My parents immigrated in the early 90s and I was born in Canada. It’s very hard to relate to the new immigrants in the last 10 years because we’re so different. The families that immigrated in the 80s and 90s had to assimilate and become “Canadian” which in hindsight was for the best. I learned about my culture and language at home, but my parents, emphasized the importance of being “Canadian first” and being a part of society and “fitting in.” This wasn’t at all a bad thing. I learned to ski, skate, make ice lollies with snow and syrup, went camping, played sports… I feel embarrassed when Indians are looked at in this light, but its true. 90% of this new wave of immigrants on “student visas,” dont intend to actually obtain any sort of an education, instead they use it as a pathway for permanent residency. I know this because I have relatives who say this out loud behind closed doors. I don’t agree with any of it, and quite frankly it’s very embarrassing, but most of us first generation Indian Canadians feel very upset about how its all played out and the negative light in which our people are now viewed under. Personally, I agree they arent interested in becoming culturally Canadian, they just want to be in Canada for financial reasons. They stay in their groups, dont integrate and think somehow this will play out well. It isnt discrimination when your own people also feel this way. I have yet to meet a first gen Canadian who disagrees

Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I mean, we are the first generation with cell phones so things aren’t gonna go well for the first generation so I hope to see change in the next, but I really hate the racism. Because at the end of the day, this world belongs to all of us. I’m married to a Punjab. And I’m very thankful I met him feel like a lot of Canadian men. Have become victims to the red pill ideology or cell phones are really just becoming a part of their ideologies. Indian families bring back real love and authenticity. My only problem is the criminals that are coming into the country that are hurting people when we already have enough problems in our own country.

5:50 I agree, I'm thankful the government is starting to revoke / cancel visas to try to get a handle on things. This goes beyond just Indian people. It's for all people that immigrate to our country. I agree, I think if people come to my country, they need to assimilate. Learn our languages, understand our culture and integrate. I feel that they need to create another sector to follow up on visas, check in on people, monitor. I also feel the banks need to monitor the amount of money people are sending back home, I understand some money. But not everything.

I feel like a foreigner in Toronto for sure, especially my area. The Indian population skyrocketed when Trudeau decided to solve one problem by creating another (I'm being polite here). Good riddance to him, but the problems remains, bringing with it cockroaches and bedbugs (the latter of which was not a problem until their arrival.. just sayin'...). Fortunately for me I can afford to live in a more affluent area, but I see what is happening. Every.. and I mean EVERY service here... is now run by Indians. I'm not a racist.. but I AM a classist (and saying what we are all thinking), and the class that came over in droves the last 10 years are turning this place into the slum they came from.

here in my city in ontario canada.. we are just flooded with immigrants. im talking muslim and indian.. theres so many of them here buying up properties and houses and getting shiny new cars that it doesnt even feel like canada anymore. they get benefits from the government while other people born in this country have to suffer. hell i walked into a tim hortons and everyone working there is either muslim or indian. i walk into a grocery store and it feels so awkward because i feel like im in another country half the time with all the foreigners there..

All these comments are correct. We are all sick and bloody tired of what is going on in once a beautiful country here in cal Gary Alberta Canada, especially the Northeast quadrant of the city. It is nothing but people from India. They're Punjab, people from Nigeria, Africa, and the Philippines, and in my experience. I am a blind, white single woman who owns my condo and a perfect parking spot for 8 years. I have bean horrifically harassed, buy these people. Because I would not bow down to their demands to give them my parking stall. They used the Calgary city police as weapons against me. Calling them and telling them I am a child molester, because I was Videoing in public videoing, taking evidence Of what is going on around here? Witches, my constitutional right? They called the cops telling them, I am a racist, a drug dealer, and a killer. They almost we're successful in having my nephew arrested telling the police that he hit their little cockroaches. With his car, the black cop that I invited into my home stupidly. Was Very hot and waning arrest both of us, but there was no damage on the car. No damage on their little cockroaches, no charges, but the black cop 2 hours later cold because he wanted my nephew's license plate number. He was probably trying to catch him driving dirty, but never called back. So he didn't find anything. These people have threatened to shoot me. They have threatened big consequences. They have threatened to slap the f out of me. They have threatened to pop the pimples out of my eyes. And when they found out that I was blind, that's when they ramped up the harassment, the cops did nothing about the threats towards me when they told the cops that we I threatened to kill them. They are the ones that threaten to chop my nephew and his dog up. The cops never did anything about their threats. They told me to stay in my unit for safety or move for my safety. The condo corporation refuses to do anything as well. So if anyone nose a good civil rights lawyer, please reply to me. Because I fear for my life, this is no joke and because I have to move. I will have a good case to sue the condo corporation as I feel unsafe. These people from these countries do not like people. With disabilities, they believe that we are a curse and that we are a waste of society.

