As a tax payer and as a traveller I buy my own travel insurance when travelling out of Canada!! Other than what I am covered by Alberta Health Care-I pay my own dental, vision, chiropractic, massage, MRI I have to wait months or pay for speed myself, I pay for my own Prescriptions!! I am 64 years old and have been paying income tax for 46 years I don’t get squat from the government!! It burns my butt that refugees come and get put up in a hotel, fed and are given thousands of dollars per year on my hard earned money!! The libtards have abused their power to spend CANADIANS money!!

Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

6:35 - the woman right mentioned the state of mind and the practices of the "new immigrants". I have been living in the United States. In States where there are fewer of outsiders, they have love and respect for these communities, but travel or live in TX, CA, NJ and the likes and you see the friction - the reason we see is the new ones don't follow the laws as strictly, don't respect the local practices as simple as yielding to cars or pedestrians, queuing up in stores, etc. They don't do that in their home countries so they assume it is what they are going to do and locals who built the country with a lot of effort don't like it.

The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. So before they cross into the US they toss their IDs Especially if they are from countries that are flagged by the US as questionable or terrorist possibilities. So this leads to a lot coming to Canada. I'm sure you heard of Roxham Rd crossing? It's officially closed but people still cross into Canada from the US going through there. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. Canada & many other countries are Allies of America & while he's talking about tariffs & goodness knows what (I did watch his talk in Congress), at least respect your Allies. We Americans have been mistreated by Canadians for a long time especially in Quebec. Hunters and fishermen who travel there have been harassed because we are Americans. Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. Canada does not close it's boarders to those who wish to leave, nor does the United States close it's boarders to those who wish to leave. The United States is free to put up a wall and a boarder crossing anywhere you wish, stop whoever you want to stop from entering your country. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. It is not only about the Tariffs on Canada, who Used to be your friends, it is about your new friend Russia, who support Terrorist organizations all over the world, including the ones in Gaza who held Americans Hostage, who supports IRAN who supports Russia in murdering and raping women, kidnapping children in Ukraine, torturing and murdering citizens with their hands tied behind their backs. As a Canadian - Trumps 'brilliance' has done one thing for sure, it's aligned all of the provinces against our neighbor and former ally the United States. It's done something we ourselves have had difficulty with - gaining support from Quebec. The overwhelming vast majority of Canadians don't trust the US anymore, as the legal justification for the tariffs is absolute bull, and is a pretext for Trumps actions. My family has cancelled all US travel, in my case 2 trips this year worth 15K to the US. I will miss Vegas for my 60th. I live in a small community in Utah, 165 miles south of Salt Lake City. I can't imagine how the legal immigrants feel there in NYC. Even here, they are being pushed out by the illegals, willing to work for poor wages, and living 30 people to a travel trailer on BLM ground. The liberal ideology is destroying the hard working legal immigrants families, and forcing them out. Liberal propaganda is chuck full of lies and far less than logical. NYC, San Francisco , Portland, Los Angeles, and Seattle have become shizholes because of it. Time to wake up!

I would assume the increased legal consequences would skew the new illegal border crossings from migrants looking for work so they can raise their kids in a country with more economic oppurtunities to a higher percentage of criminals mixed in. I've had some completely institutionalized friends in Baltimore and can say that the bouncing in and out of prison/ have most exciting/chaotic situations/ brag to your friends while you pass the time locked up/ all around adrenaline rush is going to make that crowd see the conseqences as a nuicense and an exclusive challenge. Sort of the same reason that before consumer space travel, some people that grew up absurdly wealthy would do really foolish things to brag about, like climb MT Everest.

How are the buses doing this? if Canadians travel on buses they have to stop at the border and show the authorities their passports. Matter of fact you have to show passport on any bus that is going to cross the border. I have seen people jerked right off a bus that did not qualify at the border. So how in the heck is this happening??

I am always amazed at how these poverty stricken people have so much funds to enter the US illegally but somehow don’t have the funds to follow immigration laws, complete the documents and pay the filing fees. People can come from all over the world to enter illegally yet how many Americans can afford to travel to a foreign country?

Unfortunately, the Indian tourists I've seen in Thailand have shown little respect and dont follow the rules. I saw many times tourists throwing their garbage onto the beach or making a mess and leaving it. I also saw Indian men approaching married women who were with their families and treating them prostitutes, It was disgusting behaviour. If that happened in India, there would be outrage. I believe etiquette must be taught before these types of people are allowed to travel representing your country.

