what truly pisses me off is losing our holidays cause they dont celebrate them. this is my country your free to come and live here but fillow the rules your not allowed to shove religion down anyone throat your suppose to prayer away cause thats your right but tp shove it down and make us a slave to a god i dont believe in? as a first nation on my land. smarten the fuck up and respect the people who allow you to run from the disgraces of your own country you dont want to help but come here to destroy. my bloodline was here first before the whites so i have a right to say what i say. and if i get hate for my free speech then you also dont belong in this country

This is done deliberately. The government does not support freedom, free speech, decency, Christian values, live and let live. They allowed the radicals, every country that does not respect the people. The global elites of which Trudeau and Carney and every politician follows along. End goal depopulation, and slavery for those who are left breathing.

As a German: respect for this speech, Mr. Trudeau. Trump's policies are a blow to the democratic world. Apparently the madman in the White House wants to come to terms with a lying murderous dictator in Moscow.

I’ve read a lot of comments from people saying “Trudeau ruined Canada” in response to people expressing their support for Trudeau in this time.\n\nThat’s not really a great point.\n\nIf Trudeau hasn’t been good for Canada, but gives a coherent, inspiring, and professional speech in this moment that unites Canadians and others alike, then that should speak so much to how awful this situation is. Huge respect to Trudeau and Canada for not backing down. I hope one day we’ll be allies with the right side of the world again.\n\nWe wanna talk about a leader ruining a country? That’s what Donald is doing right now. Except he won’t unite us in the future with a speech like this.\n\nThis American stands with Canada!

Great job representing our awesome country. This is a terrible time for Trudeau to step down. Right now he has the respect of all other counties. What am amazing speech.

So for everyone fawning over Trudeau's ability to be articulate, that is impressive to you only because the U.S. has had a piece of steamed broccoli named Biden as a figure head for the last 4 years.\nI can't say I understand Trump's strategy with respect to Canada, but I absolutely know that Trump is no Socialist like Trudeau is. I am happy to wait and see how this shakes out because Trump has been right on so, so many things. No one is perfect, not Trump and not Trudeau. Maybe it's not about drugs. Maybe Canada could offer to go back to respecting individual liberties and free speech in return for the elimination of U.S. tariffs. Sounds like something Trump would agree to.

Great speech Prime Minister. Thank you. And Donald does not deserve to be called President or even the respect to be called Mr. Trump. He is not. He is a Bully. I am glad you called him Donald. I am sure a lot of people have another name for him right now. I am a proud Canadian. I do not blame the American people. All my respect goes to Trudeau, who remained apologetic to the citizens of both countries throughout his speech. SHAME ON CNN for calling it Anti-Americanism !!! Trump picked this fight and let's not forget that ! And for NOTHING. another embarrassing moment for legacy news media that just proves either how dumb or how corrupt most are.

I was never a fan of Trudeau, but this was an exceptional speech, and I respect him for refusing to kowtow to Trump.

For the first time I actually respect a speech by Trudeau. I have not supported him in anything ever. Except for this. I actually feel proud.

I'm watching Trudeau deliver a fiery speech, addressing Trump directly. He called out policies and actions that have strained Canada-U.S. relations, emphasizing the consequences for both countries and the urgent need for respect and cooperation moving forward. We don’t want this, but here we are, facing the reality.

As an American I look forward to this trade war with Canada. I've never respected Trudeau as a leader and I don't respect him now after a speech. So please, teach me a lesson and I hope Trump retaliates further to teach you yours. This is your time to show us how wise or how foolish you are and I'm here for that. It won't take long to see either way, good luck, friend.

This comment is not address to the fine lady on the video. \n\nIf anyone not born in Canada does not like it (weather, societal values -respect towards women free decision making, towards lgbtq, love for dogs, free speech, sexual education, history, political system, taxes, government intervention, etc.) then leave! I am Living in Ottawa I am white, I lived here my whole life and now I am a minority I deal with different races all the time and I do feel that I am being pushed out of my country different ethnicities treat me with disrespect I was growing up with Canadian culture of respecting everyone around you but I fine with all these different cultures coming in I’m losing my Canadian identity and it is a lot for me to hold strong onto the values as of what the Canadian is and I’m a fourth generation Canadian I see what’s happening to our veterans I visit my grandfather every other week and I see all the different nationalities that are PSW‘s and nurses And I really mean no offence but we have a different level of respect we have a different way of talking and these different nationalities coming in they all click together and some of them they treat the men who built this country with such disrespect please listen to meand I’m really not Trying racially profile this is been happening for the last 15 years and I’m not being silent about it Canada is freedom of speech Canada is being strong enough to speak up I mean this from the bottom of my heart if you’re coming into my country that my grand parents built for me and my children can you please give my children the opportunity that you were now taking from them and I see how they treat our veterans I see how difficult it is for seniors that didn’t have a placement in our homeless I see that all of our government funding is now going to people that are now immigrating into Canada and they’re being able to start up small businesses have four bedroom townhomes in their children to schools and drive them and fancy SUVs can you look around us and see somebody sold Canada
