here in my city in ontario canada.. we are just flooded with immigrants. im talking muslim and indian.. theres so many of them here buying up properties and houses and getting shiny new cars that it doesnt even feel like canada anymore. they get benefits from the government while other people born in this country have to suffer. hell i walked into a tim hortons and everyone working there is either muslim or indian. i walk into a grocery store and it feels so awkward because i feel like im in another country half the time with all the foreigners there..

It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. Meanwhile I apply to countless jobs and don’t get one call back in 2 years with experience. Don’t even get me started on housing..

My mother came to Canada in 1965 with her family. She learned how to speak english by watching kids shows on TV. She had 4 girls by 1979. She could speak fluent English by that time. We lived in low rentals with other immigrants. It was all about one another. The many different cultures came together and shared. We were all dirt poor, but we all accepted one another for who we are. No one was better than another. Every kid I grew up with was a tried and true Canadian. Every single one became a citizen if they weren't born here. We all learned from one another. This Canada? It's not the Canada I know. I was born in Ontario. Many of my family members are still there. They're looked down upon. What? They're Canadians but they're looked down upon for being in that same small town. It's Sad. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

We went to leave Canada too and both my husband and I were born and raised in Canada. We even moved from southern Ontario to Saskatchewan to Alberta. It is so unsustainable and sad to see that the government doesn’t care about their citizens. I was born and raised in brampton. I am now 41 years old. When i was 20 i remember when the indians started to come into brampton they were taking our jobs because they would work for minium wage without benefits. Then they stated to buy the houses and bring in their families they had like 10 to 20 people living in one house, so only needing to work for minium wage they were able to purchase the houses faster. Everything has pesticides, hormones, and by the time fruit and vegies arrive here from the US all the nutrition have gone. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. The people of Canada who work and pay highest taxes are used to house these newcomers and education, jobs, food and money. Our government take better care of these illegal people than their own people especially our youth. So please let us not pretend Canada is a land of opportunity and great. I immigrated to Canada in 1981 because I married a Canadian I should say French Canadian girl and it was just a better place for her to continue on with her background. We relocated to Ottawa which is bilingual and made it very easy for both of us to assimilate together. I moved back to the USA in 2006 to help my sick brother and move back again to Canada in 2016. I came back for many reasons. The political Edge in the united states, the guns out of control, the increased crime rate daily, in just too many people everywhere. Now I was living in the Tampa Bay area and a lot of the people come from out of state and out of country especially in the winter to spend their cold months in the sunshine. Some things I miss in the United States comes usually down to the cost of living. Unless you get sick. And I miss living by the Gulf of Mexico. Except during hurricane season. I prefer living in Canada only because it's a slower easier paced social environment. It has nowhere near the political stress that the United States has where it can almost be violent. Actually, where it has been violent. Revisit January 6th. Out of control guns with hot-headed men mostly can force you out as well and back to Canada. Canada's social structure and environment supersedes the United States tenfold. And of course as we get older, Healthcare is a priority. I'm thankful there's a place like Canada close to where I was born or I can spend the rest of my life enjoying it as opposed to looking over my shoulder constantly. I also find that Canadians have a huge appreciation of warm months. So many people are outside even when they are eating at restaurants. Because of the warmer months are so short, Canadians really take advantage of enjoying it and those months are never taken for granted. Winters in Ontario, like here in Ottawa, can be very cold once January and February come around. But once you make it into the middle of march, you can almost smell spring in the air and somewhere on the way. But there are those dreaded 8 weeks of oh my God ?

My father moved us to upstate NY in 1957 when I was 9 years old, me kicking and screaming all the way. I was devastated to be leaving Canada, and now at 77, I've decided this life-long yearning to return to my birthplace has to become reality. I've started the process, hoping I may gain some points because I'm a former citizen :) . I still have lots of family in several provinces; people I haven't seen since we were children, and some of us are great-grandparents now. I was born in B.C. but moved to Ontario when I was a young child. I always wanted to go back, so finally I did in retirement, settling in Kelowna, in the Okanagan. It was paradise and I loved it there. However, my husband had to move into a nursing home this year, and I was forced to sell our house, deciding to move to Calgary, Alberta. So far I like Calgary a lot. I'm used to the snow, coming from Ontario, but I miss Kelowna like crazy. At least my husband is still there, and it's only a short flight for me to go and visit him.

I was born in Quebec, moved to BC and then too Ontario. You should ask why so many of us left Quebec (the last place I would want to live ) why I left BC (most woke province ) and settled in Ontario. I love Atlantic Canada but only as a place to visit. I would move to Alberta for it's politics but not it's weather.

