TFW completely destroyed the Canadian job market. Canadian companies would rather use the program than hire local Canadian workers or young workers who are looking for there first job opportunity and gain experience. I respect immigrants who come to Canada, contribute to the community and economy and are willing to leave their culture in the past and adapt to our culture and language. I don’t respect immigrants who refuse to adapt to our language and culture. You’re in Canada, it’s either English and French, stop speaking Punjabi everywhere because we all can’t stand it, especially in businesses. Canada has a major immigration problem at this point. It’s not racist when it’s true. The truth is on film and everyone sees it. Canadians deserve better than what is happening right now. All we want is opportunities and opportunities to buy homes and have families. But the Canadian government would rather bend over to the Punjabi’s. What a disgrace!!

The Canadian liberal government has destroyed our immigration. They should be returned back to ICE in the USA Canadian taxpayers are sick of migrants that are not vetted unproductive unassimilated dependent on the taxpayer.

The reality is that many Canadian citizens have been suffering in silence, struggling to survive in Canada without any help or support from the Canadian government. There is no doubt that the Liberals' reckless immigration policy and the broken immigration system have destroyed our peaceful, prosperous, decent, and happy nation since 2015...

So now the government in Canada wants to defend us & tell us to stand united but in the past decade this country has turned into trash as they gave it away with an open door of Indians taking over and not giving AF about the people born and raised here - the adds on the radio ask us to keep our money in Canada and untie, but we dont even have a Canadian culture left anymore and people living here long enough know its true unfortunately, this was a great place to live but they destroyed it long before this issue - cost of living, housing crisis, immigration, gangs, crime etc. - If they want to keep letting people in here then start a service to help us get out and relocate before asking for help from the people you hurt

As a Canadian, even though I have disagreements with our Prime Minister, he is OUR Prime Minister, and I am glad he is so clearly and strongly saying to the US government and US citizens that we are done playing around. We will pull together, as a country, and come out of this stronger. We are willing to take on short-temp pain to work towards finding new markets and diversifying our trade relationships. The Canadian economy is in a stronger position to survive and recover from a trade war than the US. The US Government in general has destroyed one of the most successful and positive economic and social partnerships in the world and neither Canadians, nor the rest of the world are going to forgive and forget.

Im Canadian....not that I agree with the tariffs, but this POS Trudeau has shut down government the last 2 months. Nothing is getting done. He has time to fly to Ukraine but no time to sit down and hammer out a deal with the USA. He has caused all the issues Trump has complained about. He has destroyed our country from within. He is the worst neighbor a country can ask for. Weak leadership. Porous unsecure border. Weakest military of any first world nation. And a disciple of China. He is ALL OUR ENEMY!

I was born and raised in Toronto. The Trudeau government has absolutely destroyed our economy and is now scamming poor developing nations to come here and work as wage slaves while packing 25 dudes into a basement. This is deplorable. This is just the Indian student scam (selling false dreams and a poor education), we also have the migrant labour scam in our fruit/vegetable fields where workers are abused. I honestly don't understand how these new immigrants survive here, even our Canadian-born are having a lot of financial trouble. Thanks for covering this BBC, the world should know about our economic malaise and how are government is deliberately wrecking this country economically and scamming unsuspecting foreigners.

So many immigrants, government overreach during Covid and the pope of woke Trudeau has destroyed Canadian culture, identity and our freedoms and day by day we are becoming more Marxist and radical leftist thinking. I am Canadian, I was born here in the 60's, I've travelled around the world, including the US but have always lived and worked in Canada. I love my country. saying that now....\nThe last 10 years for Canada has been the worst ever in history, our government has destroyed the foundation of what it means to be Canadian and has made this country look very bad on the world stage.\nEventually that will change. This currently gives reasons why a Canadian wants to move from Canada.\nYou are right about the US, there are places you can move to that offer quiet, country, safe living but like Canada, those places usually trade the good life for lack of opportunity.. the difference is most of Canada gives you the good life and opportunity in the same place. A good example, Billings Montana or Red Deer Alberta... if you compare the 2, they are close, but overall life in Red Deer would be better.\nCulture has changed thoughts too, I could never get used to seeing anyone other that law enforcement carrying a gun.. Isn't it great how the greatest nation for national beauty has crumbled under a leadership which lacks both intelligence and integrity.
