As a Canadian, I am so sick and tired of being told that i have this bullshit nonsense, non-existent " white privilege," which is a load of shit. The war on drugs started with Nixon it isn't something you can win by closing the land borders, they will always find a way to get drugs to people that want to use them which includes setting up drug labs in America. Portugal and The Netherlands have pretty comprehensive drug policies but America either won't take note or doesn't want to. Maybe it is about filling for profit prisons among other things.

I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. The USA president Trump wants everything to be manufactured and sourced locally from the United States of America. He knows what happened during COVID-19 and what problems the world experienced because of a global supply chain. Now while it doesn't really make sense with Canada who is right next door the Canadians were given the opportunity to integrate into the USA so there could be some motive in that. And why wouldn't they want that anyway? Just remove the Canadian border and everyone becomes the USA. Why not?

If the Canadian government wants to compete commercially with the US government, it doesn't have to threaten the American people that it will increase inflation in America. What Canada has to do is comply with what the US government has told it. The US has told Canada to stop drug trafficking from Canada to the US. That's all. But they haven't done it.
