As a brown guy who is born and raised here, not every brown person is Indian. There are Guyanese, Trinidadians, Sri Lankans, Bengali, Nepali etc people that are in no way related, linguistically, culturally or religiously to people from Punjab that have been here decades and respect the land, the culture and learn English. The majority of the mass migration as of late has come from one state in India. Many are good people, but many try to make Canada the home they left. Too bad the rest of us south asians and west indians are painted with this broad brush.

Indians and South asians are majority of Brampton total population.

I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. Most of them are South Asians but they are Canadians, not indians. Just like you are caucassian and Canadian, white people also originally didnt exist in this land. This video screams racism. Almost all of the people you see are legal immigrants , the government gives half a million PRs every year.

It’s high time we bring rouge Indian tourists to book , there is no doubt we are the most uncivilized tourists in the world , be it in civil behaviour , littering, getting drunk in the flight and after landing..and mostly undocumented and illegal immigration. You see our compatriots peddling momentos, food delivery, hard labor , and almost any job that locals don’t like to do, the result is we get typecasted as an impoverished , rogue elements ..of their there are many south Asians in west but most of them blend well with local society and maintain decorum. As a south asian I fully support the rejection. Unfortunately a lot of Indians are giving south asians a bad name and reputation world wide

So called upper caste indians and brahmins who are complaining about racism in usa canada are practicing untouchability discrimination racism with Dalits in india. Also enjoys reservation called affirmative action provided to south Asians in cisco Google wallmart nasa etc are talking against reservation to sc st obcs in india.

I'm an immigrant who came here with my family on a sponsorship program in 2008. Never got in trouble, worked two jobs and busted our asses off to get the citizenship in 2014. What has happened to Canada under Trudeau's incompetent government with his mass immigration policies and taking in low-class South Asians who do nothing but scam their way to the top is nothing but a tragedy. Canadian-born citizens are waking up and hate is brewing against Indians and Muslims.

Punjabi and Sikhs are overlapping so are Hindus and Indians. Pakistani is not an ethnicity.Who compiled this data don't know anything about south Asians :D. This is so dumb.

Your perspective about making this country filthy and with all your convictins you are pointing your finger towards Indians. Shame on you, did you forget about other South Asians who go to Osaga Beach as well. And they go there to clear their bowel movement. Wow! What a conclusion you came up with. ?

Good move by Canada! If the immigration happens at his rate Canada will turn into another India! Most Indians and South Asians come as students but come with immigrant intention! Plus they come with a condition that they will leave once their studies are over. So those who are protesting arent clearly holding their end of the bargain. Should be deported immediately!

New indians have to realize that they are hated more by African , Filipino and other south east Asians than whites....amd as others have commented Old school Indian Canadians. To the Kahlastanis you are not just pissing off white Canadians

Indo Canadian here, there are sure a lot of Indians here. I'll be very candid with my opinion, it's not hate as much as it's fact. And this doesn't just apply to Indians but South Asians they refuse to assimilate, don't understand social cues, are very misbehaved and now it's like there is a wave of anti Indian sentiment (mostly from Anglo Canadians).

This is really sad! Ideally, this should never have happened. But Canadian natives are very frustrated with the sheer number of Indians overpopulating the country and degrading their quality of life. Trudeau has completely messed up Canada with his terrible policies. And the problem is that they are welcoming only Indians/South Asians, no other ethnicity. When you invite low skilled population from a specific country in MILLIONS, it's a recipe for ethnic resentment! We also know that a lot of Indians are not the best representatives globally because of the lack of respect for people and their surroundings. This results in the natives lashing out on innocent people who are just trying to get by. It's just a messed-up situation from all the sides. Don't go to Canada guys, it's not worth it. Especially if you go there to participate in gig economy and achieve nothing of value.

I visited Toronto and took pictures of the city. In my pictures, there was no white Canadian and mostly south Asians. I live in Australia and we have Indians here too. To be honest I don’t mind them. But Canada is another level. Where are the Anglo Canadians?

I would like to ask 1 question. When I see lots of videos about people leaving Canada and all. Why is that South Asians especially Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are so desperate to go Canada when majority of the people living in Canada are fed up of living there and want to move out.
