I tell you what, I have been saying this about the Canadian border for more than 20 years. I used to love to drive to Ontario and it was SO easy through Detroit, Niagara, etc. But the thing NO ONE is talking about is the ability to get a BOAT or using a FERRY to cross the border all the time. It's so easy it's scary. ALSO there is an area of of the New York to Maine border that is mostly forest and with minimal roads/population. Our God only knows what is going on there. I have to say, that when I drove through this area in 2013 as a woman with her dog, I was afraid. I don't scare easily, and I trust my instincts. Something's got to change.

Been to USA and was terrified of getting sick or hurt the whole time I was there. Our healthcare is free. Everyone possibly carrying guns was a scary thought also. When I was 19 I went to ft lauderdale, scary as youth were falling off balconies from drunkenness and I got accosted (attempted recruitment). by I don’t know how many pimps. Someone tried to spike my drink at a bar; got my purse stolen with all my id. It was just one thing after another. It got scary and I couldn’t wait to leave. Everyone was playing a game.

Sad thing is the people who voted Trudeau into power is the ageing, retiree population. They get all the benefits now at the expense of the hard-working new generation. Immigrants were brought in to fuel the economy, but the government did not think about the fact that the market was so dead that now there isnt enough jobs for them or Canadians.\n\nTrudeau and the left wing needs to go, unfortunately the ageing population doesnt give two shits about the current situation as they get all the benefits, and scary thing is we can still get him for another election. 8:15 there’s a reason for this. It’s a melting pot in America. Bringing all these different cultures together… but if too many from one country show up, they’ll make a community too large that they don’t need to melt with the population. There are Chinatowns and Little Italys and whole Mexican communities, but ultimately everyone has to interact with everyone else. Allowing 300,000 Indians to get green cards every year and only 1,000 Norwegians would lead to the Norwegians merging well with the country, while the Indians would all move to one or two cities and make entire sections of the cities like small versions of their own country. Which is the last thing we want. Once an immigrant community gets enough power to be a voting block, things are scary, but once it has enough power that they start getting their own representatives and passing laws for the rest of us? Laws the look like laws they had back in their own countries… that led them to run from their countries in the first place? It’s a concern. We want people to adapt to the USA and not try to adapt the USA to them. Over time, the US does change due to the growing voting blocs. But that’s after generations of those immigrant populations getting larger, and their children being born and raised in the country they’ve adapted to. When I see a protest of Muslim immigrants burning pride flags, or Chinese and Spanish-speaking Hispanic immigrants who never bothered to learn English, I see problems with our immigration system. But the kids of the Arab immigrants will be more tolerant, and the Hispanic kids will have grown up in American schools. Most Chinese-American kids might speak some Chinese at home with their parents, but they’re worse at it, and their first language is English. It takes second Generation immigrants to really start meshing with America. But if entire school districts are all Indian, and every store, restaurant, and business in a whole town is Indian, then those kids won’t adapt to America. They won’t get bits of their home culture from their time at home and with their neighbors, while also getting bits of American culture from their classmates and other people around them. Nope. They’ll only be exposed to the first Generation who completely took over the area- IF, we allowed for unfettered immigration from the largest countries. It’s a fact that immigrant communities like to stick together. But if not enough people are in that community that you need to reach out to others around you, it helps expose you to the rest of America… Anyway! There are a ton of shows that indirectly show this phenomena. Fresh Off the Boat. The Sopranos. Even Brooklyn 99. We see as traditional and hard-to-adapt parents have to deal with kids in the next generation who are more American, don’t follow the same customs and traditions as their parents, and overall just left more of their old culture behind. No one is asking that immigrants abandon their cultural ties, but if you come to America, there are things that people need to change and accept if they’re going to live here.