I feel this in my city. It's incredibly frustrating.

Whats not fair is that they came here for a better life and now our quality of life has suffered. Every person will tell you how things have changed negatively because of the Indians, Punjabi's and Pakistanis. None of them aligns with Canadian values. I feel its very rude and nerve-racking of them to come here and then try to change our culture to look like what they just came from. They are a dirty people. They have no rules when it comes to cleanliness in their food factories. They literally use their filthy feet to help in the preparation of food that is shipped to Western countries. Its a common agreement that we dont want them here. Even natural-born Indians dont want them here. They know how disgusting their hygiene practises are. I went to an indian resteraunt with a friend of mine and i could see into the kitchen and the guy who was cooking was barefooted and as he came to deliver the food he slid into a pair of slippers. I asked him if he was cooking in bare feet and he lied saying OHHH no maam and then he lifted his foot. I looked at my friend and said this is grose and im going to McDonalds. And everyone in Mcdonalds was Indian too. FUCC that. Canada doesnt even look Canadian anymore. We honestly look Asian and its the Liberals who are doing it. Get rid of White Canadians. Bring in Dumb down indians and they will never lose another election

We are getting way too many from other countries not only India. So everyone's gotta remember that we are getting massive loads from other very populated countries. It's gotta be engineered to help offload their countries of their populations, which in many countries they are packed like sardines. I already left the GTA thinking I would be relieved of this, but no, only slightly. They are in every town. I feel like the government harmed me indirectly because I opposed what the government did, so I took it upon myself to move, and yet, my problem was not solved. Africans, Indians and various Arabs are most in my neighbourhood, now. We are 3 hours away from Toronto. If you here in the comments section plan to move, then find a pocket at least 8 hours away from all the major canadian cities, but closer to some smaller towns.

It all boils down to how the Indians are raised in their own country. They are raised with the individual mentality. Do for yourself, and to hell with the others. Leave it for someone else to take care of. This is why their country is one of the dirtiest in all the world. They use the streets as a garbage can or toilet, then just leave it for someone else to clean it up. But, when everyone is raised with this attitude, there's no one left to clean it up. In India, they have the "untouchables". Yes, the caste system is still operating in India, although it's not recognized by the government. It's the untouchables that are supposed to clean up all the trash and feces off the streets, but they never do. They don't get paid to do it. This is why their trash clean up is so poor as far as having trucks go around and pick it up to take to a landfill. There are very few untouchables and the other people won't work for the trash pick up companies, because they feel it's beneath them. So, they trash their country and instead of cleaning it up, they move to another country to trash it. My brother used to be a truck driver for many years. Every time he saw a truck rolled over on it's side, he'd say "Must have been an Indian", because every rolled over truck he ever saw was driven by someone from India. If you look at videos of the traffic in India, you will see lot of trucks rolled over, and you'll see no one pay attention to stop lights, stop signs and everyone just cuts off everyone. This is the individual idea. I have to get somewhere, so I will cut you off to get there. It's always "Me, me, me". This attitude causes so many wrecks. Westerners have a hard time driving in India because we are all raised with everyone in mind, not just ourselves. We are a community, not an individual. We need to put a big wall around India and stop all airplanes going in and out, so they don't spread their diseased ideals of life and end up ruining another country. Do you know why India doesn't really take military training very seriously? Because no other country wants to invade and have to deal with the clean up. At this point, it's just about impossible to ever clean that country up.

let’s be honest, if tyler is making a video about this.. that means we are not crazy and there is very much a problem and I feel very bad for Canada. Honestly, as an American I would not tolerate this infestation in my country. Like I literally would not tolerate it and I would do something about it to make sure this doesn’t happen.

I am Indian, and I request that Canada and the USA deport Indians back to India. No country should feel as though it is being invaded or colonised by people who do not belong there.... This is stupidity...I did my Masters in London for two years. I promised myself that I would make friends only with students from the UK, Europe, and other countries—except India, experience their culture and then return to India once my studies were finished. I did exactly that.

