IRCC is now granting repeated extensions on tourist visas. Why are they allowing these extensions? What are these individuals expected to do in Canada for years? Many tourist visa holders have been in Canada for several years — not necessarily because they refuse to leave, but because IRCC keeps extending their status. Some of these individuals end up working illegally, taking jobs from Canadian youth and citizens, and adding pressure to the housing market. The increasing numbers of asylum claimants, international students, temporary work permit holders, tourist visa holders, and undocumented individuals are placing strain on Canada and its citizens. IRCC needs to strictly follow the law and enforce regulations. If not, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited, and abusive individuals or even criminals could find it easier to enter the country.

We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . I’m a farmer who lives in the county but the closest city to where I live is Windsor and for the last 4 ish year the Government was hosting them in Five Hotel's across the city . There are no jobs for them , no homes for them , etc . The east Indian problem has gotten extremely bad where I am in Canada they keep buying businesses and then firing all the white people but if you call it out, you're racist like, I'm getting turned down when I hand out resumes, because I'm white and I was born in Canada its bad they're taking all the student jobs and then buying the businesses where students are working and then firing the students i'm no longer in school, so it's even harder to find a job. It's gotten to the point where if you want a job you need to work for yourself. They're even taking jobs in the trades so now people are having to work for themselves under-the-table and launder their money the average median income in Canada is anywhere from $45000 to $50000 a year the average house costs $673,335 the average household only makes $80000 a year i used to dream about having my own home and starting a family now I just hope I can find an apartment for less than $2000 a month that isn't owned by a slum Lord living in Toronto that's bought the property without ever even being to Smiths Falls a day in their life.

The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. What is the national Canadian language? English. Can you speak Punjabi or Hindi? Can you even speak more than 15 words of it? Probably not. I can't, and i shouldn't need to. Break down from a Canadian who moved to the US. Basically, Indians moved to Brampton because it was a cheaper area, yet close enough to Toronto. Immigrants drove taxi or drove truck usually were paid in cash, leading to tax evaluation. So they were able to save more... They were able to buy a bigger house for cheaper basically. New immigrants move to Brampton probably cause it easier. They don't need to assimilate as much as they sued to. They can speak their own language, not have to learn another, etc. You can actually see certain immigrant groups take to certain cities for the reasons above. Vaughn is Italian, Etobicoke was multi cultural, now Somalian(last I visited), sauga is Arab, etc The universities are a big scam, and the govt is part of it. They don't care cause they get money.... People create these fake colleges and bring in students. Students have "online" classes and so they don't actually go in . I was born in brampton, lived in cbridge then to b.c.! I will never go back! Heres a fun fact tho, the government opened the flood gate to immigration, red taped housing, started a catch and release program for repeat offenders, even violent ones! And made drugs decriminalised! From what I heard, there was commercials and panphlets all over differnt countries saying come to canada for a better life, its great here! Many came and because of the housing shortage due to the red tape, people were sleeping on the street in front of the government offices! Not Canada per se, but baised on my coworkers even the Indians have Indian fatigue now. Especially with the older skilled Indians workers who have aasemulated into the country and came here the honest way. They're always complaining how it's now so easy to get into the country, with relaxed polices and poor vetting and how these newer influxes do not like to assemulate into their new country, and bring their bad practices over here. And annoyed why are importing non skilled workers when locals are struggling for jobs, describing why we do not need more Uber drivers and mc donalds workers. I have friends and colleagues I care deeply about that will be negatively affected by this... and I still support it! Canada needs to prioritize its citizens and it continues to fail to do this in so many sectors. It succeeds in others but food and job insecurity, and then housing, are massive issues in this country that could easily be avoided if the government stepped in. It doesn't matter what your political views are - take care of the citizens, even if it hurts people you care about that aren't citizens.

Every year over 100,000 jobs will be replaced by AI starting from the late 2026, starting from the transportation industry, customer services, office jobs, IT jobs, and education; soon healthcare and engineering as well. No developed country needs workers anymore except very few experts and there will be massive layoff, not because of the economic crisis, but because of AI. In Japan, China, and South Korea, AI are widely used and now young people with a master or PhD degree can't even get a job.

It’s crazy to me that it’s even being allowed to welcome even more immigrants. Our healthcare, housing etc is stretched so thin it’s dangerous. Try getting a Dr if yours retires! They need to send more back to perhaps other countries that will accept them. That alone will save Canada money.

When British and French went from starting trade with indigeneous to brigning their families and settling towns on their land, they must have had the same feeling. My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends.
