Tariffs will not affect anyone but the consumers thru increased inflation

I’m Canadian and I’m terrified for us as well as all the innocent people that will be affected by this. I find it curious though that past presidents haven’t made any remarks, at least that I’ve seen, about all the things Trump has done in the last six weeks. Where are the condemnations about tariffs, the way Zelensky was treated and the fact that Trump is the one letting human traffickers (allegedly) across the border? As in Andrew Tate and his brother. Trump is the one allowing criminals in. Trump is the one about to sell gold cards to anyone for $5,000,000. That will include known terrorists.

So, trump hits american companies buying stuff from columbia with a tariff. Columbia does not pay the tariff and it is not going to affect anyone but the american consumer who the american companies, who paid the hidden tax he just imposes on us, the consumer, won't actually pay in the long run because that tariff just becomes part of their cost of goods that they will add to their sales prices.

Why do you people say he hits other countries with tariffs? It doesn’t affect anyone but we the people, the consumers. So STFU ? or report the truth

Brilliant plan! Does anyone realize that all these tariffs will not affect the countries that he’s placing the tariffs on. US businesses pay for these tariffs then they pass on the cost of the tariffs to us the US citizens. Can’t wait to see how this is gonna go over.
