I love the Hindus and Sikhs, they both have very caring communities also caring people,I've lived next to hindus and they would offer us food and the shop on the corner of my street is run by Sikhs and if you're skint they will let me grab the basics and tobacco if needed and will pay them off when i get paid 5:10 he's right about African people, they arent good people they are really like that here in the UK

Hindus and Sikhs indulged in violence against each other and saw communal riots in Canada in 2023. Indian govt infact has started assassinating naturalised Canadian citizens from India, who are deemed to be "threat" (tick off the hindu nationalidt govt in power). I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves). If you wish to blame someone, blame the govt of Canada and its elites. At the end of the day, they wanted cheap manual labour, and opened the gates without much consideration.

I'd honestly prefer Indians over Middle Easterners. Hindus and Sikhs aren't proselytizers and generally have a much more mellow religious vibe, unlike Muslims. Plus, Indian food is the shit, I dig curry and samosas. The thing you really have to be careful of, as is the situation with any instance of mass migration, is to be aware if newcomers are taking advantage of Western social assistance programs, like the Somalis have done with the welfare system. They need to understand that to be welcomed as new Americans, they have to work. Indians have proven to be industrious through hotels and convenience shops. I'd prefer them to Middle Easterners or certain cultures of Africans. That all being said, they should also come to understand that, having moved to a modern country, there's very little point in having massive families with ten kids. No need to endlessly spawn more people to help with chores like water fetching when you have indoor plumbing. It's an unfortunate trend a lot of migrants have trouble getting over, the endless breeding that makes locals anxious that they'll become a minority in their own country in just a few generations.

As an American, I am ignorant about Canada and its immigration policy, and so wonder how much stated in this video are lies due to racism, and how much is true? For example, the Indians who come to the US are vetted, are educated, and work hard. Since the 90s, most of the Indians who come to the US are not Punjabi Sikhs, nor are they Muslim. Punjabis came earlier, but since the tech boom, most who come are Hindus usually from Southern India. About 20% are also Christian. These Hindu and Christian Indians from Southern India are model minorities. Think of these kids who do well in the Spelling Bee. No crime, no trash, just educated hard working folks. Especially here where I am in San Jose, CA. So are these Canadians lying, or are the type of Indians who go to Canada worse? Those with fake diploomas or Sikhs claiming refugee status due to their religion and not being safe in Hindu India? Something is amiss bc how can these Indian immigrants be so different? If Canada is not vettung their immigrants why not? I also know that a coworker of mine who is from Southern India, his niece recently secured a visa to Canada and she is a Radiation Oncologist, an occupation Canada is in need of. So assumed lie the US, Canada is letting in needed skilled workers.

I felt for them Canadians, especially seeing that 19th century church being converted into a Caste-Hindu temple, no bad opinion about sikhs.. they r friendly people tortured by Caste-Hindus back in the 80's in india which lead to their mass migration for safety and Canadians helped them. Sikhs must responsibly protect Canadian values and their own community from Caste-Hindu menace especially because they openly support Imbeciles like Trump and Modi.

So the Hindu bloke claims all religions are the same. So why do they have so many statues of different gods. Ganesh the elephant is the most interesting. I guess they forgot why the Sikhs separated from Hinduism. They have never gotten along in India. The Sikhs were murdered by both Muslims and Hindus. Well the Sikhs and Hindus are giving free food to all irrespective of their race or religion. How are they as new immigrant problem for locals? I only smell racism

As a Brit, my perception of Canada only ten years ago was of lumberjacks, pine forrests, maple syrup and generally just being a cleaner, more orderly version of America. Now when I think of Canada I think of Sikhs and Hindus. Mindblowing how quickly things can change (if the powers that be facilitate it!)

The character of Kumar from Harold and Kumar go to white castle, rishi Sunak, kash Patel, the people rubbing cow manure on them and other setero type are Gujrati. The Sikh religion are AGINST conversation of ANY KING. If you are Christian, the Sikh religion says to be the best Christian as possible! In the 90's the government of Canada STOPPED allowing Panjabi farmers to come to Canada and made way for the Gujrati HINDUS. Over 100 YEARS the Sikh, Muslim and Hindus have been in Canada and NEVER asked for special treatment. Springdale was build and FIRST SETTLED by Panjabi's, who have been in nation for over 100 years. In 1947 "India" was created, again, and parts of Afghanistan and Tajikstan was taken and created Pakistan. Where is the homeland of Panjabi people? Your grandfathers are ROLLING in their graves because of the disrespect of the Panjabi people! Go look up Sikhs in ww1 and ww2. The Hindus and Sikhs I just saw in this video were genuinely kind and accommodating. They offered free food, treated the anchor and cameraman with courtesy, and showed great warmth. At the end of the day, we are all humans first. These communities work hard, take on labor, and steadily climb the ladder—there’s nothing wrong in that.

I grew up in Brampton and I immigrated from India in the early 2000s, one thing that's not mentioned is the recent (2024) riots between Sikhs and Hindus. When I was growing up in Brampton, I had friends who were Sikhs, Pakistani Muslims, Chinese Christians, Hindus, Black, and White. The Sikh seniors used to say good morning to us on the morning walks to school and everyone got along because we accepted that bringing the racial/ethnic conflict from India to Canada was wrong. Recently, there have been tensions, fights, riots, and clashes between Hindu and Sikh Nationalists because the government is not actively filtering for quality immigrants anymore and the people being lured to this country are the ones who can't understand that this is wrong. This would have been unheard of 10 years ago.

Here in England we are happy with our Indians, the Sikhs and Hindus dont bother anyone and are law abiding. I criticized the genocide of my Sikh brothers, sisters and children in riots in Delhi in 1984. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. If a Hindu policeman saves a Hindu criminal and wrongfully and falsely put a non Hindu person in jail then it’s purely wrong and discriminatory and same thing goes for a Sikh policeman. How about our soldiers, majority of our soldiers are Hindus and Sikhs, they are protecting India and it’s citizens. I can understand the world is not understanding Sikh perspective till date, but all those so called Hindu(they do know the importance of kirpan for a Sikh)but still finds a way to criticise Sikhs, even though their ancestors and themself are alive today because of Sikhs and the sacrifices made my Sikh gurus. I dont mind having punjabi, Hindus and Sikhs living in brampton they're very nice people and their food is delicious, but I will say this: in all of my life living in brampton i never experienced so many issues with driving in brampton until indian immagrants migrated to this city , and because of all the car accidents and dangerous road rage, car insurance sky rocketed and now someone like me who has never been in a car collision has to pay hundreds of dollars because of their negligent driving habbits...... my point is please be safe, focus and dont be distracted when driving.