The current government increased immigration to have them beholding to them and so they get votes. If that is the attitude that people have coming here on a temporary Visa. 33 years ago I had a temporary work reason to work in the UK I worked six days a week paid rent paid bills and we built a business that hired other people and put money back into the economy. The cost of housing for a room is $1000 a month outside of the city, basement apartment is 2000 and Condo, one bedroom and den is about 3000. I’m not sure what jobs students are expecting when employment is not at all-time high and the healthcare system is already strained and failing people that need vital surgeries. Seniors are waiting three months for an MRI and students that were born here are having trouble finding employment because entry jobs are given to immigrants we are approaching UK and Ireland crisis levels, it’s not about racism. YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. There's so much more than just saying you feel unloved by the people you're taking things from for their children and grandchildren and generations without showing any respect as that is defined as selfish. I would respectfully point out that in my opinion the problem is that too many immigrants from one particular culture (in this case, Indians, but it's also the Chinese,) have been allowed in to settle almost entirely in one particular area of a city. In Ontario it's Brampton. In B.C. (where I live) it's Surrey. This stretches Canada's resources, having classrooms almost full of Indian kids who are learning English as a second language. For years we've had to put up with young Indian males street racing in their expensive cars on our cities late at night... to their mothers they are 'princes,' and they act like it and believe they can do exactly as they like. Then there's the issue of how many of their extended family members are also allowed in - resulting in way too many elderly Indians who don't speak a word of English and probably never will, so we have to provide translation services for them in our hospitals and govt. offices. The other issue I have a problem with is there's a tendency with Indians to 'skirt the rules.' There have been a few significant accidents on our highways caused by young Indian male drivers operating huge rigs which they are ill-equipped to drive, which seems to indicate they got their licences fraudulently. There's also been an increase in so-called 'honour killings' (e.g. MURDER!) as well as young girls being subjected to FGM (Female Genital Mutilation.) As an immigrant myself, born and raised in the UK, I'm used to living among Indians, and in fact have always really liked them (and especially their food, which definitely improved the British restaurant scene!) but it's time to limit the numbers. I'm the son of an immigrant and I'm telling you that immigration has gotten out of control. Scrap the all TFW programs, forget just low wage jobs you have PGWP's being hired as financial representatives, insurance brokers, marketing managers, etc... at a host of businesses which are jobs there are TONS of qualified Canadians for or could be easily trained to do allowing them to gain valuable experience to improve their standard of living. No, instead this government focused on importing more foreigners and now we have a housing crisis, an unemployment rate of 7.1% in Ontario alone (4.5% is considered healthy and the government wants to keep bringing in more people into low wage jobs as long as it stays under 6% which is a complete joke). If you are born and/or raised Canadian and have been here since you were a kid you MUST stand against this, I assure you that this nonsense is robbing you of a better future all to appease corporate greed by suppressing wages and forcing employees to stay in careers/jobs forever out of fear they can't find any other work.

Walked the amazing city of Toronto across Bloor, down Yonge to King Street across to Bathurst yesterday afternoon. No issues at all. Seems like the Toronto i was born and raised in. Saw a concert then walked from Ontario Place up to King and across to University between 11:00pm to around 12:30. Smiled as I saw countless couples sitting on benches enjoying the cities energy. Bars were busy. Women waiting for buses, going to walks, grocery runs. Subway was busy for 1am with every walk of life, including four 4 20 something young women heading back home after a night out.\n\nLove my city.\n\nSad some people don't get to know her and just bag on her for political reasoning.

As a 42 year old Canadian (born & raised).. lived in Northeastern Ontario my entire life. Canada is unrecognizable. I miss the country I grew up in. Heck, I'd even take a version of the country I can vividly remember from a mere 20 years ago. Justin Trudeau and the liberals have destroyed this Country. I was born and raised in Canada in a town in Ontario along one of the Great Lakes Lake Erie. My parents and even their parents were born and raised in that same area I am from and Canada was a great place but since Justin Trudeau become PM everything started to change and not in a slow unnoticeable way it was fast. Drugs and homelessness started to become a thing something I have never seen in my life and even my neighbourhood and town started to change too with people that don't speak english and wait times in the ER started to be so much longer and even finding a doctor when I moved to the city was impossible to get. I have not traveled much only in a car or truck and never been on a airplane but I am considering moving out of Canada too. I am going to wait and see what happens in the election and see if things begin to charge before I leave the only place I know and start new somewhere else. I have been thinking of Southeast Asia like Laos or Thailand because there Canadian funds are worth something and you can live and at for very cheap and get a very nice place for half or less of what rent is here.

As a 32 year old male born in Kitchener, Ontario. This mass immigration is killing our country. With so many immigrants from India that (as a whole, not every Indian) do NOT assimilate to Canada and our culture has us pretty upset. It’s making our housing crisis worse and killing our economy. Canada is not the same country I grew up in and it’s changing fast before our very eyes. We are losing our image, identity and our culture. For my argument, we get called a racist for pointing this out about the mass Indian immigration. They immediately combat us saying “look what you did to the natives” like come on… The truth is, we’d call out anyone else from any other country.

It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

They all immigrate to PEI because it is the quickest way to seek citizenship in the country, as soon as they gain it they move to Ontario. I have met many wonderful people from India through work and because of our government choosing to allow so many people over here without providing proper housing for not only the new immigrants, but also for our own native born citizens, there is nothing available at any decent price for young people like myself who want to move out from their parents homes. It's also causing a lot of people to be racist towards Indians when the fault truly lies in our government. And because we are allowing so many people over here without proper background checks and things such as that we are also allowing people over here that could pose a threat to women or others. I had a cab driver last week (who was from India) who tried to hit on me and told me he left India because he was getting into too many physical fights over in India and also told me he had gotten into physical fights with some of his customers as well. It was scary for me as a woman to be in a car with that man who was taking me to my home. The government needs to do better for us. We feel alone and ignored when it comes to this. The greed pushing this stupid, and not properly thought out, immigration policy needs to be put to an end so that the people who have lived here their whole lives can get a chance at life.

canadian here, born and raised in ontario, you literally cant go anywhere without seeing indian people celebrating their culture in our streets, they're literally taking up city centers, blasting music and dancing, the people being let in are very uncivilized, unhygienic and its to the point where the immigrants that came here to get away from those people are tired of it too. i cant find a job because an indian has taken it, i cant speak out on issues in public because its a possible hate crime, and i cant even choose a PM that will do anything abt it because both are supporting it, we're screwed.
