If the plan was to unite all these countries together as one ! Why not ? Why are we fighting anyways, again ? Why don't we all get along !? Consists of literally sharing its only common border with the united states would mean a complete scrap of the total infrastructure since they would hace then compensate through sea and air through the arctic and distances of 10x of what they are used to. Then it starts to make sense as to why trump wants Greenland. Look this it just a bluff by the Canadian prime minister that supposedly resigned not long ago but his tyrant ass don't really wanna leave. As a u.s citzen I'm appalled and ashamed of my president. 1/2: Myself and the saner half of the US that read, understood, and voted against Proj 2025 understands why they need to levy retaliatory tariffs especially as a Michigander who's lived less than 4 hours from Canada all her life, who has family in Quebec and Ontario, and is a job-seeking policy professional and international trade nerd who now cannot in good faith seek a job in the federal government. We have been looking and still do look to Canada as a model quite a bit and love Canada and Canadians to pieces. We Michiganders especially in the central and eastern UP and Detroit and Ann Arbor area are friends, coworkers, and family of Canadians. Some are even dual citizens. Canada must receive its spanking, and Donald will have to save face. If Canada didn't have tariffs on American goods, Trump wouldn't have placed any reciprocal tariffs on Canada. This is retaliatory If Canada really wanted to have this partnership that they speak about. Why not just remove tariffs on American goods? America's economy doesn't depend on Canada. But The same can't be said for Canada. Good luck biting the hand that feeds you.

Why doesn't CNN talk about Prime Minister Trudeau's belief of why Trump is doing this?

As a Canadian I have to say that Trudeau is the worst Prime Minister in Canadian history! He destroyed our country and economy. He doesn't respect Trump and Canadian people. That's why we are in this mess!

Mexico and Canada's exports are 70-80% to the USA while we only export 13-14% to them. This means most of their economy relies on the USA and only a small of ours rely on theirs.

Why are they not opening fire? I'm not sorry for your situation as we have problems here too. If you want to act like fools charging the gates to our border, that is an act of war and should be treated as such. One warning shot would have made them stop. If they didn't stop you shoot one person. If that doesn't make them stop, you start taking ppl out. We need to protect our borders, protect them from criminals, drug mules, and the like.
