It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

A lot of Canadians who were born here feel the same way about this country turning into South Asia 2.0, but very few are vocal about it, and some are willfully blind to the consequences. I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

I don't see this as a social problem, Canadians are from everywhere, we are not inherently racist because we are voicing the mess Canada is turning into. It's a Political problem. The last governments have quietly opened up immigration without providing infrastructure to support them. Taxpayers dollars have been dolled out for new immigrant's housing and living. This is akin to welfare in that there is no incentive to begin to work and make your own life when the federal government is supporting them with our tax dollars...and first generation Canadians are afraid to speak up for fear of sounding racist. Canadians turning against Indians because they have government preferences, taking over housing and jobs in every type of business. They are changing the face of Canada and forcing us into CanIndia. As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. They have a common heritage and history and this is like a brother turning evil and hurting its siblings. Trump is smart? I don't think so, he comes across as a low IQ individual born with privileges, heck he has been bankrupt what is it four times? Right now he thinks he is making America Great again but instead he is on a path to bankrupt even the US Economy. These kind of things in history often have caused actual physical War and he talks about Zelenski is toying with a 3rd world war. Wouldn't it be funny (and not in a comical sense) if in fact Trump causes the 3rd world war with his actions instead?

In Canada now Canadians are so angry at Indians coming here on fraudulent papers, conducting themselves like savages without any morals or standards. Turning every restaurant they work at into a biohazard public health danger. It's absolutely sick and these new Indians are majorly racist towards white people. Indians are being beat in the streets now on a daily basis. Canadians are starting to fight back and send a message. Do not come to Canada. There is no affordable housing available for anyone.! There are no doctors for the majority of the population now. Hospitals are forced to close. Many people both native Canadians and new immigrants are forced to become homeless because of an overwhelming number of Indians flooding into Canada. There will be a lot of murders over the next few years in Canada. People are desperate and only trying to survive in their own native country.

Indians undermind the efforts of Canadian businesses and work standards. For example, Indians running shipping cans out of Vancouver far cheaper than natural born Canadians. This was a great article and believe we need more on this and to be able to hear from Maxime as well. Canadians are tired of this lax, turn the other cheek when it's costing tax dollars, jobs, housing and creating inflation. It's not racism, it's an actual PROBLEM. Food banks are not turning away Canadians.

The final scene at the new Canadians rally is nice to see. But what you’re not seeing are the THOUSANDS of people who aren’t success stories. People who bring nothing to the party but still need a place to live. I’m fine with immigration, I think Canada is a better place for being diverse. But you can’t just keep the tap on when the glass is already full. We need to turn off the immigration spigot for a while, catch up to get our services and housing to a level that is workable, then look at turning it back on with a smarter outlook on the numbers to bring in.

As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.

Ironically due to the economic conditions and mass immigration, younger Canadians aren’t having children anymore due to it being hard enough to get by without any dependents. I’m in my mid 20s, lots of married friends, none will entertain the idea of kids.\n\nWhat I would prioritize changing:\nA more thorough immigration process that does not favour any country over another. And spread the people out to the smaller communities that need workers instead of turning Toronto into whatever it is. An end to the corporate alliance price fixing on things like insurance, cell phones, and air travel. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. Some smaller Canadian towns I know even lack potable water.\n\nWith the market so bad no one wants to build or buy which is just amplifying the issue.\n\nAnd no carbon tax. I apologize for getting political, but the last 10 years the federal government seems to be more concerned with values and foreign intervention than fiscally responsible decisions. The culture can dictate the values, I just want the government to make the trains run on time.\n\nI hope it gets better soon but I think we are cooked. As an atheist exmuslim who despises orthodox islam and jihadis, I have the ability to separate the regular muslims from the crazy ones. I have always admired Canada's openness and inclusivitiy which I believe is unrivalled in the world. However the hate speech in these comments are troubling. Not all americans are KKK members and not all muslims are jihadis. Let's all oppose the crazy ones together but by preaching hate speech against all Muslim Canadians you are making the situation a lot worse and perhaps turning what is 1% of Muslim Canadians to a higher number.
