Trudeau has had his up and downs in Canadian politics over the years, with the ever present divide between Conservatives and Liberals here in Canada, but one thing is for sure, he's a true statesman, who speaks with wisdom from the heart, and for that is respected around the world. Trump would be smart to take notes from Trudeau, a man with considerably more skill, etiquette and experience in the field of political leadership, both hear at home, and on the world stage.

I don't care what side of the fence you sit on. I did not need to hear this man speak to already know Canada was, but may yet be, our greatest ally and trading partner. I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

Why did Canadians dislike this guy so much before all this? Because some Russian trolls on social media disguised as Canadians told them to? That's how we got Trump! It seems like they learned from our mistake. I hope they did. Look, all over the world, things are tough, post pandemic. It's not just your country. You can be patient as left leaning leaders use data and expertise to get things running again...OR you can elect these far right NUTCASES, AND MAKE A MESS THAT IS IRREVERSIBLE! DON'T TRUST THE FAR RIGHT! YOU ARE NOT IN THEIR CLUB. THEY WORK FOR THEMSELVES AND THEMSELVES ONLY, AND WILL TELL YOU WHATEVER LIE YOU NEED TO HEAR TO GET INTO OFFICE.

I am Canadian and I am envious of Americans because you have a leader who can stand for you guys, Canada’s economy has been suffering with his leadership even before Trump was elected but he is supporting /funding war , giving out tax payers to refugees he has been bringing who don’t contribute to tax. Hear him more concerned to Americans as opposed to announcing to us Canadians what is his plan for Canada to address tariff! Let USA do their thing , improve your leadership and don’t rely on other countries plans/decisions, unfortunately we are affected but it’s your job to make strategies of how you would address that. Dont blame Trump you could have thought of plans prior implementation

Nice to hear an intelligent speech. Why destroy relationships with your closest allies and then cuddle up to Putin and Russia? It will be the businesses and employees, not the politicians who are now trying to act tough. If we want this to turn into a real kinetic war, then turning off the taps may do it. \n\n We have seen countless times where politicians tell us what we want to hear, making us think they are heading is a certain direction, only to find they do the exact opposite. This proves you can not believe what career politicians say and have to go by what they do, or don’t do, instead. Yet now, they confidently declare that Canada will never become the 51st state. This should raise eyebrows. \n\n Almost all of the MPs and Premiers are unanimous in entering into a trade war we can not win. After tariffs go ballistic, our dollar drops to .35 cents, and we get utterly crushed, I can see them say, “in order to save what’s left of our economy and society we must reluctantly join the U.S. or face certain destruction”. \n\n Not only would the decades old goal of a North American Union be accomplished, but we would take a large step towards the video statement that the World Economic Forum - WEF posted on their website. “By 2030, you will own nothing and be happy”. \n\n The WEF is working with the UN to achieve their Agenda 2030 goals and is what Pierre Poilievre and the “Conservatives” signed Canada onto Sept. 27, 2015. There are so many scary things about the US right now. Drugs, crime, mass murders, accessibility to healthcare, terrorism, racial hate crimes, etc. The list is quite long. Not everyone is affected by all of these things (knock on wood). One thing that is disgusting is politics. It is not dangerous per se as the aforementioned so it is probably not fair to say it as a justification against moving to the US. However, it is very commonplace in the US, and it is very annoying. Politics is extremely toxic, aggressive, and divisive right now. One wrong comment out of your mouth in public, and people will be ready to fight you. Or on the flip side, you hear one wrong comment in public, it is best to bite your tongue. \n\nPolitics in the US was not always intolerable. It has always been a strong subject of discussion since forever. However, it became disgusting and overly obnoxious ever since Trump came into the scene. I think his elitist personality gave his supporters a green light to be more vocal about their own divisiveness. Combine that with social media, and you have a recipe for disaster... so much hate, divisiveness, and willingness to not bite one's tongue right now in the States. American politics is really overbearing. And monkey see and monkey do... it will leak into Canada. I guarantee it.

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I think it is a wonderful thing to share the world's longest border with such a great nation as Canada. I have always thought Canada was like the United States fraternal brother or sister. Also Obama deported quite a bit of Latin people from this country. Obama was enforcing the laws a lot of people don't want to hear that but that's true. Somebody gave this guy some bad information. Canada has the population of 30 million people. It's easier to keep track of 30 million than 350 million which is the approximate population of the United States. Also to my Republican friends Ronald Reagan naturalized and gave amnesty to 10 million Latin immigrants to this country in one swipe of his pen back in I think 1986.

So I'm in a dilemma of whether I should move down to Florida and live with my American girlfriend, or stay up here and support her moving up here in Canada. My main issue is health care. I just hear many people have bad service and poor treatment with insurance down there, but it all depends what insurance your applying with. People are fairly nice, but there are also some douche bags as well so I'm not surprised. With my overall budget, I could likely stay down there for about a few months or so. Here in Canada, taxes are a little higher, but it's worth it (Some idiot said our taxes are lower), health care is paid for, winters are cold but anyone can survive through it. Some say Canada is a socialist (which is Not -_-). Liberal party is ruining Canada as it is in a way. But again, it's better Justin than Trump. (Betting for Scheer). Idk, politics is bad in both countries I say. Idk, I'm likely missing some things here. Should I move down with my girlfriend, or stay up and support her moving up here?
