And while Americans scream at each other over whether Target should sell rainbow t-shirts, Trump is quietly selling the country to the Kremlin. \nAt some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence and start calling it what it is: treason. \nThe United States is running out of time. If Trump serves out this term without being removed, America as a functioning democracy is finished. \nThe media needs to wake up. Enough with the “Trump fatigue” excuse. This is not just another scandal—this is the single greatest infiltration of American power in history. Journalists need to dig into Mussayev’s claims, demand declassification of intelligence files, and treat this like the national emergency that it is. \nCongress needs to subpoena Mussayev immediately. His testimony must be public, and every document he has should be reviewed. If there is proof that Trump has been compromised since the 1980s, the American people need to know. \nThe Justice Department needs to stop pretending that Trump is just another politician. If there is evidence that the sitting president of the United States is working in Russia’s interests, he must be removed from office and prosecuted for espionage. \nAnd the American public? You have one last chance. This is not about Republican vs. Democrat. This is not about taxes, gas prices, or whatever nonsense outrage is dominating the news today. Since large scale war is becoming increasingly likely in the next several years, purging the military now is CRAZY (whether it is due to politics, lack of support for Trump, transgender, vaccines, or whatever). Isolationism in the modern world doesn’t work, it’s an obsolete philosophy. I am in the country in rural Northern Ontario and I must say life is still grand! I do avoid the major cities as they are too busy, too much traffic, and yes too much homelessness! This is due to ALL POLITICAL PARTIES NOT INVESTING IN GOOD CHEAP HOUSING! Yes, it is a problem with ALL the political parties, NONE have addressed it, from even before Harper to Trudeau today! WRONG! Not Toronto. It’s more dangerous in Saskatoon! 2024 stats - 7.84 violent deaths per 100,000 residents. \nAlso, Canadians are much more aware of the WORLD while Americans are mostly self-absorbed. \nI lived in the northern US for years (lots of obvious racism which was alien to this Canadian), and then wintered in the south for a number of more recent years (until Trump’s assent when I was verbally beaten by a group of new American friends when I suggested maybe Trump wasn’t so perfect). Since Trump LOST the election, the US has lost its mind so we don’t step foot across the border. We travel Europe again. Beautiful.\nBut, on the whole, Americans are really friendly if you don’t talk politics, don’t stare at anyone, and drive/park absolutely correctly.

I am most certainly in the minority here, as a Canadian. There are a number of things is dislike about the USA; I hate the political climate(but the Canadian one is turning into a dumpster fire too), I dislike how separation of church and state is not existent and how in some states religious beliefs influence policy to infringe on personal rights of everyone, and health care is shit if you don’t have money or a job that traps you. \n\nBut I also love that individual states have more rights than our provinces. That means you can find a state with values that fit yours more so than finding a province. I, personally, would find a state in which I was allowed to carry tools to defend myself(Canada does not allow self defence tools at all), and I would find one that values personal autonomy. \n\nIm definitely an outlier in Canada and the USA. Let me have my guns, don’t tell women what they can do with their bodies, make sure the poor have healthcare, and leave me the hell alone. I’m neither right wing or left wing. There’s are aspects of some places in the US I love, and some overall national themes I don’t. But I wouldn’t move to any other country than the United States. I hate the bad, but I can see the good despite what our media tells us. However, the system is beginning to collapse, and the average US citizen needs to see it.

Western Canadian here. Moved away from the coast last year because of the ideological capture and literally watching the community dissolve and collapse in front of my eyes. Overwhelming drug abuse and a lack of policing or care for the general population. \n\nThe state of this country is sad. Yesterday was Canada Day, our July 4th. Virtually no flags or positive sentiment. It should have been condemned and contained immediately. Muslims who pride themselves as followers of a peaceful religion should have empathized and consoled the grieving Jews. \n\nThere was a lot of time to do this. There was a lengthy delay between the attack and Israel’s ground offensive in Gaza. Instead of taking this time to condemn Hamas’s slaughter, Arab and Muslim politicians and government leaders promoted anti-Jewish hate to shore up their political support. This is nothing less than encouraging antisemitism. \n\nMuslim political and religious leaders, barring rare exceptions, chose to contextualize, equivocate and, in most cases, justify Hamas’s barbarity. And it brought a sense of relief and security to Muslims in Ontario. \n\nRemember how, after more that 50 people were gunned down while worshipping at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019, political and religious leaders from all faiths stood behind Muslims and consoled them? \n\nAlso, after the Quebec mosque attack, almost all communities in Canada chose to stand with Muslims. There were images of people in Alberta who formed a human chain to protect Muslims. Similar scenes were witnessed elsewhere in the country. Jewish community leaders spoke out, loud and clear, in support of Muslims and against hate and bigotry. \n\nBut that is not what Elghawaby did. Instead, she makes it sounds as though it is Muslims who are the victims, while failing to mention the barbarity unleashed on Oct. 7. This is not leadership. This is not her mandate. Her job is to promote tolerance as enshrined in Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. \n\nNow imagine a scenario in which Muslims did what they ought to have done in the first place: condemned the Hamas attack, sided with the Jewish victims and dissociated themselves from terrorism. I have been following US politics closely and I have absolutely no interest in even visiting there again. My friends are actually planning to move away as soon as possible. \n\nIt really saddens me to be honest.

