My dream is that Canada would join the United States to create a super power like no other. But I don’t agree with how Trump is trying to force their hand. God bless EVERYONE.

I don’t agree with Trump but I’m trying to understand this….So he (Trudeau) punishes his own nation with carbon tariffs then tells his nation how tough it’s gonna be now that a foreign president applies tariffs…I’m sorry I just don’t get it…instead of starting a fight that will hurt us even more, why don’t he just let go of the carbon tax to help the suffering…\nIs he actually care or is it just politics ?

As a citizen of the United States, I stand with Canada. I am from Michigan and don’t want my home gas going through the roof. I didn’t vote for the damn racist dictator. I am for human rights. I don’t agree with Trump!!!!!!!! Good speech Trudeau. Keep standing up to the bully.

Trump and Maga are like any crazy regime, absolutely full of magical thinking and not based in reality. So 2+2 = 6 and if you don’t agree, you hate America. Average Americans are expected to believe that a bunch of billionaires and companies that have been robbing them blind for 40 years will now have their backs because they are actually in government instead of just pulling the strings from the sides. Or because they trigger the right people on the Internet. . I also hate how every leader in the world has to pay some kind of false reverence to Trump even though they all know he’s nuts out of some kind of decorum. Just want somebody with balls to get up and say fuck him and fuck his lunacy. And shove your decorum up your arse because Trump doesn’t have any. It’s about time you realise what you’re dealing with and pull the gloves off. Playing nice and nice and reasonable is only playing into his hands.

Ya know, it’s honestly comical that some many people have these knee jerk responses to anything they deem “negative” STRICTLY for the fact that it came from Trump, and rather know TRULY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING behind the reason why these “negative” things are said or done in the first place… I ASSURE YOU 99% of the people complaining about this Canada tariff don’t know that it’s simply to (essentially) force Canada to agree to ramp up their border DEA enforcement/presence to help cut down on the illegal drug trade (primarily fentanyl) coming into America! If more of these people complaining knew this reasoning behind it, I think that would quite honestly shut a lot of them up! And to be completely honest with you, that failure falls on NO ONE MORE THAN THE JADED MEDIA!! I truly believe THAT is hands down the biggest failure in our nation currently!! The media is HANDS DOWN our biggest enemy so far this presidential term!

So sorry Canada I was born there in Quebec Canada and have lived here since childhood in the US you are our neighbors and I can’t believe this is happening and my hopes are that this will all be settled. We didn’t vote for Trump so please believe as Americans that we don’t agree with this that we are not all as Americans are on board with this

I agree with Canada in every statement said here. It’s sad that Americans have allowed themselves to be manipulated by one man. As an American I say to Canada and Mexico, do what you need. We don’t see this as an attack on us, but as a response to an attack by Trump on your countries. I used to wonder how Hitler was able to convince so many to follow him. We have seen exactly the same behavior by Americans, today, who follow Trump. It’s sad, and it’s disgusting.

I hate being stuck on the wrong side. Such an elegant leader Canada has. We Americans that don’t agree with our president are stuck with his embarrassing actions and his cabinet members that are very unqualified to be in their positions. Unbelievable. \nDump the Trump!

We (Americans) don’t want this either. Musk and trump are illogically running rampant. We (a good portion of us) want them gone, this was clearly a mistake on us that voted (or didn’t vote). We know trump and musk are liars, ignorant, and corrupt. We as a people have to figure out how to get this nonsense out. And for the record no I’m not a liberal and no I’m not a conservative. I see the pros and cons of both sides and both sides have beliefs I agree with and some I don’t.

I completely agree with what trump did. He’s doing an amazing job! Funny that Trudeau is trying to put forth the same false narratives as our Democratic Party does. You can tell that he def watches cnn and MSNBC. \nThe American people don’t like you Trudeau. Your own people hate you too. You’re a tyrant. What you’ve done to the Canadians is sick. Especially with taking away free speech and jailing people for hateful speech. \nYou people in Canada actually give heroin and cocaine to people who want it at certain safe injection sites. Don’t try to act like you’re really about stopping the drug flow.

Please Canada ….. know that most of us do not agree with dictator Trump. As a veteran and American I am truly ashamed of our Putin loving president. Just know the majority of Americans see you as our friend, don’t believe most American’s support this….. 25% is outrageously high. When it comes to the world economy, you don’t make waves. 10% should be max to start off with. I can agree with many of the changes Trump is making, but not this one.

I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

First of all, Trump did have immigration policy, so right there you’re lying he had the wall because the people coming and trafficking children and don’t forget about the cartels that are killing people with drugs … as far as let’s just call it the gays because that’s what it is we have no problem with that. I graduated high school , don’t have any felonies or misdemeanors. I have a degree for machine technology and I can’t work because I don’t have a work permit , and these people are coming and getting all these privileges I never got. This is causing bad to those who are already here and are trying to do everything according to the law and yet we have no support in getting atleast a work permit. I agree daca was unconstitutional which is why they’re trying to shut it down but trump was trying to make something happen for teens that were brought here at a young age. Unfortunately people are blind and selfish and only care about themselves, I get it that they live in poverty because so did we. And my beautiful mother suffered so much. But atleast wait until the US can do something about those who are already in weather it’s helping them or not. There’s so much problems happening right now in the United States such as mass shootings. Let the authorities, government officials , etc try to clean up the United States from how bad it’s getting before raiding the border and causing a burden and headache to those who are in office trying to come up with solutions to this madness.
