I’m live in a tent surrounded by junkies harassed daily by rich immigrants that look at me like dog meat,profiled by security guards in turbans,even the homeless shelters hire them everyday is a slap in the face.our political leaders are more worried about gay pride than division of labour and resources.we need to get our kids off drugs not give them more reasons to quit life.i wish I had video of the entitled Hindu that lectured me on Brit’s in India 70yrs before he was born it’s okay to crap on British colonization but you can’t crap on them for flooding into Europe and North America because that’s racist. What do I get when I go to India? Delhi belly or pickpocketed. Maybe if we send Walmart,Tim hortons, ,McDonald’s to India and go back to mom and pop shops. Ask them how they feel about gay pride than,do they get to drive out the muslims like they did when the Brit’s left? That’s why Pakistani exists,we just expect them to drop their bullshit when they move here.ive slept in a tent next to a war memorial and was routinely woken up by free palatstine and other bullshit protests that those soldiers did not fight for

I’m a Colombian that moved to Canada. I’ve worked my ass off and now I am a forest firefighter and an army medic, still I am homeless and live in a tent because my income can’t keep up with the living cost…

I have lived my life here (I’m a senior) - it is difficult for most people that are here to get started in the working world and the fewer connections you have and wealth your family has, the tougher it is - so people coming from elsewhere it would be really tough! Very few connections and very unlikely you have family wealth to lean on. With the weather here you can just ‘bum’ around…if you live in a tent while you are figuring things out or you’ll freeze to death! Like when my grandparents came from Ireland and Scotland, it took them working very hard their whole lives to get a foothold, then things were better for their kids.
