Trudeau is a joke, all of canada hates him. lets get a real leader in office.

I´m from Germany and I think Trudeau shows how to be a real leader, not a showmaster. What makes me thougtful is to see the Republicans cheering to Donalds inhumane statements. We Germans historicaly know, that this kind of right wing politics can lead to a real desaster. I don´t understand, why only such a little number of americans are standing up and demonstrate for their rights und safe their democracy. This could all end very bad.

Wow, Trudeau called the president Trump by his first name and then called him dummy. What a leader Trudeau is, a real model for the rest of the world. He is so brave and courageous. Uhhhh.. actually he is a -wether- and he is just too stupid and blind to know it.

The title is misleading. I thought he actually went to the USA and confronted Trump in person, but apparently not. This doesn’t really count. Come on, Trudeau! Go face Trump! Anyone can give a speech nowadays it seems. it takes a real leader to confront him. At least Macron, Starmer and Zelensky had balls to face trump.

What an outstanding leader Justin Trudeau is….and has been on the world stage and at home for many years. I hope he does not step down from politics or not seek re election as Leader and withdraws his resignation letter. This action s exactly what Trump needs to hear and bring him down to earth but then Trump is a puppet for Maga and Putin. I have no idea if Prime Minister Trudeau reads any of these comments or if his team does, but as an American, I am ashamed of our current government. We have a narcissist for a leader who is a bad businessman and a puppet of Putin. How refreshing to see a real LEADER who actually cares about his country and not himself. I support Canada wholeheartedly. I suspect many Americans will be hurt badly by these embargoes and (justified) retaliatory tariffs - but so be it.

Trudeau resigned as prime minister because he was deeply unpopular in Canada. He proceeded to suspend parliament while President Trump threatened these Tariffs and then immediately left to Europe to posture with European leaders. He did absolutely nothing to strengthen the US/Canadian relationship while his party set about appointing (not electing) a new leader. Trudeau is an actor and a hypocrit. Do not believe anything he says. Now I don't agree with President Trump's tariffs on American allies like Canada. I don't understand the metrics he's using to justify them.