This man is spewing absolute nonsense. “Rape is not against their culture” whose culture? Africa is a continent with 54 countries and well over 3,000 ethnic groups and tribes. Most, if not all, African nations have legal penalties for rape. Africans are “stupid” and “can’t keep a job at McDonald’s”? But somehow Nigerians are some of the smartest, most accomplished people I’ve met in my life. The ones I know are doctors, lawyers, engineers, work in tech, living in mansions and driving cars this miserable white trash of a man would only dream of. The irony of someone with such a limited worldview calling other people “low IQ” is wild. Education isn’t just about what you think you know, it’s knowing when you’re completely out of your depth. Instead of blaming entire populations for why you think they’re beneath you, maybe ask yourself why tearing others down is the only way you know how to feel superior.

Most of this issue is caused by north Indians who find it hard to assimilate especially the Sikhs. And the issue was caused by the canadian government who prioritized quantity over quality. As an indian immigrant there are times I feel disgusted by their behavior. Due to this behavior the nicer Indians who hold up canadian values are getting the same discrimination. Me myself is a catholic indian who had to leave the country because of the religious bullshit caused by north Indians. We were not even allowed to have a peaceful Christmas in India. As I moved to Canada I faced more racism from north Indians as I eat beef and pork and dont speak hindi. It breaks my heart everytime when I get discriminated from people thinking that i am a punjabi. I just want to live a normal life and follow my faith. Its sad that they dont let us live peacefully in india and in Canada.

My parents came to Canada over 30 years ago with employable skills and money to support ourselves. We go through Canadian education system, get Canadian jobs and pay Canadian taxes. We still celebrate our own heritage with food and holiday but we do them in our own house. Not sticking into people’s faces. I feel that’s how immigration should be like. Not hordes of illegals and refugees that ruins our society and cost us loads of tax payer dollars. Now with Canada being India land, I’ll have no choice but leave this country eventually, I’ll have no choice but finding a better place to retire.

As a canadian I really feel this, thanks these indians and our government getting a job is a nightmare especially if you live in the city and most of the country is far-left so it isn't changing anytime soon. It's just sad to see, I'm not racist I just want my own country and my own job but I guess that's asking too much :/

just passed the test right now, and the very first thing I wanted to do—before even telling my family—was to leave this comment. I watched the video only once, from the beginning up to question 215. One time only—yes, one time only. Then I took the test, and on my first attempt I passed with 15 correct answers out of 20. I honestly can’t believe it. I didn’t realize how much I knew until I was sitting there answering the questions. About 50% of them came directly from the first 215 questions in the video. I am truly, deeply grateful to everyone who worked on this video. It’s not just good—it’s amazing. After nine years of struggle with this citizenship journey, I finally feel like I can breathe… like I can fly a little. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. 🤍

Does anyone else feel like a minority in the town they were born. I was pulled over by the RCMP not long ago. They were both East Indians. One of which could barely speak proper English. I had an East Indian friend with me. I was interrogated more about being with an Indian woman than I was for speeding. They didn’t even care about my speed but pulled me back to their cruiser and kept questioning my intentions with the woman. Was fucking terrifying! So I went to the detachment to complain. Guess who the staff sergeant was. Another fucking East Indian🤦‍♂️ this is no longer Canada😑

My Family has been here for over 300 years, the last segment of my family arrived in 1852. You can go home after you destroy this nation where the fuck do I go. I used be proud of being of Canadian but now all I feel is rage.

I was the lawyer invited to this interview, and after reading some comments celebrating the end of the PEQ, I feel the need to clarify a few things. The people affected by this are not “abusing the system.” this was the program for people that came here legally and are working. To qualify for the PEQ, they had to be working full time, they pay taxes, they speak the language. They’re fixing our roads, keeping hospitals running, welding, machining, doing the jobs most of us take for granted every single day. The hard truth is that Canadians have stopped having enough children, and we simply don’t have enough young people with the skills to fill these roles. Yes, we absolutely should invest more in education and trade programs for our youth — my employer clients are begging young people to become mechanics, welders, skilled workers, often in the regions. Most don’t take those jobs, and even when they do, training takes two to three years. Our industries need people now, or parts of the economy will stall, and that affects all of us as Quebecers and Canadians. These workers are not asking for charity. They are already on the front lines keeping key sectors alive. Ending programs like the PEQ doesn’t punish “illegals” or “free riders”; it punishes people who are already integrated, working, and contributing to the society we all share. Also, all they are asking is for the new rules to not be applied to them retroactively, only for those coming new into the country, otherwise it is rug pulling those already here that played by the rules, and when the government does it to us we don't like, on principle of fairness, whatever you think of the numbers, too high too low, doesn't matters, it is the least we can all get behind as humans.

