Trump is (clinically) a malignant narcissis. Hi personality needs to be fed by a constant flow of accolades from his chosen lackeys. He is so easily played by people whispering in his ear that he is being slighted (Zelensky and Trudeau, even if it is imaginary. It is ridiculous that America has allowed this to come about by their majority of incredibly ignorant voting populace. Starmer showed how to handle Trump. Grovelling and obsequious flattery. Noting else. We are dealing with a President of the USA who has a low IQ even lower EQ (think of a vindictive 10 year old). He has sly animal cunning for sure but that's it. We have 4 years of this moron, God knows what damage he can cause. The thing that motivates him ? Challenges, aspirational acts of benevolence ? Don't be silly tuckers and lovers, it's lovely money, as much as is endlessly possible. Is that the American dream? Is that what makes this English speaking nation tick. Looks very much like it.

If we are going to be an authoritarian, antidemocratic, fascist dictatorship, we have to shed our old friends who would get all judgy about the the human rights abuses. So, step one, destroy relationships with friends. Step two, buddy up to Putin and other dictatorships who will be glad to trade and associate with us even if we do run concentration camps or whatever.\nOr Trump is sucking Putin's butt again for mysterious reasons. Meanwhile, we need a president and I can only say F-no to Vance and I don't know how many other dictator butt goblins in the line of succession, so, since Trudeau is going to be looking for work, lets make and exception and hire him for president. I'd much rather have one with a pro-Canada bias than one one who seems to think he is Putin's Elon Musk.

Im Canadian and let me tell you, the hatred for Trudeau was everywhere. And Pierre Polieve was a shoe in. Since Trump started all this trade war stuff, a lot of us are looking at Trudeau differently. Its almost like Trump is doing this to make us Canadians like Trudeau again lol

Please keep in mind, that all the issues we have in Canada are because of Trudeau. He's been in power for almost a decade. The widespread drug abuse and crime is because of him being weak on policy and handing out drugs like candy paid by tax payers. More people died from fentanyl in Canada than our soldiers in WWII. That is all on his watch. He is only making these changes because of Trump. What kind of a leader is Trudeau to only become Canada first when a person from outside the country threatens him? He is a horrible leader and a traitor to the Citizens and the Country we call Canada. Regardless of what his speech is, he cannot be trusted with his globalist agenda. He has stepped down (thank goodness!!) and Canada is looking forward to having Pierre Poilievre as our PM.

Well you have now experienced that this is in fact the case first hand. You have taken from America with very little in return and these are the consequences of your woke agenda for Canada. Justin Trudeau is a parasite...he caused 86% food inflation, causing millions of Canadians to have to rely on food banks, while Trudeau spent $81k of Canadian taxpayers dollars on groceries for himself this year alone...Trudeau underfunded Canada in relation to NATO, underfunded Canada in relation to NORAD, ticked off Trump by being rude to him in the past so that now Trump launches an economic trade war against Canada cause he just wants to hurt Canada to hurt Trudeau. Yes, Trump is an absolute economic imbecile as this trade war will cause Great Depression 2 in America and Canada (unless he invades which I think he will in some years) but the thing I hate the most about this is that Trump makes Trudeau look like the good guy in all this when Trudeau ruined Canada beforehand...all Trump needed to do was SHUT UP and let the Canadian perpetual liar LEAVE office...now we all pay the price for Trump's hatred of Justin Trudeau :(

Trump is a joke but nobody is laughing. Trudeau puts Trump to shame. This is why Canada is respected, while Trump is regarded as a bully and a petulant child who is intent on hurting his friend to impress another bigger bully. The people of the US are most at risk and hopefully will eventually realise that Trump is the problem and not the answer. He is driving the US economy into the ground just to appease Putin. It makes you wonder what information Putin has about Trump that he is holding over Trump's head? This fiasco is making Trump look like a weak fool who cares nothing for what pain the US people will suffer. Poilievre has no interest in solving anything.\nCriminalizing poverty and those with addiction is not the answer. Conservatives love corporate welfare but not helping those with real need. \nMany conservatives claim to be Christian. Yet so often push hate and lack empathy and compassion for others. I'm an American who moved to Canada. Would I ever move back? Probably not. The US is so screwed up right now that I can't imagine ever moving back into that malstrom. Most Americans don't realize the laughing stock Trump has made of the US. Trudeau isn't great but Donald Trump makes Trudeau look like a saint. And socialized medicine, while imperfect still beats the US medical insurance situation. Less litter, less congestion and more politeness. That's Canada compared to the US.
