As an embarrassed American who didn’t vote for Trump, I applaud Mr. Trudeau.

As an American, I applaud you, Justin Trudeau! If only we had a similar sane, smart, compassionate leader here! So glad that Canada is in your capable hands. If you’re the praying, kind, please pray for us! We are a sinking sinking ship…

I applaud Canada’s measured response to rampant Trump stupidity. Trump interests are not American interests. Trump is a traitor.

As an American, I applaud you Trudeau. \nStand up to The Moron!\ntrump, supposedly, bankrupted his Casinos. And that is suppose to be hard to do. Casinos always make money.\nBut, trump did it.

As A Canadian... I'm not a fan of Justin ... but his speech right here is exactly how Canadians feel .. we know it's not the average American... and we applaud you for standing with us ... But this is a speech America needed to hear

Looking in from the out side I applaud Trudeau on his speech. But........ Canada needs the USA more than the USA needs Canada. Trump is who the United States elected by a majority. No games..... no fraud..... He IS THE Average large pickup driving, loud and rude American. He Is America and the rest of the world needs to take note.\n\n To be fair, in historical terms, the USA was created to be isolated and different than Europe. They went to War to become an independent country away from Europe. This whole idea that they follow Europe everywhere is only a small blip in history since WW2, they were never set up to be that.\n\n If Anything, the rest of the world should see there mistake in becoming so dependent on the USA. You should never put that much faith and trust in just one country.

As an American, I want to apologize to Canadians for this completely unnecessary crisis. tRump (aka Krasnov) is obviously working with Russia to dismantle the US. Thank you for standing up to this egregious violation of the Oath of Office and the trust of the American people (not that I ever trusted this traitorous mob). I applaud your actions!

I'm an American and I applaud your honest, grounded and to the point speech. What I'd like to hear from this side of the boarder. Stay strong Canada.

President Trudeau. I applaud you for your honest and direct support to your people. \nI have decided that I will not stand with the American flag on holiday at our yearly sports fixtures to the USA. I will not step foot in that country again until these criminals running this country are gone. My trips twice a year will be in Canada instead. \nI’m from the UK, and we cannot believe the outrageous amount of egotism coming out of America with Musk, Trump, Vance and all his spineless minions and supporters. Born and raised living in Ontario Canada and I applaud Trump Canada has had a 35 to 40% tariff on American goods. Only difference is we call a duty tax? It’s about time America stuck it back to us.

As an American for the whole of my 70 years, I applaud the actions of PM Trudeau. Please know that the majority of Americans value our friendships in this global community, and are ashamed of the actions taken by Donald Trump. I can only hope and pray that this insanity ends soon.

This is why Trump in the US is so popular. Trump policies: #1 he will close the southern border , 15-30 k immigrants a day everyday are allowed to into the US. Some of these immigrants are coming to do harm to the US . They are usually from Muslim countries and African countries. Most coming from South/central America are coming to work in the US , ecape violence/gangs and are also Christians (same religion ). #2 trump stated he will take away birthright citizenship. That is, if both parents are born/citizens from, for example, Syria, then their children born in US will not be granted US citizenship. The children will granted citizenship of their parents. As I watched alot of EU countries Finland, Poland, Lativia closed their borders to immigrants. The US wants to do the same . We gets labeled racists for wanting this same policy. Those EU countries got applauded ??for closing their borders for safety concerned for their citizens. If Canadian or American were to move to either country, we respect them. Americans respect Canadian laws, culture ect . Americans also wouldn't move to Canada or the UK to commit crimes or overthrow the government. We Americans, Canadians and Britts respect eachother, respect culture and would move there to be productive part of our new host country ??❤ ?? ❤ ??

I've only ever lived in Canada, but have been to many parts of the US, and my honest answer is: probably not. Don't get me wrong, there are many places and things in and about the US that I like, but, unless I was offered a job that was too good to turn down, I don't think I could ever live there. One of my closest friends is American, and lives only a few short hours away, but...Possible exceptions would be places like Maine or Vermont. I've read a stat numerous times over the years, that there about as many people in the US who cannot afford health insurance than there are people in all of Canada. It's a shame because the USA has top tier medical facilities, but access is not guaranteed.\n\nPS: from a Canadian perspective, I really enjoy your honest reactions, and applaud your efforts to educate yourself.
