I am so so surprized with the comments coming from an assumed Christian White man in work jacket and a beautiful bike to ride on, against muslims and African immigrants!!! The hate in the comments is sad. The fact that people can’t differentiate their racist tendencies from their sense of nationalism is concerning. You guys love to comment “it is racist to not want Indians in Canada” but half of the people in your boat, liking those comments and engaging in discussion are literal bigots whose only points in discussions involving this topic are hateful phrases and ignorance.

It would be really nice to see them round up in Surrey BC and Brampton Ontario these communities that are infested with drug dealing and extortion of their middle class families back home. But really FOR fast track Healthcare professionals/doctors into this country. Canada as a country also has to start having more children I do not know how they solve the problem but our population is aging and if we don't want to end up like Japan we have to do something about it. These comments are jokes … I’m a born and raised Canadian who’s parents came here in the 1960 to British Columbia , Brampton is beautiful city a lot of this hate towards it is just racism .. go to Markham filled with Chinese’s who’s stores names are written in their language they even had police station setup , go to Mississauga area filled with Arabs, go to parkdale filled with Philippines and Tibetan … every city in this country has sub section of communities and if people have issue with immigration go and complain to the government that’s allowing it to happen by selling false dreams … immigration is open to anyone as long as you have the money to support your stay here along with the necessary paperwork… plus half of the people complaining about jobs go and ask manager why they hire international kids .. cause they actually show up to work since they gotta work had to pay for high cost of living.. unlike most of the Canadian born kids that will call in sick cause they stayed up until 3 playing video games , it has nothing to do with skin color but work ethics

Happiness and joy are largely natural e. first time you hold your baby child/grandchild/niece/nephew etc. No one ever taught you to feel what you did in that moment. Hate and bigotry are learned. From family, school, friends, TV (hello Fox News), internet (influencers, comments made by others). Hatred and bigotry also require work and effort. To maintain your hatred, you need to apply an effort. Like building a fire. Once it begins to start, need to add sticks, wood etc. Not the case with happiness and joy

I agree with the comments of the immigrant contributors. You come here for a better life, that’s why you left your country. my dil is mexican and is here legally. last march my son called me very early one morning with the news that his brother in law had been randomly murdered the night before. he was also in this country legally. as is my Dil's younger sister who lives with them. They also recently took in one of her younger sister's high school friends who was pregnant. they kept the girl safe with them until she gave birth. when I visited last may, I brought multiple baby gifts for the girl. when I have posted this before. there were many hateful comments that my son's brother-in law was probably killed by another illegal. Actually he was here in the country legally, as is my daughter-in-law. my DIL works hard doing payroll at a portland contracting company. she is here legally. at this point I can't wrap my mind around the hate that is thrown on people from other countries. most of us have ancesters that came from other places. I know that I do.

Imagine have a million immigrants coming in with a country that has a population of 40 million.\n\nThe infrastructure comes to a stand still, housing is ruined, food inflation begins. \n\nHonestly thanks to Diploma mills, Asylum seekers and gangs from Punjab, its honestly gotten bad from the Indian perspective. As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future. Lots of comments are on these kids: just imagine on a sports day or a national holiday or on a stormy day who will be serving you a double double? Many people take advantage of immigration and the immigrants. This creator had a very anti Punjabi bias which is false. I am a Punjabi Canadian who has lived in Canada for generations, my large family helped build the region I live in from the ground up. This first-generation Australian doesn't know what he's talking about and is just jumping on the hate train.

I hate that all indians get a bad image because of this. Most come just for opportunity, gujarati, people from Mumbai, and some honest punjabi's. But all comments I ever see about are related to uneducated punjabi immigrants that are causing the problems. People back in the day used to have to show competence before coming here, these days almost anybody can come. Gosh the hate and xenophobia against Indians in the comments is appalling. I agree the level of immigration is bad and government is letting it run out of hand. I also agree that many of these Indian students aren’t fit for a Canadian life and integration and a lot many folks from India are gaming the system but the Canadian government is not doing anything and it’s a big problem. But it’s sad that Canadians are hating on all Indians.

Many of these students were sold a bill of goods by various people who promised more than they should have. As our PM has stated students coming over has not been the issue, but having temporary workers come over has been. What had been traditionally 2% has been 7% plus. This is what needs to be reduced, but in most of these cases no one wants to do the jobs they have, such as fruit picking. I find some of the comments here as being offensive, don't need more Tim Horton workers. A number of these individuals are here for PR first and schooling second, this needs to tighten up. Your rant is counterproductive, and just puts out more hate, when we need to stop the hate.

Hello everyone, \n \nAs a 55 year old white Canadian male (born and raised), I wanted to take a moment to address some of the anti-immigration sentiment I've seen in the comments section. \n \nI just want to say how much I love and appreciate the diversity that immigrants bring to our country. I truly believe that Canada is made stronger by the contributions of new Canadians from all walks of life. \n \nOn a personal note, I am so grateful for the love and acceptance that my daughter's partner from India has brought into our family. Their relationship has taught me so much about different cultures and traditions. Love knows no boundaries and I am proud to support their relationship wholeheartedly. \n \nSo to anyone spreading hate or negativity towards immigrants, I urge you to open your heart and mind. Embrace the richness of diversity and build bridges, not walls. There is substantial lesson here for pseudo patriotic Indians. They strongly display hate for any real or perceived slight to India. If there are some illegal Bangladeshis, every one gets on social media and denegrates whole of Bangladesh. If there is political disagreement with Maldivians, entirely boycott all things Maldive, stop food export to them and spew unvarnished hate on social media. I hate to disagree to most comments on this Video. Canada is still one of the best countries to live, work and raise your family. As a pakistani immigrant myself, having lived in Dubai, Saudi, and UK, I still find Canada easily the best overall.\n\nWhen it comes to hardships, yes you must have a positive mindset to survive in Canada but ofcourse you pay the price of living your Canadian dream. \n\nIf you are a couple with a household income of 10K take home, you can still live an extremely good life in Canada. I think that a lot of people who seem to hate Canada in this comment section are either from Toronto and Vancouver, the two most expensive cities in the country, but these two cities don't represent Canada as a whole. \n\nPersonally I live in a smaller city in Québec (Saguenay) and life quality is super good, there are a lot of job opportunities and housing is very cheap, and it is an amazing place for outdoor lovers\n\nI saw many comments saying that the US is cheaper than Canada... Those people simply don't compare what's comparable. If you compare Toronto with comparable cities in the US like New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Toronto is in fact MUCH cheaper. If I compare my city with comparable cities in the US, well it turns out that Saguenay is much cheaper\n\nSo before wanting to move to another country, you can simply think about moving within Canada. If however you hate winter, then there's no reason to stay here ?
