From the Midwest U.S, I support Canada and Mexico! We don’t want tariffs. We want ALL our economy to prosper! Not to crash them down! Otherwise, if we place tariffs, ALL OF US will be hurt. ALL COUNTRIES. ALL citizens regardless of income levels will feel it. \n\nRising egg prices? Just tonight (as of the evening of March 4) he blames it on Biden and the administration when he’s not even the president! I cannot believe we voted for a president who points fingers rather than taking accountability. \n\nAs an American, I only want to apologize to the world for voting for this bully (I never voted for him, but he won anyways.) I wish you all the best.

From Massachusetts. We do not want this either!!!!!?. We stand with Canada more than our own government….meaning this President who got elected with less than a majority vote. Even his supporters are raging against him. I wish that there was something more that we could do as individual American citizens.?? I will pray for this insanity to end.

I have never heard a Canadian sound so fierce and it makes me wish I were a Canadian today. Canada, there are many many Americans that are so ashamed today be part of this country today and please know that we fully support you putting our country in its place. Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. Canada does not close it's boarders to those who wish to leave, nor does the United States close it's boarders to those who wish to leave. The United States is free to put up a wall and a boarder crossing anywhere you wish, stop whoever you want to stop from entering your country. I can tell you that The fastest Boarder Wall that I have ever seen go up is the one that Trump just raised between the United States and Canada, the Tariff Wall. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. It is not only about the Tariffs on Canada, who Used to be your friends, it is about your new friend Russia, who support Terrorist organizations all over the world, including the ones in Gaza who held Americans Hostage, who supports IRAN who supports Russia in murdering and raping women, kidnapping children in Ukraine, torturing and murdering citizens with their hands tied behind their backs. If this is what America supports, if this is what America does to its Ally's, I hope the taps for the oil and the switch for the electricity are turned off, and we never have to worry about each other ever again.\n\nCanada is a country with an Area roughly the size of the United States, with a population 340 Million is 8 1/2 times larger than Canada at $40 Million, with a GDP 9 1/2 times larger than Canada. America is a Bully.

I am an American and I support Canada and Mexico for fighting back. The only way to win with this bullying regime in America is to be strong and punch back. The Felon does not understand diplomacy. Prime Minister Trudeau you are a gentleman, you have done everything possible, even allowed yourself to be humiliated by the US, and to what end? Do not bow down nor kiss the ring. Do what you have to to defend your country. Trump only understands strength, so Canada should be strong and fight back. Wish you well.

Trump could care less how much the tariffs will hurt us Americans. He’s a dictator. The American people don’t support the actions he is taking. Only 25% of the US support him. They are uneducated and easily swayed people. \nMy ancestors are all from Quebec. Boy do I wish I had Canadian citizenship. I pray for Canada and their people. About 52% of Americans including myself would support Canada and Mexico putting 25% tariffs on US goods. I wish Canada would also put a 50% export tariff on oil too.

I'm Canadian and I don't recommend coming here. I wish I stayed in Taiwan. Also, were you rejected by the US? Many people end up here if they don't get into the US. We don't have the housing, healthcare and education etc to support more immigrants. It can also be really hard in the US if you don't have a higher income and health insurance. If you have the latter, you're ok. I have retired American friends in MI with decent income and health insurance and their health care experience is good. But no health insurance in the US isn't good. Canada's public health care has long been dying. I don't know why we're taking more people in when our systems can't deal with it to begin with.

US - the problem is when there are obvious problems you have a system that allows big money into politics, which allows for lobbying, which in my opinion is legal bribery. The idea that politicians had ( or have ) NRA ratings for supporting openly guns and not implementing the most logical of common sense gun control. \nHealthcare - in Canada, not having the healthcare tied to your employer actually makes Canadians a more free country. There are a lot of Canadians in the arts ( musicians, painters etc. ) that have the freedom to pursue any employment that wish, and not worry about the health benefits. \nIt kind of surprises me that you were surprised about school shootings. From what we see, that is not happening all in big cities. Sandy Hook was the worst. To think that Congress didn't do a thing after that, is reason enough not to want to move there.\nAnd Donald Trump has soured my wanting to ever even go there on holiday. Unbelievable that after two years, so many Americans believe anything he says, when he claims that he won in 2020 with not even a ounce of evidence to the contrary. There is not even a theory that would explain his claims. The mistrust of Americans with each other stems from people like Trump and Fox news. \nI think as you said - Healthcare alone is enough for almost any Canadian. I don't know anyone that owns a gun, I don't know of anyone who has gone bankrupt for being sick, and I never worry my granddaughter going to school and being shot.