These people are desperate, can you imagine things being so bad in your own country that you travel thousands of miles to try to get into another one that promises a better life? It truly is sad for those who have empathy. Perhaps the United States should tackle the immigration problem by trying to make things better in other countries so those folks don't feel in need to cross over into America. Instead of stopping us aid helping other countries, and waging and supporting wars in other countries, the USA could take a different approach and actually help the world become a better place. It's crazy I know, but it just might help.

People move to countries with wild dreams fantasising that everything will be easier and they will be richer. A lot of people just can't adapt to a new country. Some do extremely well. I know a lot of entrepreneurs that have gone to the US and Canada to start businesses and then they move back to their countries in South America or India to live an amazing lifestyle and travel a lot. I suppose it's nice to accumulate wealth faster and know that you have a Canadian passport to fall back on if you need to get out? I'm part first nations. I do not live in Canada for related reasons - but I love my country and what we stand for.

My visa was not rejected. US officials across the US and during travel I met, all have been so nice. All you have to be normal, honest, and truthful before them.

Why travel elsewhere? I have lived and worked in 12 different countries and figured that India has much more to travel and see within...Not many countries can match the diverse landcapes; Himachal/ Uttranchal, Kerala, North east, Goa, Rajasthan. You have hills, beaches, desert covered without a need of passport and Visa..

I pray the USA can get rid of all illegal aliens out of our country. In the military, I was in different countries, so I had the opportunity to travel. Guess what I always had to show my passport and declare how long I would be in the country. Never once did I try to break their laws. When you are breaking the law, you should have consequences!

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

The main reason is, that Indians do not want to go back to their country, and we Indians are so smart that we play the Western law against western countries to remain in foreign land. We are losing their trust. It's not about the passport index but it is about trust. Western countries mostly run on trust. If you get a chance to travel there, you'll understand what I am talking about, example, they trust people will not break the law at signals so they don't have police at signals, the airport has no security at the entrance gate, etc.

This news is unfortunate but we cannot deny the fact that majority of Indians lack civic sense. The poor and the lower middle class who lack civic sense are not the problem. Sorry for the prejudice, but they rarely plan to travel abroad. The problem is with the middle class (and even rich) Indians who have the money to travel abroad but lack even basic civic sense.\n\nThis is very unfortunate, but I have seen this with my own eyes.

Losing millions of dollars isn’t because countries reject visas unfairly—it's because applicants often fail to submit legitimate travel intentions, provide dodgy documents, lack sufficient funds, or have a bad travel history. If you fulfill all the required documents and meet the criteria, I don't think there will be any visa rejections. Also, the Henley Passport Index is based on IATA data and is updated quarterly. It ranks passports by visa-free access, not by a country’s economic size—so being the 5th largest economy doesn’t automatically mean better rankings.

The reason is that some Indian finds it difficult to integrates.\n\n I know one Indian lady that have lived in one country for over 20 years and the lady cannot speak the language of that country. What a shame! \n\nSecondly, many of them like to dominate or discriminate against other people. It has been alleged that some Indian people discriminate against others in many places they work. For instance! Where their people are in charge in Canada, they will not offer jobs to none Indian. If an illegal immigrants is found anywhere in India, the name of that person is sorry. Too many foreigners are in India prisons for minor offence or immigration matters. Do business with your own people. Less than an year ago you mentioned, in Oxford, that based upon your ‘personal yet unquantifiable’ experience at the UK border sic ‘where Indians were flaunting their passport and NONE of them in the self doubt of past century. the Immigration officer was a fan of India’? \n\nThen, your personal anecdotal account at an International stage doesn’t represent a tiny bit of reality. In most of the Schengen country we are called a ‘third world’ at immigration and always looked with a doubt. You dont have to travel these countries to get beyond your personal experience but just have a look at the queue at the US embassy in Delhi, and the way one is treated, you would have had your data. \n\nAnd now, in this video you say that a similar Immigration officer is denying visa to Indians. \n\nWhat changed in 8months?

People coming from some of the states in India such as Haryana, Gujrat, Punjab should be banned or scrutinized from traveling abroad, their only purpose to travel is to put refugee in other country and stay in other country illegally. There are many people who don't have proper documentation and also have fake documents, these people affects other genuine people who want to travel. Also the young people who just studied their intermediate or 12th class should also be banned from travel from the above mentioned states to travel abroad for studies. Moreover, People from these states don't know their manners in other country and don't know how to live or stay as per the culture of other country and fail to follow the basic manners and rules. I hate to say it but this is the truth.

