I know why an American youtuber is making this video it's all geopolitics. Listen , Canada wants to be an independent country, with a slogan like “Buy Canadian, Build Canadian.” For that, it needs talent from Europe and Asia as well. But the USA doesn’t want this to happen, so these propaganda channels are becoming active. Look at the timing of this video. Keep in mind that the most brilliant minds from Asia, Europe, and even your own country are working for Canada that’s why companies are recruiting them so assuming they have no civic sense doesn't make sense . At the same time, you must be able to identify the moles among them. Trudeau has already given authority to an alleged Indian terrorist within his regime. A wise decision is needed for your country's growth

That goofball with the helmet on has the audacity to talk about Africans like his dirty ass not on a bike looking like he doesn’t contribute a thing to the Canadian society. Like white men didn’t rape black women for hundreds of years. I hate he gives ignorant bums like that such a large platform to express their racism. As an Indian American, I believe that living amongst themselves is wrong. They should integrate to Canadian society and converse with all others. Keep your culture, but do not be closed to Canadian culture. Take on the best of both, and invite non-Indian friends to celebrate functions.

As an American born Punjabi, I used to visit Canada when i was young (90's) and it was a beautiful place. Now I dread going there because the Canadian culture is lost. It's over run with Indians and they don't share the same value or even cultural norms as Westerners. I see this problem in America as well but it's nto just Indians. In America, it's every country in the world that comes and interacts with their own community and there's no assimilation. Even as a second generation American, I still feel like a guest in this country and I am grateful for the Americans to have allowed my family to come here to live with them. Citizenship is just a piece of paper though. I know if I didn't assimilate, they could send me to India even if I know nothing about it. It's just basic humility.

Canadian that spent 16 years in Japan. I went as an individual. I stayed as an individual. Married a Japanese. Came back to Canada for a pension and can't wait to leave. I were in Japan and if I saw a group of Canadians arrive expecting Japan to change for them, I would have been severely pissed off with them. Every other country and normal immigrant that came as an individual or individual family probably thinks the same way I do. No one in any country likes to see "Mass Immigration" and even Japan these days are looking at an influx of half a million Indians and who knows how many more Africans. This will change Japan and they'll turn a good culture into their shitty culture and I'm not happy with that. I liked being one of few. Yes I had American, Canadian, Australian, Kiwi and British friends as well as Japanese friends. But we were all individuals that adopted the way of living in Japan into our everyday lives. If I go back, I don't want to be in india. It'd be like living in Brampton. What pisses me most is the attitude of that muslim guy. Yes you are out breeding us but not all majorities rule. In Malaysia, Malays rule despite being the smaller population. They have more Chinese and Indians there but they have to live under the rule of the native Malays. So you will have to do the same in Canada despite if your population is larger. You adapt to this country. The country doesn't convert to accomodate you. Individuals are key. Groups are the bane of all countries.

Much respect PM Trudeau. I’m an American with Canadian roots as my parents were born and raised in Alberta. Your message was spot on and I’m truly embarrassed and ashamed of our current leadership and the decisions they are making. I hope that someday they will come to their senses. I, an American living abroad will not be traveling to the US for the next 4 years. Instead, I will take my all my trips to Canada and support their economy with my tourist dollars. I will buy Canadian made products as much as I can when I shop in my stores in Europe.

Can any American tell me, as of March 3 why would any Canadian buy an American built car that has a 25% tariff on it when we can buy from 15 other countries with ZERO tariffs.

As an American, I am embarrassed. I have loved travelling to Toronto, and working directly with my Canadian colleagues. These tariffs are plain dumb, and can only be explained by Putin's influence on the FOTUS in America.

Americans obviously didn’t understand what tariffs are, didn’t get that it’s an import tax which they must pay on goods and products they buy from Canada, a tax which tRump collects from Americans and uses to pay for tax-cuts for the richest citizens. But one more thing Americans don’t get is that before this fateful day an unofficial boycott against ALL US goods has been growing since tRump insulted Canada’s Prime Minister and threatened Canada’s sovereignty—whereas Canada’s official countervails ( which only kicked-in today )only target certain US goods, not ALL of them like ordinary Canadians are doing in growing numbers right now—in fact, the imposition of tRump’s tariffs today has only made the unofficial boycott bigger and more organized. It’s heartening that so many nations have solicited Canada, offering alternative sources for common US exports to Canada —citrus fruits, pharmaceuticals, and other manufactures, to name a few.\n\nI don’t think Canadians even realize how big this unofficial boycott is getting because it’s growing so fast. I’ve never seen a surge in Canadian patriotism like this. Never in my seven decades —which includes the two Referenda on Quebec separation. And there’s a federal election approaching when all partisans will be one-upping each other in the patriotism department—which manifests in more boycotts of US goods and hospitality services.\n\n Americans should know that the unofficial boycott is more harmful to US exporters than the official targeted countervails because it features immediate and longterm diminishment of Canadian purchases of US goods—all retailers know it’s very hard to recover lost customers once they’ve found alternatives (and the added patriotic effect only makes it worse). I know from much-welcomed temp Mexican construction workers in BC (where I live) that they view Canadians completely differently from our mutual US neighbours—and now that affection is growing like never before. \n\nI’m continually amazed at how uninformed Americans are about tariffs—and misinformed by tRump and his goofy, preposterous, and ridiculous fantasy of world-domination. When tRump uses the lame excuse to implement emergency powers —that Canada is “allowing” (as Vance puts it) fentanyl to “pour into the USA”—it’s tantamount to saying Ukraine started the war with Russia. I am an American, but my Ancestors were French Canadians who immigrated to Montpelier, Vermont at the turn of the 20th century. Damn as an American that disagrees with many Canadian policies. Somehow I stand with Trudeau right now. Economics 101 tariffs are bad for everybody.

I called the Canadian embassy in Washington DC this morning. I told them as an American citizen. It saddens me and breaks my heart that we are treating our allies with such disrespect. I do not stand with the United States government and their treatment of our allies. I also called the Mexican embassy and told them the same thing. I didn’t announce Trump in his cabinet and what they’re doing to our economy that we have worked so hard to resurrect again after he was president last time. I, urge every person who does not agree with what is going on to call the Canadian and the Mexican embassies and just let them know that we stand in solidarity with them and against our government here!

As an American and a Trump supporter, I agree with these tariffs, but only equal to the tariffs other countries charge the United States on our imports. I do not agree with imposing this on our brothers and sisters to the north. I’m speaking of the good people of Canada. I have traveled to Canada and crossing the border was just like crossing into another state. Yes, there was a border gate which there should be, but I had absolutely no problem whatsoever. I hope our government can work this out very quickly and stop this foolishness. But to countries like China and Europe the United States should charge a reciprocal tariff as to what you charge us on our import. It’s only fair. Why are we paying an exuberant tariff for our goods entering your country and you expect to pay nothing with your goods entering ours. Most Americans, love Canada and love our Canadian brothers and sisters, we’ve always supported each other in world, wars, and other attacks against our respective countries. I pray this is resolved quickly, and then we can once again live United and in harmony.

I used to work as an interpreter with Canadian Armed forces in Afghanistan.. Canadians are very nice people they fought American war for 20 years but now the US has turned its back to all the allies.what a shame to America.