Before Trudeau UK had the biggest number. He brought in 3m+ that made Indian population higher in Canada than UK. SA, Tanzania and Kenya also have big numbers. Idi Amin used brutal means to kickout British Indians in Uganda. Colonialist English empire was the cause of of Idi Amin's actions. British Kingdom migrated thousands of Indians as cheap labour to build rail lines to mineral rich regions extending to DRC- Uganda city of Kasese and Kilembe mines. When the railway was completed, they offered them British citizens including those born in Uganda. The colonial British gave them business loans, including Indian banks to extend credit and loans to Indians without surerities. They were allocated colonial govt freehold land for free in the most prime areas of uganda major cities like Kampala, Jinja, Masaka, Mbale, Soroti, Mpigi, Tororo etc while black Ugandan indegenous people were pushed into the rural areas to work in factories, mines and businesses set up for British Asians. As you can guess, business class get super rich while Africans who didnt work on their own coffee, cotton, and domestic farms were left to work as clerks, securicor, teachers, Christian clergy/ reverands and local tax collectors for the govt. Brutal as he was, Indi Amin saw and used this imbalance as a second liberation war, economic war, to kick out all British Asians holding UK Passports and any other Ugandan born who didnt want to abide by the authority of indegenous people. Amin killed whoever tried to challenge his life president, he killed 72 ugnadans, mainly politicians by public firing squad aired on TV. He killed the Anglican Archbishop Luwum, he killed the 1st Ugandan Chief Justice Ben Kiwanuka. He was brutal BUT, every Ugandan is celebrating his nationalism of caring for ordinary people AND opening their eyes on trade and business by KICKING OUT economy sacking British Asians. This is history I saw and followed because i was a kid in primary school at the time 1972. In addition to that Indians in Uganda were so arrogant to indegenous Ugandans, I experienced it. So when i see how Canadians resent them I dont feel for them unfortunately. I already had enough on my plate in Canada. Indians were the owners of biggest to smallest shops in major cities and town in Uganda because of free capital and soft loans, financed business premises thru the colonial British suckers. They showd that arrogance which pissed most of the indegenous Ugandans. For example if you went to a shop and burgained on a KG of sugar or bread, or shirt, and didnt get fail to buy because you dont have that much or failed to get a good deal, the Indian shopkeeper would insult any Afriacn in Indian- Luganda accent " oba tayagala genda malala jali..mali ya nyoko?". meaning " If you dont want to buy go, others are there will buy, is this your capital/ stock?". Many songs were sung after the 1972 kickout depicting that phrase/ quote.

To be here as a citizen today, I had to pay CAD$35.000 for a two years program in Toronto. But to get the study visa I had to prove a lot of things, including money, proof that I had paid the college (at least 1st year), English, a Bachelor degree (education), a clear criminal history, and what attach me to my country. I had to study hard, and only after graduation I could have 3y work permit. By working in Canada I could get more point to become a permanent resident. After 2y having my PR, I could get the citizenship, but I had to prove I pay taxes, clear criminal history, and other things that show I would be a good citizen. So, I worked (and still work) hard, I am currently in two jobs and at school taking my masters, I respect the laws, I respect the culture (I never tried to impose mine), and I pay over CAD$10.000 in taxes per year on my income. That said, I feel as a slap on my face when fraudulent and dishonest people are able to be here cheating the system in any way. Some people may say I am an immigrant against immigration. NO, I am in favor of people taking the right path to immigrate, and make real contributions for this country, not coming to be scammers and criminals.