Just for fun of comparing our countries, since gun violence and violence is usually mentionned a lot I just looked at some weird stats. First of all, in Canada around 13% of the population own a gun and 22% of household at least have one gun compared to the US which 32% of the population own a gun and 44% of household at least have one gun. The other weird stats I looked, after finding that out, was the methods of homicides in Canada and the US. It's supposed to be stats by compiling the police repports and could be not completely accurate but it is still different how they are stated. For exemple in Canada in 2021 the number of victims by shooting 297, stabbing 242 and beating 130. For the US it's not by shooting, it starts with the victims by handgun 6012, then firearms which the type is not stated in the repport 4740, then knives and cutting instruments 1035, personal weapons (hands, fists, feet etc.) 461, then rifles 447, other guns 227 and shotguns 152. The scary thing about the US is even if Canada is 11.53% the population of the US, 11578 victims by shooting compared to 297 seems a lot. To have the same rate of violence as the US our victims by shooting in Canada would have had to be 1004. Which means in 2021 there was 71% less homicide by shooting in Canada compared to the US. Another thing I found, I live in the second largest city of Canada, it's not the 2nd but the 27th most dangerous city in Canada and if we consider only the cities which have a population of more than 1million, it's actually the 3rd safest city of Canada. So yeah I'll stay in Canada, even though I live in sin city it's still safer, there's a better health care system and we have a good multicultural diversity. Sorry for the long text, it's 4am and I write as much as I talk, which is a lot when I'm tired.

There are so many scary things about the US right now. Drugs, crime, mass murders, accessibility to healthcare, terrorism, racial hate crimes, etc. The list is quite long. Not everyone is affected by all of these things (knock on wood). One thing that is disgusting is politics. It is not dangerous per se as the aforementioned so it is probably not fair to say it as a justification against moving to the US. However, it is very commonplace in the US, and it is very annoying. Politics is extremely toxic, aggressive, and divisive right now. One wrong comment out of your mouth in public, and people will be ready to fight you. Or on the flip side, you hear one wrong comment in public, it is best to bite your tongue. \n\nPolitics in the US was not always intolerable. It has always been a strong subject of discussion since forever. However, it became disgusting and overly obnoxious ever since Trump came into the scene. I think his elitist personality gave his supporters a green light to be more vocal about their own divisiveness. Combine that with social media, and you have a recipe for disaster... so much hate, divisiveness, and willingness to not bite one's tongue right now in the States. American politics is really overbearing. And monkey see and monkey do... it will leak into Canada. I guarantee it.

I live in victoria, bc. Every single topic discussed on this video is not only accurate but they are things i deal with every day.\n\nI work at a hotel downtown and with all the Homelessness and mental illness my job often seems more about keeping people out of the hotel than letting people in.\n\nWe were one of the last hotels to take cash and debit and we found out the hard way it just doesnt work and now we need credit cards like the other hotels which isnt fool proof and is unfair to people who dont use credit cards (like me) but its better than nothing.\n\nA lot of people are free to move around but they do not function in a way that is compatible with modern society for which there is no escape. A lot of homeless people lead miserable lives it seems and sometimes two people having a bad day end up colliding.\n\nI have a nice home with a roomate but our landlady likes us and isnt as concerned about money as having good tenants. She is 80 something and when she is done with having tenants then i will be in a very tough position and will probably...i dont even know.\n\nTook me years to get a doctor but i have one now and getting pushed out asap is a real thing due to time concerns so have lots of solid facts about your problem and avoid poetry or drama.\n\nEverything in this video are things i think about everyday and its even getting a bit scary.\n\nI love my country and its values but we have a lot of hard work to do i think.\n\nPS i had an accident at work where a chair broke and it tipped backwards and the back of my head hit a protrusion resulting in a minor cut but there was lots of blood.\n\nI called the 811 service and they said to have it checked out and i almost didnt gonto the hospital because i wasnt sure if i could stand waiting for 10 hours.\n\nI was lucky because it took only 2 hours with a bonus tetanus shot. They decided the bump was small enough to not worry about bur i really felt like they were giving 100% while running on empty to get the job done.\nHeroes for sticking with us.

Every province has its pluses and minuses. However, one thing I like about much of Alberta is the dry climate. Much of Alberta is on the High Plains, and has a semi-arid climate. A semi-arid climate is actually a really nice positive aspect of Alberta compared to the other provinces, especially compared to the very depressing wet and cloudy weather in portions of BC and much of Atlantic Canada.\n\nOne warning about the Prairie Provinces, particularly Manitoba and Saskatchewan. You can get severe weather out there. Now that shouldn’t discourage you from living there. Everyplace has its risks of natural disasters. However, the storms in that part of Canada can get downright dangerous and scary!
