Don't call yourself a journalist, and this video is not a pure journalism. You are just finding the bad things about Indians.

I am so sick of this shit... you guys act like white people didn't do this exact same thing years ago but because they aren't white and have a different culture then "most" Canadians it becomes a problem. Canada accepts a lot of immigrants more then the US but if the US had a less strict immigration policy it would probably look very similar. Canada is super under populate comparing it to other countries of the same exact size. Hey Canadians can we not be as racist as the flipping Americas. Saying that they're is an invasion of people who have proper documentation and are allowed to live in Canada is racist. To say you want people of a different race or culture is flipping racist no matter what way you spin it. It makes me so angry that fucking youtuber with no fucking degree gets to shit on others people lives and profit off of it. And the sad part is Tyler is not the only one doing this but many other youtubers are straight up doing bad journalism and taking random peoples word for it...with zero degrees in the matter they are speaking about. Yes sometime he gets people who actually know what they are talking about but most the time they are super bias or have something to gain from talking about it. Anyways, I just tired of "Scary" propaganda most the time it's not an actually issue. What we as Canadians should be focused on why you need 10+ years of experience to work a minimum wage job (And it isn't Indian immigrants fault but greedy corporations)

I believe it was a temporary program introduced during the pandemic. This whole segment doesn’t delve enough into the background to be sure of exactly who this is going to effect and how. That’s just bad journalism. I’d like to know because I cross the path of many immigrants and care about them.
If the federal government’s economic plans work out, there could be more demand for workers in the coming year, especially in and around Montreal - I also pay attention to announcements of companies setting up or expanding here - and this might be another example of the CAQ shooting themselves in the foot again. They seem oblivious that an election is coming next fall.

This is bad journalism. The amount of blatant racism and unchecked misinformation in the first 2 minutes is WILD.

What an awful piece of journalism. Uhh look at graph go up! Up mean bad!
Claims of an increase in suspicious asylum claims. Any sources? What is the definition of a suspicious asylum claim?
Housing prices go up due to increased immigration. Any sources? Do corporate landlords stalling out the market have anything to do with this? Does anyone actually think that "low skill" workers taking up "Canadian teenagers'" jobs are able to afford a house?
Temporary foreign workers taking up jobs. Any background on the temporary worker program? Does this seem like a policy failure or is it the immigrants' fault that corporations are abusing their labor to save money?
A+ reporting here, guys!

The reporter misdirected the whole story. The story was about tariffs and their effects on both the U.S. consumers and the public as well as the country of Colombia. The story is not about how people planning to come to to the U.S. feel, even though that is of interest. This is an example of how the media and reporters miss the point. Bad journalism.

Disingenuous journalism.\n\nAnti-immigration is a binary term, and you’re using it to characterize anyone who is critical of a terribly implemented set of immigration policies that are resulting in bad outcomes for both the new immigrants and current citizens.\n\nSure, the issue isn’t with immigration… the lack of infrastructure and services and housing is the problem. This doesn’t mean reduction of immigration numbers isn’t a part of the solution. It’s common sense that if I only have enough food and space for 8 people then I’m not inviting 20 to my party…. The issue isn’t with get-togethers the solution is to only invite 8 until I can accommodate 20. \n\nSo stop being dense about this.

When the man says they’re replacing his building with parking lots, and you take it upon yourself to interpret that as “high rise buildings”— perhaps as in, for foreigners— this is bad journalism. \n\nDon’t say things off the cuff that add to your narrative if you’re not going to bother to research them because it sends the message that your just tainting your message to fit what you personally are angry about. The term fascist gets misused a lot, but this is actually a very fascist thing to do. \n\nI’m all for a strong Canada, but don’t be the fool that thinks swinging it all the way the other way is the better option.
