How can you worship sticks and stones and other earthly materials that which you carve with your own hands.. Why do they worship that which does not benefit them neither can do any harm to their enemies. You leave the one and only real God Allah who created everything in the heavens and earth and worship that which depends on your own hands or tounge(superstitious stories). Please wake up and stop worshipping idols stop following blindly like blind sheep your forefathers and ancestors. Its like a deja vu moment. Trump tariff reminds me of Modi's demonetisation in India targeting black money. Both are good as spectacle for their voter base but will give more negative impacts for the voter themselves. QUE???? I’m a Mexican American too. This lady reminds me of one of my tias who basically gave away that she also voted for trump. How could you do that to your own family? It literally takes YEARS, DECADES for so many people to even get citizenship. But this lady is okay deciding the lives of other people because for her, getting her citizenship was easy. It’s not easy for most people. And so many people die trying to do it legally. And our government demonizes them for it.

What this lady doesn't understand is that it doesn't matter if she has her green card because people like her will also be deported because it's not going to be only Trump it's gonna be the Heritage Foundation in charge of going after them and they aren't going to care if you are Mexican and have a green card they just don't want you here period! I think that what you are describing is the case in most western traditionally European countries. I also think that is on purpose. I live in the US and have my entire life, I'm in my 50's (let's just leave that there!). the same can be said for many places in this country. I've lived in newengland my whole life. it used to be considered the benchmark when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's , as far as cost of living , cost to buy a home , wages and job opportunities , quality of life, safety. its not the case now. I did recently move to extreme northern new England this year as southern New England where I grew up and my family is , too crowed, too expensive etc. I am within 1-5 miles of Canadian border where I am now, but still in US! I do have a current passport, just renewed it and plan to visit NB and Quebec City and hopefully PEI . I do live in a very rural area with low population currently. farming and timber are main industries here. not a lot going on, but at my age I really enjoy it. reminds me of how things used to be when I was growing up 40 years ago! people and even young people are polite and decent here, no traffic. its a bubble, but we are 500 miles from the chaos to the south. I remember applying for jobs after graduating highschool in 2008 in ottawa. I would hit 10-20 stores a day asking to meet the manager of every one of them. \nThere was a job fair at toys r us and we were lined up out the door, i was one of the few who actually dressed formally, still didnt get the job. Lol this reminds me of a story my brother in law told me and my sister when they were still dating. His class in high school had gone to New York for reasons that I no longer remember. He had set his camera down beside him just out of his peripheral vision for less than a minute and when he went to pick it back up, it was gone.\nFor a (possibly unfair) comparison, when I was in high school, I accidentally left my wallet on a city bus. A wallet that had my SIN card in it. Someone found my wallet, went through the white pages to find people with my last name, found my grandpa and told him that he had found my wallet and to pass his number on to me to give it back. I called that number and did indeed get my wallet and all of its contents back

Quebec (montreal): Medical care, any public services rude, irresponsive and bureaucracy sucks n complicated (example: people wait for uncertainty just to renew their driving license), THE CRUELEST THING IN QUEBEC INCLUDING MONTREAL IS MEDICAL SERVICES (my god reminds me of third world countries i have ever been in), they will just ignore you heartlessly even if you have RAMQ (quebec heath care coverage), u have to have family doctor n u have to sign up to get one IN UNCERTAIN TIME, some they get family doctor within 3 years, others 5,7 years so on so forth so uncertain, so if u dont have family doctor u wont get treated, and if u have family doctor u will hve to stick to where your family doctor works at only, and to get appointment at some clinic they will put you on wait for some days or even weeks if u get the availability slots for u, if u got emergency u will wait 8,10,12 or 14 hours in pain. I feel bad for montreal citizen i swear, they r so patient with all of this while the tax is one of highest in canada. \n\nNow for rental (apartment in general), the check is crazy long it takes around 2 weeks just to rent, if u r lucky u will get taken if u r not then the landlord will take others, the 1 year lease means 1 year, so far to my experience in alberta like for example, 1 year lease but minimum period u have to stay usually around 3-6 months n after that u can leave with notice to the landlord to vacate the unit. \n\nBut in montreal, u have to find other person to transfer the lease, n if u found the person like i told u earlier, the landlord will check the person n the approval/ disapproval is by the landlord. I had to stay for one year living like hell cause the neighbors freaking so loud n partying every week end night till dawn. Couldn’t even have good sleep for work, so I called 911 two times, the police couldn’t do anything, yet the landlord n the building management kept on saying that they gave warning etc to that tenant, but they didn’t take any further action toward that, n i know they dont care, they care only for money. When i started to file complaint to the TAL(quebec rental board, they r irresponsive, complicated procedures, n in the end they dont solve any problem, on their site said that renter or landlord has to retain lawyer, the hell they r there for then? \n\nThe apartment building is tiny, tight old, the wall is thin, u can hear everything from your neighbour upstair, downstair n on your side too.. \n\nMONTREAL IS ALSO SO DENSED AND TIGHT, the main road so tight with cars parked on both sides of the road to ways only one lane on each way, cos mostly apartment building they dont provide parking spot, so they have to park on the road side, i feel bad for the bus driver i swear, with snow mounting on both side of the road makes driving bus is just so stressful, almost every neighbourhood looks dirty, trashes, people littering every where. Im Not complaining but that’s what it is, im living in montreal currently for more than one year but im just gonna move out of here lol

I am sorry but I completely disagree. There is a difference between a surgery being delayed and rescheduled verses not being able to get the surgery at all because you do not have any healthcare. Even with employment many people cannot afford their employer sponsored healthcare because the premium is too high. All of the things you mentioned might be better addressed outside of Canada but definitely not by coming to the US. Our wages are not high, the tax rate is around the same 30% or higher by now with the tax hikes. This truly reminds me that we all have our individual circumstances that fees our perspectives and sometimes we do not realize what we have until it’s gone. Great discussion though #blessings
