PM Trudeau you gained back my respect to you, I already disliked you but now I love you ❤️??

I dislike trudeau but i like that he has a backbone here.

Despite my dislike for Trudeau, this is a fantastic speech, he's absolutely correct.

As much as I dislike Trudeau, and I'm glad he's saying this. Ukraine and tariffs are probably the only thing I agree with him on.

I am an American and Canadian. I live in America. It is INSANE to me that (from what I hear) people dislike Trudeau enough for him to resign, yet I see him here acting respectfully, intelligently, honorably. This is what a good country has reasonably decided to be a bad politician.\n\nPan over to America, and our man in office is egotistical, irrational, dishonorable. His lust for power drives him to split the country and burn our bridges. We are meant to be a good country. We can't agree to call him bad.

Listen to Trudeau, this is how a nations leader speaks. Intelligible, intelligent, well spoken, concise, level headed and he came armed with the facts. Compare him to idiot Drumpf, who is unintelligble, idiotic, reactionary, emotionally unstable, speaks at a 4th grade level, who lies like he depends on it (he does), and speaks only in run-on-sentences laden with self praise and peppered with insults for his critics and those he dislikes. The man only likes people who suck up to him as sycophants do. Theres nothing to sugar coat here, Drumpf is dumb as hell, a complete asshole and 100% self interested. His supporters love him because he's just like them in character, and how they want to be in reality: rich.

i dislike Trudeau from the left of him politically, but this was extremely well spoken and exactly the kind of leadership style Canada needs in this specific case.

Somewhat right but not exactly right. According to Trump admin, Trump is actually trying to stop the circumvention of Chinese goods and Chinese drugs coming from Canada. Trudeau promised Trump to work on the drug issue, but I guess he did not if we are seeing the significant import tax on Canada now. And come on Trudeau, you dislike Trump and aren't exactly his friend. You talked back on him on many international stages. Anyways, I wish you two get along eventually and hope the same for US and Canada.

Hey Mr Trudeau, for your speech to be most effective, please repeat at least ten times, that the republicans are imposing a stiff NEW TAX on Americans. Americans don’t know what a tariff is. It is a TAX and Americans are allergic to that word. Call it a TAX, again and again if you want Americans to dislike it.

I'm Canadian and I highly dislike Trudeau. But he is correct when he asks how do you negotiate with someone who wants to annex your country? I would suppose Trump supporters would have no problems with a hostile and aggressive foreign property developer targeting their homes. The world needs a strong America but you have lost your way. I have disliked trudeau for years. Im glad he is leaving and nothing he does now will change that or my mind. \n\nHowever, his responses lately have been on point. We will not back down and this is not on us. This is the states doing!!

Is Trudeau attempting to fool us into thinking he has our best interests at heart when he struggles to represent Canadians effectively? Didn't he once consider resigning because his own people disliked him? This is the time to set aside any dislike for Trudeau. I see him more capable of standing up to the Trump administration than the other candidates queuing up to replace him. Think about it, this is not the time to chastise him for past failures because all this does is play into the hands of the Trump clown show.

Using Trump as a stepping stone, Progressives used COVID as a lever to force BLM politics on everyone, and it was a complete failure. Drug enablement, defund the police, open borders, Universal Basic Income (Disguised as CERB)... they had no intention of bringing the economy back online, they wanted to move toward socialism and had no issue burning through tax payer money to get there. Paid off their friends, invested in imaginary solutions to imaginary problems, shutdown all the resource industries to save the planet... Drug addiciton, homelessness, poverty, police harrassment... in an attempt to solve the George Floyd problem, Trudeau has turned everyone in him.\nProgressive have no concept of supply chain management. The fact that Trudeau just won't step down because he believes he's morally superior than the 80% of the country that admits to disliking him just demonstrates how far they'll go to push what's best for us, whether we want it or not. \nThe entire federal Government is essentially in shambles and inoperable at this point. Canada's biggest sport as of last year is basketball although historically was hockey. I don't know if we invented hockey but I know we invented basketball. We also only have 3 main political parties conservative, liberal, and NDP. The green party is more of an influential party and the People's party was a waste. The bloc quebecois actually performed quite well because of the dislike of Justin Trudeau although they only represent quebec