I have travelled to almost 40 countries and have never been rejected for any visa - US, UK, Schengen etc. Reason being, I am a law abiding traveller who respects the rules & regulations of the countries I travel to. I furnish all documents honestly at the visa center. I arrive & leave the foreign countries as permitted on my visa. Traveler's with a clean & honest travel history should have no problems at all.

The process for Visa and the backup documents is pretty transparent and available at the country's or VFS website. I have been travelling to Europe and my visa has not been rejected. But I still do see a lot of people not understanding the process, documentation required. The documentation is usually about proof of stay, proof of travel and proof of financial strength. Please do not talk about the 5th largest economy. We are 143rd in GDP per capita. Among the illegal immigrants into USA India ranks third, to the UK it ranks 9th and is a significant number into the EU. With immigration a hot topic in the west today, this was inevitable.

West Wont Answer what Madam ? Why they Rank Indian Passport so low???? I am an Indian who is living in Canada, we Indians really need lessons on honor decency professionalism and credibility, they have ruined Canada upside down, thrash everywhere unethical real estate trades, peeing on the road , pooping in the river ,my god the list goes on, as an indian myself i am feeling so much embarrassed , only assimilating high professional and character Indians should be allowed to travel abroad, i am glad that they are rejecting and the passport rating is so low

We have like idiots and uncultured people outside. We shout like idiots, treat the locals poorly. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. I had to look elsewhere in shame and hated for being born in India among such people. \n\nSo yeah, learn from Japanese or Thai or other well cultured people to behave well, be kind, have humility before asking for travel ease.

Being indian i was put into severe check and questions by immigration officers at Hong kong, Macua and Japan though i have decent travel history...this is due to indians have reputation of over staying in the past in Dubai / Malaysia/ Singapore with tourist visa. As indians we have to blame ourselves. They check are we genuine traveller and have sufficient funds to meet our Travel expenses i see nothing wrong in that.

I am a cruise ship worker and i travel US and canada every year . In 2023 i had my joining at dry dock in spain . And i was in Schengen visa center in kolkata . There i meet one sardar ji . He was their for the tourist visa and he told me , all his family members in Canada but his visa 7 times got rejected by the canadian authority. Now he want to get a tourist visa for spain and he have a plan to not come back . And he was telling me all those thing with extremely loud voice in front of the visa application center. Just imagine How crazy that was ?

Western Countries have become increasingly discriminatory towards Indians especially ..they are more busy granting asylum to Caliphate coming from all over across borders ....\n\n\nSo shove the ranking ...\nThe issue is open and pure discrimination against Indians.\n\nA handful of Indians break rules agreed .\n.but a majority have economic power and just want to travel ...the majority is become a victim of the minority idiots as usual ....(Take a Hint ) ...\n\nI am a British Citizen I followed process procedures and got my Citizenship screw visas I was never in my life denied a visa as I was truthful ...\n\nPoints are many the wise will understand ...

Well it's hard to get a visa nowdays even if you want to travel nowdays I got mine rejected giving me irrelevant reason \nI have booked everything and planned everything still it happened

This is what’s happened to pretty girls I the west. The world makes them believe they can travel a lot, have sex with many men without any consequences. Now, she is old, has no own family, most likely no money, pretty but old and chubby and now she has no idea what to do…..

I am a senior and live in Vancouver, BC and my son who has dual citizenship lives in Seattle, WA. His wife and him will move back to Canada when he retires. I visit Seattle and enjoy going there. The shopping is great fun especially with all the big store headquarters being there and we can't forget Trader Joe's. I don't drink alcohol anymore, but the cost, volume and availability is crazy. He also lived in New York and lived a train ride away to the suburbs (great system) and was a lovely area to raise a family. Visited NYC and loved it. I've lived in Montreal and just love big cities. In saying all that, I think were all basically the same, however I could never permamentally live in the US. I can no longer afford the outrageous travel health insurance to travel to the USA because of my age and health issues. I have a primary doctor and four specialists that I see on a regular basis, waiting for a hip replacement and none has cost me a cent. Oh yes, I get free dental care. I wouldn't move to the states, but would sure like to visit again. Politics is a whole other subject.