I question even travelling to the USA. Unsafe gun crazy. Rude af maga people to difference. Many think they are the be all end all. Loving their ignorance. \nNever moving. Ever.\nBut still amazing places… my favourite ‘near to travel to’ spots. In the past. Fingers crossed for better times ahead for the USA. Their economic and defence powerhouse standing in the world makes them a leader. But the politics, religious aggressiveness, etc… such a number of batsh!t crazy. Truth.

Just one person here. One: Canada's going in a bad direction for some. Perhaps very bad. Latest is the opposition to the current leader of Canada (and the group) who is shown to be the same in many ways. But it's US better? Mexico might be, except for cartels.\nCanada is multicultural. Arrangements are for 'millions'(?) more.\nImmigrants are in 'tent CITIES' I one city.\nBut doesn't US have that, too?\nSo, not seeing reasons? Politically difficult in both.

It puzzled me. Like being frustrated and insulting their own beliefs. \nNo, sorry, I am happy to live in Canada and visit my friends and family there. \nYou have so many fabulous things to be proud of as an American. I have seen most of the states and would love to do it over again. I have met many, many wonderful and warm decent people there.\nBUT irresponsible gun ownership, mass shooting increasing to the point that other countries are recommending that people not visit the US!!A country divided politically and violently by ignorance of the minority, and allowing people to lose their houses when they lose their health? And women dying from poor pregnancy outcomes although predicted by their doctors....And the gay right thing, and school curriculum foolishness going on in Florida? I'm glad I visited Florida so many times before that craziness. Yey more people keep moving there. 31 million now!Why? I hate the heat an hour and a half above the border! And hurricanes! And massive tornadoes. And Malaria now!\nCome up to Canada. Bring your family too. It's safer. Less people equals less danger.\n\nKeep on keeping on! ❤

It’s horrific how these ppl are forced to live, that is NOT life..reading the comments, it’s disheartening to see. Put yourselves in their shoes! Ask yourself many questions. Would you live your life under a corrupt government? Would you allow the Mexican police/gangs/drug lords, to walk in your home, kill your children, your family, got no reason and get away with it? Would you want to struggle just to feed your baby? Would you want to live how they live? Your country, my county is huge. But hey, it all comes down to greed and politics, right? It’s not about having compassion, it’s about these ppl taking your jobs, homes..am I right? These ppl work for Pennie’s a day, would you? We all deserve a good life, no? If you said no, then where is your God? Where is your compassion? Where is your kindness? Where is your LOVE? Oh how our world would be a much happier place if everyone thought like me. Yes, and sadly, it takes money and many other factors. \nBut if we go back 300-500 years when the white settlers came, took our land (oh I know I’m going to receive backlash and grief, hatred and stripe, and that’s ok) as a Native American person, my ppl could have fought and have y’all sent back to where y’all came from, and WE wouldn’t be living on shitty pieces of land, but every day we are grateful for what we have…don’t call me a savage, most of my family are white just like y’all LOL! But if we won, made you go back to where you came, would you have gone freely? Hell no! We HAD rights, and it was taken away….and take a long hard look at what’s happening today! Country against country..race against race..ppl no longer believe in God and our world is turn to shit…ppl walk past a homeless child and do fuck all (I’ve seen it many times..and yes, I help) stop being so fucking greedy, if you want to help take care of your homeless, then get off your asses and start helping your homeless ppl…will that happen? He’ll no! Why? Because YOU people who are against these ppl who want a better life in America, won’t even make an effort to help your own, now isn’t this called “calling the kettle black” because you simply walk past them, you stare at them with disgust! So don’t be hypocrites! And don’t go and make comments about acting like you truly care for your homeless when you couldn’t give two-shits about your own! \nSad, really fucking sad!

Canadian Government should of seized his whole bank account and all his assets and homes and after he served his prison time, he should of been deported right away not be aloud back into Canada.\nHeck the Canadian Government seized protesters bank accounts who were in Ottawa to protest for freedom. \nI guess this Liberal Government only goes after those that oppose the liberals Government and if Liberal Government doesn't like your political views. \nBut everyone else get a slap on the wrist.

If my Sikh brother had requested that policeman to not put handcuffs on him because he is a student and he will walk with him politely or the policeman had done his work more sincerely by understanding & listening to that kid what he was trying to say about his religion, this whole scenes will be different and could be resolved then 'n there.\nBut what's done is done can't undo it.

He seems like an honest and good guy who just wants to provide for his family and ensure a better future and life for them. I'm from the U.S. and I LOVE both the U.S. and Canada, I do. Besides its looney lefty politics, Canada has some beautiful places to see, especially in British Columbia for me. However, Canada is just like the rest of the world; they have their problems, they have their crime, they have their poor and they have STRICT IMMIGRATION policies.

Terrorism has definately something to do with Islam. This religion does not develop and adjust to the modern world. Women are discriminated and treated like under humans. \nBut terrorism is also made by the U.S. and Europe politics.

So, you are of course right on this one.\nBut islam ios way more than a religion.\nYou simply cant compare a religion that hails the Sun twice a day, with a political ideology wich just acts as a religion.\nIn every state islam has the majority, it becomes a polöitical agenda to take over.\nYou cannot compare that with , lets say the peaceful Jain System.
