As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.

Is this turban people from pakistan? pakistan has this people and also named as punjab, In order to promote terrorism in India and to intrude India's internal affairs , Canadian government let the Sikh immigrants to enter illegally in favour. Similarly british government let Pakistanis illegally inside to trouble for kashmir issue. People has to question their poltiicans and remove if they entered illegally ...

India is currently exporting far too many people to Canada. The mass immigration into Canada is causing huge problems throughout the country. Canadian people are angry because the mass immigration is destroying wages, causing a massive housing crisis and mass inflation on food and everything.\n\nThis is not purely the fault of the Indian people... It is mostly the fault of politicians, corrupt profiteers from cheap imported labour and immigrants entering Canada through false pretenses and illegal entry. Because India is the largest exporter of immigrants into Canada it makes them the easiest group to target.\n\nWhen you add the attacks on established Canadian culture it really stirs up the worst in people. An example that really angers many Canadians is the turban. This may be a part of Indian culture but when people immigrate to Canada and demand to become police and command Canada to change their police uniform for their incoming culture. Imagine Canadian workers entering India and calling the turban racist and demanding they be banned from public view? Would the Indian people accept Canadians if they demanded India change to make them more comfortable there?

I didn't know about the thing of the sik'hi knife that might be carried around public places in many countries. I thought the cop arrests the guy for wearing a turban ?\nThen I thought the thing is only mistakenly looked like a knife for some people from a specific perspective at a quick sight.\nBut if there's a real sharp weapon, then law makers and law enforcement have nothing to apologize for by limiting the use of this object and they don't have to explain the law, that should be limiting all citizens equally for their safety. They might know or not know the story of the symbol. Knife carried from point to point for making salads must be in a closed package, that's how I know the rule here in Israel. \nI wish more people would carry non lethal weapons, and that I could protect myself and still letting the judge decide later if my attacker should be punished physically, when anyway I'm ending this scene safe and...how you say? Sound? Like of music??\nI wish all humans can find the way to respect the peace, each others and the superior - in a way that can be agreed as good for all

Because currently this Modi government introduced our selves as a Khalistani or Atankvaadi. Every punjabi who wear a turban is donated as a Khalistani. This image is created by this government in the whole India. We are very weak now our economy our culture is in danger zone. political peoples destroyed us on the basis of religion. Unemployment is on peak but nobody watching us except this Khalistani badge. Every sikh is not khalistani. just imagine if any person who gives harms to the mandir how will you accept it?\nWe are very possessive about our religion A punjab gives food to every people of India or the world because our gurus teach us that. but nobody care for us. All of them just pinch the nerve of our religion for votes and if you know punjabies are paying 20 lakh₹ to go for canada today. because of these issues. i want to say this to whole India “Guys please come out of this religious war these political peoples just dividing us. You guys knows that before modi in India there was not any issue of Hindu/Sikh or muslim. Because they needs votes for 2024 elections that’s why they are using this method” So, pls I request to the every indian support the india do not divide India?
