These are Punjabis who are closer to ethnic Pakistanis than Indians. Most of these punjabis aren't hindu, and don't like hindu. Don't associate them with Indians. They treat Indians horribly, and aren't hardworking, smart, or educated like Indian diasporic community. As an Indian Muslim, most Indians do not like these people. Hindus and Sikhs indulged in violence against each other and saw communal riots in Canada in 2023. Indian govt infact has started assassinating naturalised Canadian citizens from India, who are deemed to be "threat" (tick off the hindu nationalidt govt in power). I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves). If you wish to blame someone, blame the govt of Canada and its elites. At the end of the day, they wanted cheap manual labour, and opened the gates without much consideration.

As an American, I am ignorant about Canada and its immigration policy, and so wonder how much stated in this video are lies due to racism, and how much is true? For example, the Indians who come to the US are vetted, are educated, and work hard. Since the 90s, most of the Indians who come to the US are not Punjabi Sikhs, nor are they Muslim. Punjabis came earlier, but since the tech boom, most who come are Hindus usually from Southern India. About 20% are also Christian. These Hindu and Christian Indians from Southern India are model minorities. Think of these kids who do well in the Spelling Bee. No crime, no trash, just educated hard working folks. Especially here where I am in San Jose, CA. So are these Canadians lying, or are the type of Indians who go to Canada worse? Those with fake diploomas or Sikhs claiming refugee status due to their religion and not being safe in Hindu India? Something is amiss bc how can these Indian immigrants be so different? If Canada is not vettung their immigrants why not? I also know that a coworker of mine who is from Southern India, his niece recently secured a visa to Canada and she is a Radiation Oncologist, an occupation Canada is in need of. So assumed lie the US, Canada is letting in needed skilled workers.

Hindu Mandirs just want to collect your money. Mandirs are pure greedy business so much that ke rich ppl can do puja by paying extra.\n And Gurudwaras help you with food and lodging.\n Gurudwara is not business but social place. Most of Hindus also visit Gurudwara more than mandirs. \n It's cheaper for sikhs when someone dies than Hindus as Hindu Pandits will extract as much money as they can where as in Sikhism its like free. My Hindu friends used Gurudwara for last rasams of his father.

Sikh community got wiped out from Afghanistan but not a single Khalistani helped those poor Afghani Sikh. At the end it was Indian government who had to airlift Afghani sikhs from Afghanistan. I can understand the world is not understanding Sikh perspective till date, but all those so called Hindu(they do know the importance of kirpan for a Sikh)but still finds a way to criticise Sikhs, even though their ancestors and themself are alive today because of Sikhs and the sacrifices made my Sikh gurus. Yeah where r u for the Kashmir issue ? Where were the Sikhs in India when Gujrat massacre happened. Sikhism came from Hinduism and mixed it with Islam. U r from the shatriyas caste and r supposed to protect the Hindus .
