What's it about? It's about money. It's about a gangster family in the Whitehouse, and oligarchs in the administration, all trying to make as much money as possible. There's no other explanation possible. That's the only explanation that comes close to making any sense. Now more than ever, even if these tariffs are short-lived, Canada needs to move away from U.S. trade. This is necessary for the long term survival and prosperity of Canada. We need to make every effort to increase trade with the pacific rim, Europe and South America. There may be some short-term pain, but it has to happen. Given the events of the last few years in the U.S., Canadians have to realize that things can get even worse, and will likely never be the same. There is very little reason to believe that the ties Canada has had with the U.S. will ever be what they were, or indeed any reason to believe that that is even desirable now.

Canada’s tariffs has almost no affect on the US. Maybe Canada should shouldn’t be aligning with China and should pay their share of things like defense. You people will believe anything told to you by CNN. You people will put Canada and Mexico before America.

The orange clown still does not understand how Tariffs work. It is evident he thinks it's a tax and when he sees the numbers in terms of government revenue accredited to tariffs, he ignorantly believes the country is making money.
