I have a large office building on the Gold Coast Australia. I've been replaced 4 times by foreigners. I worked at Amazon and the entire huge warehouse of hundreds of people was only East Indians with only me and 3 other white people. I worked at Ballard and the entire production floor could not speak English at a elementary school level and was replaced by a guy from Iran who had never been to Canada and was in the country for 1 month. All the shift mangers were from Iran and my section was only Iranians, East Indians and Chinese. I was the top production worker by far doing the work of 4 other workers proven by the actual numbers in an attempt to keep my job but still got removed of course to make way for more Iranians because it was obviously a way to bring their people here. Zero locals were in the entire production floor. I can not have the dignity to own my own home and never will be able to even though I grew up here went to collage and university and worked hard. Rent is beyond insane and they raise it the maximum legal amount every year which is huge. All my life I had to bow down to foreigners. The locals have lost their homes and can not buy another house or could never buy one and never will be able to. All are slaves to foreigners who think they are superior and treat them like garbage. The foreigners get help from the government somehow and get loans they never should be able to get because they have crooked contacts in the Chinese owned financial institutions. They then build 5 to 10 unbelievably horrible illegal suites and that is where most of the locals now have to live in. The neighbourhoods went from a very low population of Chinese and East Indians to insanely high levels such as 98 percent. There is no sense in complaining to any government body because the Chinese and East Indians have infiltrated those key positions and always side with their own kind. I was not far from where the Mexican National Mass Shooter killed 5 of his neighbors here in Texas last year, he was previously deported 4 times and had come right back again, his wife was here illegally his best friend who tried to hide him from authorities was here illegally and 4 out of 5 of his victims were ALSO here illegally and you just cannot make this stuff up people! We have a problem in this country and it's not necessarily rooted in racism... who's fault is it that the vast majority of people in this country are of Hispanic ethnicity? It sure ain't my fault, I'm just against letting people who enter or are otherwise in my country illegally stay and I don't much care who they look like or where they came from!

I have questions maybe some of you could answer 1. How is he going to locate these people? is it stopping people in the street? Is it going to be a national tip line? Is it door knocking? Is busting doors? 2. What organization is he going to use? Ice? Police? Military? National guard? All of the above? 3. Are they going to be issued a u must leave notice or arrested in handcuffs? 4. Which country are you going to send them to? Mexico? Their original country? 5. If it’s their original country are you gonna fly them there? On a boat? 6. If these illegals have family member who are legal is he gonna deport the whole family or just the illegal? Is he gonna separate legal children from illegal parents? Or illegal children from legal parents? 7. What is going to qualify as proof of citizenship or here legally ? Birth certificate, passport? Social security number? Green card? (Because we know he doesn’t trust birth certificates ?) if you believe in deportation or not these are the questions you should be asking

How exactly does Trump think he can deport 20,000,000 people? He has 1,460 days in this 4 year term so that would mean starting day 1 he would have to be deporting 13,698 people each and everyday to do that, and that's 24 hrs a day without doing anything else. It's absolutely unrealistic, do the math

IT'S A LOGISTICAL PIPE DREAM, money and morals not withstanding:\nThere are about 800,000 law enforcement personnel in the entire U.S. from local to Federal level, incl. FBI, DEA, etc. There is NO way of deporting 11,000,000 people. It takes 4-6 law enforcement officers to make 1 regular felony arrest, more if there is more danger (i.e. SWAT, etc.). One would have to ask every single officer from local to Federal to essentially arrest and deport 12-13 people EACH - and stop doing all other law enforcement work to do that. And here's the other thing: \n\nU.S. citizens do MORE crime per capita than ANY immigrant community, be it legal or illegal. This is conveniently not mentioned by the MAGA and the right. It's just racist bullshit in fake patriotic clothing.

Option 1 we gonna SPEND a HUGE amount of money to deport millions of people. \nOption 2 we filter out high crime immigrants and filter those out, after we charge $20000 each illegal for a 2 year visa and work permit as a trial time, and see how they contribute to society. \n Do you have any idea how much money will come in?? It will close 1/4 of your countries deficit.\n Look I'm an immigrant myself, and I was brought in legally as a kid. However because of the difficulties or the bureaucracy I was left out of status. The company I worked for (a delaship) wants me back, customers reach out to me directly because they trusted me and were happy with my performance as their advisor. But guess what I can't work, but I also can't be deported because my country of birth is at war. And I dont want to go back quite frankly because it's back there I'm gonna be an alien more than I am here. I finished a degree and paid my way through collage here I grew up here, and even though because of the problems of the immigration system I was constantly limited with basic equal opportunities I still see this as my home, and actually appreciate this country more than some people I know that were born here. \n Now again - I suffered plenty with being limited as an immigrant here and I was forced to work shitty heavy labor for years and years, I worked overtime plenty with no overtime pay and such (y'all just have no idea what immigrants life is) and in my case - I got stuck in that status for 2 decades. Where I could have had a high degree by now, I instead have been just busting my ass for peanuts. I never asked for any help from the government here even when I could have, never filed unemployment. \nAnd after all this you gonna deport me? Great fucking plan. Land of brave and opportunity ??

