Absurd reasoning such as you earn maximum 10,000 rupees or 5000 Rupees salary in India. The problem is the kind of effort and hard work they put in Canada , had they put the same In India they would have been in a much better financial condition. Need not to sell ganne ka juice for $5?, just kidding! \nBy the way I myself stay out of India and I do agree Indian cities need to upgrade quality of living. We can stop migration of youths by improving our cities standard, and yes its going on albeit slowly.

Ya know what if a black man, China man or anybody else didn’t want me in there store no matter the reason I would take my business elsewhere. It’s his store he should have the right to say who can and cannot come into their house. But would make sure it went viral so he lost a lot of business, even if he was my color I wouldn’t put up with it. I don't agree with illegal immigration but if the Canadian system is going to put someone through their court system instead of just throwing them out, then when the refugee loses his case the Canadian gov should at least reimburse them with their lawyer/court costs. So I'm from a town in Ireland with a small hotel, a few years ago the government bought it and moved immigrants in overnight (literally in the middle of the night). It is still run like a hotel with cleaning services and restaurant but the occupants also receive government income. (meanwhile we are seeing an increase in local homelessness every year) Anyways I recently heard a story from someone who works for social services who collected a woman and her few kids from the hotel to drive them down the road to the new four bedroom house they were being given. When they arrived at the house the woman asked what days the cleaner would be over, the person driving said that she wouldn't have a cleaner anymore this was her house so she would be responsible for minding it. The woman put her kids back in the car and demanded they take her straight back to the hotel. So yeah, hotels may not be the greatest immigration solution.

Anyone here remember how much it cost to separate children at the US/Mexican border? Was something ridiculous like $1k a day per person. Literally could put them in a 4-star hotel for that. Pretty good thinking of Trudeau's part to save money and embarrassment on the world stage

Just to let everyone know I actually wish fox was fake news like CNN this is nothing new this has been going on for a few years now I live in toronto Canada and it's pretty much next to impossible to get a room in a motel just last week I had family fly in from bc for my cousins wedding and they could not get a room so they had no choice but to stay with family everywhere they went to try to get a hotel was jammed packed to the gills with migrants and my new next door neighbor told me that he came here and claimed asylum and they instantly put him on government social assistance aka welfare and he said his next move is to get a doctor to fill out paperwork saying he can't work and get disability check all he said he has to do is give the doctor 100$

Come to La La land ... we have a fairy Prime Minister ... he/it/she will wave his/its/her magic wand and you can have whatever you want ... when the hotels are full the generous Canadians will put you up in their homes and feed you for as long as you want.\n\nWhat happened to the Hollywood 'stars' that promised to move to Canada ... have they arrived yet? Funny enough this happened in Australia, we had an detention center that was over flowing with them so the Government actually paid a hotel to put them up wasn't far from my home, they even tried to keep it quiet as they didn't want the public to know.

You cannot simply pick a time out of history and say that you want to go back to the way things were some 70 years ago. But you don't focus on that fact. You focus on the nickels and dimes being spent on accommodation. We get it, you don't like people putting a burden on your system. The USA... wealthiest nation on the earth would prefer to not allow migrants into their county. You could afford to open up your country but are fearful of the financial burden and I have seen some Americans question why these illegals are getting free food and education on our dime. Consider an investment in your future. In 50 years the amount of money spent on these migrants fleeing from desperate situations is a paltry sum Mr Scrooge. BUT if one of those people makes a dramatic difference to your country then think how far ahead you will be. \nThe alternative is to send back the refugees or illegals and wish them well.