People who don't want to talk to us, understand us, do business with us, rent to us. but the same people want us to assimilate, Convert, stop talking to each other and stop doing any business and pay better taxes to contribute better. Sorry to say, we love white people. I myself had to spend 5 years, put in efforts to make white friends, chinese, japanese, arab, black friends (in order to learn canadian culture and try to adjust myself in it, without compromising extremely on my spiritual beliefs and positive aspects of my culture). quite a few are very good friends and discuss my problems and share theirs while others behave like they are somehow supreme than me... 6.5 years in Canada, worked hard to assimilate and now, Federal Government backstabbed me for PR along with a minimum wage paying, but expecting $30 results employer (white-canadians)... So, I guess, people who are not trusting them knew something that I didn't... I never worked cash never tried to misrepresent myself to IRCC and this is what I am made feel... while 100s of people did cash jobs, saved money and today are getting PRs... still I am trying my best to stay legally, without exploiting loopholes... but, I feel scammed by the canadian dream.

Just wanna say, cause I don't think its said enough, I commend the journalistic integrity that you started out with and maintain throughout your work. Thank you for your commitment to hearing many sides of the story. My brother is a journalist in NYC and he also amplifies voices that are so often drowned out by louder, flashier ones. As a Canadian, who was born in South Africa, but have grown up in BC since elementary school, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity this country has given my family. We all work hard to build on the values shared in this nation. I love learning about aspects of Canada that I am unfamiliar with, but ultimately help shape its identity. 🙏

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

As an American born Punjabi, I used to visit Canada when i was young (90's) and it was a beautiful place. Now I dread going there because the Canadian culture is lost. It's over run with Indians and they don't share the same value or even cultural norms as Westerners. I see this problem in America as well but it's nto just Indians. In America, it's every country in the world that comes and interacts with their own community and there's no assimilation. Even as a second generation American, I still feel like a guest in this country and I am grateful for the Americans to have allowed my family to come here to live with them. Citizenship is just a piece of paper though. I know if I didn't assimilate, they could send me to India even if I know nothing about it. It's just basic humility.

Try ordering food with any delivery company. It is the worst experience ever. I remember delivery people used to be so chill, probably because they could afford to live on minimum wage. I recently gave a driver a huge tip and requested it be brought to my door because I was having a movie night, they called me and said " COME OUTSIDE! COME OUTSIDE!" and I said "I requested for it to be delivered to my door", then he hung up and left with the food. Probably ate it. I had to reorder my meal and wait another hour. I swear to God every time I order food for delivery, which is rarely, the door dash driver is absolutely disrespectful or putting in 0 zero. This is the cheap labor Trudeau wanted. I honestly just feel bad ordering food for delivery now because I know it's hell out there

It saddens me for what this country has become. When I first came here, I saw the potential of what I could do in this country but that is not the case anymore. I, amongst many immigrants from India, try every bit possible to assimilate in the society and believe me we have, almost at par with Canadian values. However, post-covid, everyone seems to judge every east Indian on the same grounds as outlined by the speakers in this video. My opinion is, people who do not respect the laws and traditions of this country should go back to their countries (regardless of who they are) and do all your propaganda there especially all the international ones. Like I came here for a better future and I feel I am getting a worsened experience due to all this toxicity for colored people and their behaviour of course.

Thank you for this report on Brampton. For context, I am a 4th generation Canadian, my ancestors immigrated here a few years prior to confederation in 1867. I have worked in the tool and die industry for decades and many of my associates work for or manage tool and die businesses in Brampton. Everyone in Brampton knows what is changing there. When I try to explain to my friends that what is happening in Brampton is not balanced, they do not understand, they think I am a racist. I told them that my Indian friends in Brampton feel the same way I do. They look at me like a deer in the headlights. Nothing has turned me against a politician so vehemently as Justin Trudeau's management of immigration. The man had no idea how to effectively manage immigration in a way which would integrate people into a culture and society such as Canada. That certainly is not creating a microcosm of one nation in a city.

After watching this video, and then reading the comments i think I know what the problem is, its RACISM, people just dont like seeing so many people of different color, ofcourse mass immigration will bring a lot of people, in this case it was Indians/pakistanis/bangladeshis, and its true out of so many immigrants some will choose wrong things to do(there are bad fishes in every pond), but isnt it true for everyone, even white people do the same shit, but the issue here which is concerning to everybody why a different race is here, the feel like its no more like canada used to be cuz brown people are here, but they forget white people also immigrated at one point of time to these lands. And also is nobody seeing the second part of the video where these people have temples giving out free food to so so many people. In my honest opinion, this rant of people is just glorified wrapper of RACISM which people dont wanna say out loud.

