Cool video! I'm from the United States, and I've been to Canada back in May 2001. I was 11 at the time, but it was part of a 3-day trip with my elementary school. We were in Toronto. I miss my experience there so much. Although I'm not a fan of cold weather, I would love to be back in Canada because new healthcare here in the U.S is too hard for me to get. I thought once about immigration to Canada although my economic situation didn’t incentivize me to immigrate. I found myself in a qualified position to immigrate. But when I consulted my wife, she opposed my plan and she’s absolutely right. We’re a middle class family. We have wonderful jobs. Live in our own home and run a small enterprise. Why should we immigrate and start building a new life in a country where the cost of living is insane?!

For example, British Columbia feels like a foreign country compared to not just Quebec (the most obviously different province in Canada) but also compared to Nova Scotia or Manitoba, whereas Washington state or Minnesota is less different than Pennsylvania or Massachusetts.\n\n2) Native Americans (or First Nations, as they're called in Canada) make up a way higher proportion of the Canadian than American population, though less so percentage-wise in Montreal or Toronto or even Quebec City, and they are thus much more in the consciousness of the average Canadian than the average American.
