now, even here in Canada, we don't prosecute violent crime anymore. The gun issue is probably the biggest problem...I always felt extremely vulnerable out in public, especially driving, because I assumed everyone had a gun on them, I seen so many random guns on people, it just blew my mind. I always had to keep in mind when I was driving not to road-rage...That's how you get shot. The health care industry in America is nothing but a business model designed to bankrupt people. Our system isn't great at all...nothing to boast about. If you have to visit the ER at any hospital, you'd better bring food and water, you'll be there at least 8 hours before you're even seen by a doctor. Our health care is free yes, but we're taxed to death here because of it. I do indeed wish we had a 2-teir health care system, I want the option to pay to get seen soonest. America and Canada have free(ish) speech. We're both being ruled by leftist loonies, but that's all changing in our next respective election cycles. Biden and Trudeau will be shown the door and we can hopefully get back to healthy debate and more conversation in society...Instead of automatically dismissing each other, vitriolic badgering one another and hating each other. We had unity for a brief time, we all saw it, after 9/11 happened. We put our petty crap aside and saw each other as brothers and sisters. That didn't last very long and we've been in a constant state of crisis ever since. The media has driven a huge nail right through society, and takes a blow at every single issue we face, making it Left vs Right...\nIt's unfortunate to say, but it's going to take something truly devastating, possibly on a biblical scale, for us to come together again.

To be clear, the moment Trudeau is out of power; most people here expect the amount of immigration, to crash. Canadians want our resources to go into helping true Canadians, people born in Canada; who prefer Canadian rights, culture & history. Trudeau has instead been handing out Canadian wealth out of the country in massive amounts. This is just part of why most Canadians now hate him.

Glad you mentioned racism: Canada is a ewhite nation because it destroyed the original indigenous population and i am amongst those that believes its far too late to change now. We nearly succeeded. Starting to protect other colours now and accept immigrants of other colors is a mistake. As a Canadian i do hope the best for everyone but the fact that our government is just allowing anyone who dam well feels like it to cross into our country is just sick and most of the people are destroying motels racking up bills and its Canadian tax payers that must flip the bill none of us should be happy about that i so hate Justin Trudeau for turning Canada into a joke he should be fixing this country and stop helping the rest of the world he has no god dam right doing all that he did.

Sure Scheer needs more of a backbone but come on, he needs to watch his mouth right now! Common sense says he is not going to push any buttons until after election but Scheer is for Canadians!! We all need to band together and vote Scheer or king trudy will get back in, he still has a lot of the dense population in Quebec and Ontario. Keep in mind that no one voted Trudeau really in western Canada and he still got in with our undemocratic election process (the one he promised to change before realizing it was the only reason he was elected and backed out).