I don’t know how to feel about this. In my head I know without immigration the population will go down and that’s bad for economy. I know that diversity is good and we should embrace people from all backgrounds. Yet, something feels vastly wrong with what is going on in Brampton. And I feel guilty for feeling that way because I didn’t feel like that when I went to Woodbridge when it was all Italian or Richmond Hill when it was all Hongkong Chinese.

Yeah this is disgusting. Unfortunately this is not just a CANADIAN problem, but it’s happening all over the world (by the same people). I’m black but I easily feel like a double minority within the community even though I’ve been born and lived here for 25+ years. I’ve seen my entire neighborhood change (which was diverse in the 90s but still had that comradery and friendliness) change. It’s very isolating now.

I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. If these were French people like my heritage is, I would be even more pissed because I could say something without being called a racist. I dont even need to name the group because its OBVIOUS, living in the same city most ky life I've seen a drastic change, and this isnt intregation like my family did as they we're the members of french part of the metis tribe long ago. 5 years in a row they have added an average of 70,000 people legally to the city I live in I live in of 1.4 million people that is absolutely absurd the train system is packed all the way until 1:00 a.m.... it's just simple economics you can't add that many people and have a sustainable City.... these idiots never played sim city or some shit Also there are millions that came pretending to get spots in our universities and didn't show up, and these are the same people that are buying up all the businesses and houses and only letting the people from their own country be involved that is not integration....... I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.

My grandfather fought in wwII. It's sad but I'm so happy he is not here to see what has become of this country he fought and risked his life for. Its so pathetic . I've always been proud to be Canadian now I want to get out of this country and live elsewhere. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. Never. Everything is destroyed. This feels like India 😢😢😢. We have to stop this. They need to leave. They are not here because of war or danger for their lives. They are here to take the jobs, take over our culture and country. Now we have to be careful what we say or were called racist. I'm white I lived in the hood all my life. With black people. I have only one question.. why is the government allowing them into the country ? What is the reason and who is it benefiting??? As I commented before , my parents came to Canada in 1966 I was just a baby , Canada had endless jobs in manufacturing, and especially in the construction sector , I will say that immigrants back then , Italians , and Portuguese really built this country , the men and women worked sometimes two jobs , no hand out from the government , no sick days , Canada was beautiful growing up , .. that’s how I remember it , other immigrants followed , from Poland , and then the Indians started to come in by the 80”s .. fast forward to now , I’m embarrassed of our country , it’s disgraceful and disgusting, the transition from back then to now , I feel like I’m living in India , dirty , scammers , gangs , thief’s , murders , ignorant , entitlement; disrespectful etc .. facts , one thing that I can’t wrap my head around is the language barrier , why are these people working in customer service ? Why are they dealing with the public ??? Why are they in the health care industry, nurses , doctors etc , when they can’t speak the language???? Why are they accepted in these highly skilled positions? Just because you have the skill ? Isn’t knowing the language and being able to communicate a requirement regardless what job you have ? Why is the government allowing them in this country and then paying for them to have all these resources available to them ? Why ?? We need to start helping the people that have contributed to this country , that paid taxes and their dues FIRST … we do not have enough affordable housing , jobs , hospitals ,etc .Canada has falling , they are a financial strain on this country , it needs to STOP.. this isn’t the 60”s anymore Canada is to the max , no opportunity here anymore , send them back !

I feel for that lady,I'm a home owner, but not for long, I lost my job due to a back injury, I went back to school for DZ and heavy equipment tickets, graduated 7 months ago and unable to find work, I spent all my savings, in 3 years. I saved $75,000 over my 40 years, just to lose it all to the economy we live in today. I eat once every other day. I will be homeless by winter. And I see all the immigrants wearing Gucci, driving nice cars, living the life Canadians deserve. I'm ready to burn this government to the ground. I'm about to lose everything and there's nothing I can do to save my life.

My neighbourhood is primarily made of immigrants. I see a lot of elderly people brought to Canada by their adult kids. I see a huge number of single swarthy complexioned looking single males. Males who sit in malls, stand at streetcorners, wander and sleep in our parks. I no longer feel safe walking my dog. I am told to take my fnnn dog off the road. It's their road. Like he!!. My family came here as immigrants, paid their own way, bought real estate and never ever asked anyone for help. We even had to pay for our own healthcare before the NDP eventually intoduced national healthcare. And don't kid yourself, the refugee you find to get freebees off the Canadian taxpayers are not always poor. They keep their investments in Swiss, German, UK and US banks. Canadians are way too laid back and let this happen.

