Ok the migrants are the ones from India, that they came to Canada and brought their way of leaving here. I came from Ecuador 44 years ago and still working but i did not bring Ecuador here , you have to respect were you are. This people come and do whatever they want and they are unrespecful. This need to be fix.

They are illegal migrants and the shackles are for the safety of deportation officers. No harm done, they will be ok. I think the next four years will drag on, time is going very slow.

If these migrants are a benefit to the diversification of a society then we are granting Mexico a gift that will keep on giving. Mexico is obviously ok with letting them across THEIR southern border so they MUST be cool with having them stay longer. This is Mexico’s big opportunity to reinvigorate their culture with a diversity of Latino cultures. Plus, most already speak the language- win! Viva La Mexico!

so canadians are ok with migrants coming to the usa.... but not canada?

It’s very sad and sick. What’s happening to people in Canada? It shouldn’t be happening they have to clean it up. I understand people fall in their lives but they gotta realize they need to not give up on life. That’s what happens now. With all the migrants they’re bringing in majority of them Are OK but they gotta bring in people that wanna work learn a trade and work for the lives. This should stop immigration for now. Our system can’t take any more of the stuff in the software for the Canadians that worked hard all their lives to deal with all this and stuff for themselves.

What the hell is wrong with people? \nIf your country needs change then guess what? \nChange it. You are the only people that can do it. Instead you allowed your home, your country, your people , to mess it all up. \nSo instead of cleaning up your messes, you discard your country and want to take from another country that doesn’t allow the nonsense all of you allowed. \nSo you want to come here to the USA to mess it all up as well? \nScrew that. Fight for your rights in your own country instead of leaving it like a discarded piece of trash. \nRemove the government and rebuild it in your own visions. \nAmerica did it and so Americans expect everyone else to do the same. \nNo excuses. Go home and clean up your mess. \nCome here and be met with constant disdain and regret on a daily basis. \nWhy everyone wants to take from strangers after destroying their own lands is just an idiotic thing of nature. \nBuild your country into your utopia. \nImagine buying land, building a beautiful house and waking up to migrants in your fridge making breakfast then seeing an encampment in your front yard of tents. \nImagine foreigners helping themselves to all of your stuff. \nThen the gaul they have to think it’s perfectly ok to take whatever they want. \nToday under these circumstances, compassion is out the window.

How is this ok? These are migrants who could possibly be serial killers/evil human traffickers & your going to let them pour into the U.S like that? No thank you! For all people saying trump was wrong for saying “Build the wall”…

When did half the world become so entitled that they think they can go wherever they want illegally?? IT IS ILLEGAL, they should be put in detention centres or jail with no freedom like the criminals they are! Stop making it ok, stop giving them the free crap they come here expecting! Jail or deportation, 95% of these people are NOT refugee’s they are illegal economic migrants who come expecting everything and we give it to them! They will never stop because they are entitled people who have no problem committing crime to get what they want, to go where they want. One boarder crossing road closing is too little too late, they’ll find another way because they have no morals. It won’t be long before Canadians are the minority in our own country. It’s madness and needs to stop. If you can’t come in legally, stay away! Illegal migrants are NOT WELCOME HERE!!!

CNN, your story is completely incorrect in every possible way. These are migrants which make them eligible for entrance into Canada to be evaluated. The police are informing them that the procedure is to be arrested and then they are lead through an evaulation process where they are assessed or denied refugee status. \n That is how refugees are supposed to be treated according to the 1951 Refugee Convention of the UN that Canada AND THE US not only signed but drew up. Nothing is in the Convention that says separating familiies is legitmate treatment, as has been done at the US southern border. \n It's OK CNN. I'm used to your feckless approach to journalism.
