Look- fentanyl is a problem but it’s not the biggest problem in the world. This fixation on drugs and illegal immigrates is wrong. We should be focused on peace and saving our planet. Top down. Trickle down humanitarianism . Money is the problem. Money and greed.

I mean he’s certainly well spoken Im sure we all can agree but factual….not so much. People do your research on Chinese Triad gang members buying up real estate in Vancouver to launder money from drug sales. There is no doubt a growing problem in Canada that is impacting the US. By the numbers Canada illegal border crossings and Fentanyl crossing volume might pale in comparison to Mexico but it’s important to note that it’s still a rising problem they’ve yet to fully understand. Look at how much of the Northern US border is unguarded compared to the southern border. This tariff war between the US and Canada is no doubt a problem but Canada is absolutely a part of the reason it exists. In the end please remember there’s always two sides to every story and mainstream media is anything but objective when it comes to how they cover them.

Trump needs to look at his own country’s fentanyl problem because America wouldn’t be having a fentanyl problem if America didn’t have the demand for the drug!!\nGood luck Trump…Hope you figure it out because America is the one that is demanding the drug and if Americans want it they usually find a way to get it…?..?

I'm usually reasonable enough to realize that while I may disagree with many policy decisions, there's usually a relatively coherent line of thought to back said actions up. The problem here is that there’s no clear logic behind using tariffs as a tool to curb fentanyl trafficking or immigration. I'm not going to speak on the issue of immigration at the Canadian border because there simply is none. Yes, there are illegals from Canada, but almost 100% of them are from overstaying visas rather than crossing the border unlawfully. So let's talk about fentanyl. \n\nMost fentanyl in the US originates from China, often in precursor form, and is then processed in Mexico before being smuggled into the states. But it's typically trafficked in small, high potency quantities, often hidden in legitimate shipments or through mail, and only on very rare occasions is it being brought in by individuals crossing the border. It has _never_ been documented to have shipped in as part of large scale commercial imports, so a 25% tariff on legal trade with Canada and Mexico doesn’t directly target the black market supply chain at all.\n\nIf we take Trump’s reasoning at face value, the argument seems to be that he wants to exert economic pressure on Mexico and Canada as a means of having them crack down harder on drug trafficking networks. But the issue is that fentanyl simply isn’t coming in through mass import channels, so all this looks like is a punitive measure without a clear mechanism to actually achieve its stated goal. And the implications? Drastically higher costs for consumers in the US, Canada, and Mexico, with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Lets see Trump talk like this to his people....It's hard to deal with someone who is constantly changing the goal-posts on the fentanyl crisis (whatever that is...)to other petty things. Trump is a very dumb person, who really is not in control of his administration. Musk is the real guy running the show going by what he's been doing. As a Canadian, Americans have always been looked at as my friends who I would have no problem standing beside if things went real bad. your Mussolini dictator is not doing anything good for your country, he is trashing it before your eyes.\nSo long comrades, enjoy the free vodka provided by Russia.

Another note regarding fentanyl, as an American I do not see it as a Canadian/Mexican problem. Canada nor Mexico want to sell Fentanyl. Drugs are a United States problem. We, citizens of the United States are the problem. It’s time to look at ourselves instead of blaming the rest of the world. Lets stop being the worlds largest drug market.

Trudeau has resigned, and soon he is leaving. So what will be his last gift?\nHe is leaving the coming government in an economic fight of retaliation. \ninstead of leaving them on a negotiation table on how to resolve the illegal immigrants problem and fight against fentanyl drugs. \nI would prefer to find solutions on these two issues because there won't be any tarrif or money involved. but if they are starting a fight with Trump. It might involve a lot of things.\nJust look at how he frozen the federal government funds, so pick up a retaliation fight and see where it will end. \nLearn from the Colombian President. What do you have to lose? \nI FORESEE CANADA AND MEXICO ECONOMIES COLLAPSING. YOU WILL TELL ME I WAS RIGHT. DON'T FIGHT TRUMP WITH STUPIDITY OF RETALIATION.

This is nothing short of an INVASION AT OUR BORDERS!! I can guarantee you that if we had responsible voting laws in this country just as simple as having an ID and proving American Citizenship, we wouldn’t be having this problem. Democrats don’t want those laws, and Democrats DONT WANT TO STOP what’s going on at the border, bcuz these are votes for them. The most utterly ridiculous myth about voter ID laws is that they’re racist due to low income families not being able to afford them. ANYONE with common sense knows that BULL$Hit, bcuz literally every state in the US has programs that’ll provide FREE IDs and help to get there. It’s time to stop blaming the government, and start blaming those that are the cause of this, the VOTERS that put the POSs in office. The Fentanyl epidemic and the blood of those that have lost their lives, is on the hands of the same VOTERS. Time to focus and rally against the ones that are the REAL reason for all of this. In fact, let the numbers tell you what changed. Look at the #s before 1/21 and now. People may lie, but the numbers never do!
