Ive seen young Canadians who canet find work and may have to move to the US for good futures some have already started and taking their skills with them. Canada dies not need high levels it needs more affordable homes, better paying jobs, etc do they can have kids and increase the population organically. Parts of Canada dont even look like a North American country. As an immigrant I can tell you that it would be better if Canadians could afford to have more kids

To be honest this is something all political party’s from across the spectrum agree with in Canada at the moment, we literally have no housing . We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . I’m a farmer who lives in the county but the closest city to where I live is Windsor and for the last 4 ish year the Government was hosting them in Five Hotel's across the city . It got to the point where it was cheaper for the government to BUY the hotels then rent all the rooms , so that’s what they did … No I’m all for helping people but that is kinda pushing it don’t you think ? There are no jobs for them , no homes for them , etc . We have been in a trade war for the last 2 years with the two largest economies in the world and we need to focus our economic power on thous conflicts at the moment and if the world like it or not fighting that is out top priority and everything else comes second .Even with out that fact Our former government overloaded what our ability’s where capable of handling . We have a pretty advanced social care network but these new folks who have never payed a dime into it and are living off of it for years with the government having no real plan on how to deal with it is just to much , with our with out the economic conflict we are currently in . The facts are the facts and we live in reality, anyways you guys all have a good one , cheers .

First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. Good. Canada does not have enough jobs for its own. All those people unemployed & on social assistance can now take those jobs given to foreigners - especially with minimum wage being so high now. I don't think most Canadians have a problem with Indians. I think we have a problem with our government who is not able to enforce a policy that puts the country first. Immigration built Canada and good immigration creates jobs and opportunities. What we're seeing is the government exploiting everyone who built his country. A lot of Indians work here for cheap labour because the government and other regulatory bodies turn a blind eye if it means they can gain the trust and votes of the people they are essentially lying to. My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. I came to Canada as a Landed Immigrant 50 years ago. I have made a good life, raised children, always had a job. I feel as Canadian as anybody who was born here. I resent those newcomers who only exploit the services they never paid for and trample our decency and tolerance. I grieve for our values being undermined and overridden by mindsets that will never adapt.

Two generations ago (50-60 years ago) the Indians who came to Canada, with no family in Canada had excellent qualifications. They had to come with jobs waiting for them in universities, engineering firms, architectural firms and hospitals. The students were Masters or Ph.D. with full scholarship. They went on to build the country but they were minorities fighting the occasional racism on the street (as the woman in the green t- shirt says). Today, as a result of Trudeau's naïveté about the level of corruption in India, there's a huge influx of relatively unqualified Indians arriving and not being able to assimilate into Canadian society because they do not have good job qualifications. They end up living in ghettos and turn to crime. We must fix that by being much more selective of Indian immigrants. As someone of the Indian diaspora, I'd also like to say that there are those Indo Canadians ("brown folks") who want nothing to do with the Brampton or Surrey ghettos. Many of us are completely secular, having no religion and share nothing with these people fighting around temples and yelling at each other in Punjabi or Hindi. We speak English and French and vote in the elections.

I came as student in 2013 I am now Canadian from past 5 years. I just want to mention government is to blame for They earned so much money from international students. I studied with Ukrainian Chinese Mexican and Russian students . They weren't good in English as well But they all worked very hard and very dedicated. Initially it was difficult find job they asked young students for Canadian experience which obviously none of the students had Ircc is laziest department. Even college cares about fees only. Because if student leave the college they don't get back the fees. So they are absolutely fine with this kind of fraud. .and private college are worst among everything. Students doesn't have to attend college. The fraud is now they just gets degrees and some else studies for them. Canada is not corrupt but Canadian politicians to get votes made Canada curupted. Covid benefits fueled this . Downhill started with Covid ended.

I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. Now all I see there these ignorant, entitled effs thinking they can come and change the way of life. Like how Don Cherry said, they want the milk and honey but won't respect the values. I am effing done with this immigration and the government. Steven Harper was the prime minister when I got my citizenship and it was the proudest moment of my life. I really hope Canadians wake up. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. I am a newly arriving immigrant Indian. Been a year now and I have a good job and I am really loving what Canada has to offer. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature.

Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. The problem as I see it, is that responding in kind to Trump like this is possibly to invite an invasion, justified by Trump claiming that Canadian assets are essential to US national security.