Immigration has gotten so bad I feel like a stranger in my own country. It's no longer Canada. Liberals and immigration has ruined this once great land.

The sad reality is that if our government wasn't taxing our young Canadians to death from the moment they get started at attempting to build a future for themselves, the young Canadians would actually be putting thought into having children and starting families. But the reality is they can't afford it and everyone knows that our young Canadians don't make the list of government handouts. As a child immigrant to Canada, I am absolutely disgusted with what we've turned into and how easy it is for today's immigrants to come here, it's like spitting in the faces of immigrants like my parents and many others who had to work their asses off to be here and make a life for themselves and their kids. Every older generation immigrant I have spoken with says they feel like all of their sacrifice was for nothing. When we immigrated here, we kept our traditions, but we also embraced Canadian traditions and I passed our traditions onto my child, but she was raised Canadian and she embraces both. Our whole family has been proudly Canadian since the day we came here and it breaks our hearts to see what our Canada has become. I'm pretty much exactly where that lady in the car is at. Enough to make rent, pay my monthly cell phone bill, and internet, but the rest? Not enough for food, no emergency funds if something breaks or needs replacing, etc. Can't even save and put money away. I sat down and balanced my budget, looking at what I could keep or toss. Figured out what to do for cheapening food costs as much as I could (without doing food bank), and the most I can afford for rent is $700 a month. That's basically a room in someone's house. That's it. As an Adult, I'm disgusted it's come to this. But what angers me MOST of all, is the Landlord's I gotta argue with. Surrey, BC used to be the cheap end of Vancouver. The welfare type housing, and low-income area. Then we had this huge book of Middle Eastern people come flying in at top speed, steam roll the community and make it theirs. They bought up all the cheap housing, ripped it down even though it was not that bad of a house, then built these custom 5-6 room mini mansions. The standards for the area skyrocketed, and the cost of their mortgage is likely also sky high because of what they built... So what do they do? Rent the rooms, force people 2 to a room with no privacy, and if you WANT a private room? Nearly $1000. Oh... And let's not forget the discrimination issues. If you're not going to temple or Gudwara, forget it. If you aren't pure vegetarian, forget it. And because all the other renters are "brown" and under 30yrs old, Adults are considered unwelcome. If you have a disability and don't work, you're automatically labelled a drug user (which isn't always truth). Even if you offer proof of income, and resources or phone numbers to call, they won't bother. Too much work. This sh*t needs to stop. I look in other cities near by, and it's happening in ALL OF THEM. I cant even relocate to get away from this crap. I'm done. I have no car to live out of, so that's not an option. I'm not a drug user, never will be but and all the shelters are now "low barrier". Screw that. So now what? Go back to work with a broken lower back?? Desk job search when I should be recovering and resting? Like, the suggestions are welcome, but be realistic. I'm in constant pain on heavy duty drugs to get by right now. No spouce. No parents or friends to leech off of. I feel utterly abandoned by our government.

You know what too...If Canadians was too go to India I wouldn't be able to bring my Canadian/Caribbean Culture there..I look at it like this his your moving to another Country I'm gonna adapt to The Culture and Lifestyle..Im not gonna bring my Old Ways that I wanted to leave to a New Country and Life...I feel like its not Canadians being Racist it's that they came here and The Government and Businesses are Catering to them From Adding Specific Food Items to cater to them most Jobs are by passing others to hire them...And on top of that Canadians are dealing with Food Cost being High still and Working a Job and still not making else to live a decent Life...Seems like most people are Working to Survive and Pay Bill and don't even have enough to atlest go out and have a peace of mind and have a Social Life...There brought in all these Immigrants to The Country while The Country was basically under a Recession...And this Problem is not getting Fixed now and it seems like it's getting worst..To the point I feel like a Civil War could even break out I this don't get Fixed somehow and someway... Trump is doing all these crazy things but he is forgetting one HUGE thing. Canada & many other countries are Allies of America & while he's talking about tariffs & goodness knows what (I did watch his talk in Congress), at least respect your Allies. Trump is sleeping with the enemy & in all my years, I've never seen an American President turn on their Allies like this. He is a dangerous man for all the wrong reasons. Trudeau speaks so genuinely & politely where Trump yells 'this is the way things will be'. \nI don't look forward to the next 4 years & many in my country (Australia) have said they won't even go to America while Trump is in Office.