Too many people are so uneducated about what Trump is really going to do!! They do NOT understand how tariffs work!! Unlike Kamala’s plan to stop the price gouging in the grocery stores…the GOP will drive prices through the roof!!! Anyone who voted for Trump has a lot of moments ahead of finding out what he was claiming he would do that 1) either he can’t because he doesn’t have the authority to just play God or 2) he had not intended the results that people thought in the first place!! \nBut it is truly going to be a scary time as we watch unemployment start to skyrocket, especially as he gets rid of career government employees!! The unemployment numbers under Biden soon will be a distant memory!! After all, Biden has continued to drop unemployment numbers on a monthly basis, breaking all prior records of low unemployment on a monthly basis for the past 4 years!! The inflation rate which did not include costs of food, were also dropping consistently including this past month!! I believe it under 3% by close to 1/2 a percentage point!\nBut what will truly be frightening will truly be if he accomplishes his plan to get rid of SSI, Medicare & Medicaid as well as the Affordable Care Act!! I’m sure millions are also hoping the $35 cap on Insulin doesn’t just stop before they have to pickup their next prescription! \nBottom line: when in our History have we ever faced a more frightening future at the whim of the Dictator in the White House??

I knew an undocumented young woman who was living with her 1 yr old baby and her undocumented husband in NC. He started beating her up really badly so she called the cops. The cops arrested them both, even though he was the clear aggressor. They sent the baby off to cps and cps sent the child back to her extended family in Mexico. She spent 3 years in the county jail, never having access to proper medical care, fresh air & greenery or money for commissary or phone minutes. She was still in the early stages of learning English so she was unable to properly advocate for herself before she made bilingual friends and she couldn’t even read the English books in the county jail. Last I heard, she had finally been transported to a huge ICE detention facility in Georgia, but her case was still in limbo and she still had not seen her daughter 4 years later?\n\nShe was such a sweet young woman and what happened to her was so cruel, inhumane and totally undeserved. People who advocate for mass deportation are asking for millions of more stories just like hers, but with even more violence, since Trump would have to use storm troopers to do raids and papers checks so they can kidnap the 20 million people they want to deport.

Canada relies on immigration for pretty much everything 1) colleges make money 2) landlords make money 3 ) government makes money from more taxes 4) banks make money from more mortgage applications 5) realtors make money . And they know majority of international students goal is to later. Buy a house Punjabi people own more real estate then most people in Canada combined. Canada government just uses the taxes the more people\nCome the more taxes people\nPay . Don’t forget Canada was not a white man land it belongs to the indigenous people . We are all immigrants from somewhere people get scared of what they don’t understand. Every community has their far share of bad apples. As I agree we do need to have a a tighter immigration system it’s not good when there are to many people\nComing from the same country . And the things the new comers do just make the community look bad People that came to Canada -30 years ago have gotten respect know all that went down the drain .?‍♀️

Immigration in Canada is a cycle. My guess is in 5 to 10 years the doors will be wide open again for immigration as the Boomers die off in mass. Housing is an issue because the entry level houses are not being built. I know guys in construction who develop homes and they ALWAYS build upper to high end houses because they are more profitable for the builder. Combine this with many people buying 1 or 2 extra homes and then using them as airBnB (Igor! lol!). But the worst is large hedge funds buying massive amounts of homes for profit. Some estimates say 20% or so of the housing stock is owned by hedge funds atm. In the last 4 years Hedge funds made MASSIVE purchases in real estate as a hedge against inflation. Canada does not exist in a vacuum as the USA has some very similar housing issues. One last thing is people do NOT want home prices to go down. 2/3rds or so of people own a home and the LAST THING they want is for their home value to DECREASE! So you really will not see massive changes to decrease home prices no matter what political party is in power. The majority of voters have a vested interest in high and higher home prices. Making it easier for people to buy a home is probably the best short term solution.

I live in Toronto, and we see issues first hand. 1. Many don't assimulate, nor do they mingle with Canadians. 2. They have so many of the entry level jobs and hire only indian people. 3. Canadians 18- 25 can't get the entey level jobs. 4. Many in school don't work hard with group work as this wasn't the real goal. 5. Many in entey level jobs english skills are limited.\n\nCanadian born of Indian back grounds see it too! No hate. Not working.
