The president needs to set in stone that they need to go back to thiere home country and start asking for help on the needs of living servival. It's the president here ... In United States that needs to put into action that they need to make sure this will not happy any more. Kids and pet are dying and suffering.greatly ... please do so that will stop them from doing this !!! And get them help in thiere home country. Maybe if DC wouldn't bankrupt their home countries they wouldn't have to flee to survive. \n\nWe owe them at this point. Yes, we OWE them. This is deplorable and it’s going to destroy our country in so many ways. First, our social, educational, and criminal systems cannot absorb this many people all at once. We have enough people immigrating here legally. We don’t need all these illegals flooding over.\nThis is all Joe Biden and the Democrats’ fault, for not doing anything for two-plus years, except inviting these people to come here. These people get benefits, free healthcare, welfare probably, phones, and they shouldn’t. They should be told to go home. They should not be given a court date and then released into the United States! That’s ridiculous. They should be loaded on a C-130 transport, retrofitted with seats and shipped home. The majority of them are not going to show up for their court date. They’re going to disappear into the United States, work under the table, take jobs away from Americans, and send billions of more dollars back to their home country where they have family. I think currently, $250 billion gets sucked out of the US economy every year, due to illegal immigrants all sending $50 each, per month, home to their families in their native country. That money should be being spent here.\nLastly, all these illegals and the “anchor babies” they are going to have here, and the descendants of those babies, are all going to vote Democrat in the future, because of this lawlessness. Then we’ll have one-party rule in this country. That will destroy the country. It’ll be a socialist dictatorship, which is not good. The worst part is, many of these women coming across, are going to have a baby within a year. That baby, who by law is automatically a US citizen, becomes their key to citizenship, because once that baby turns 18, he or she can sponsor his parents to become citizens and also sponsor other family members. It’s not right. That amendment to our Constitution, was meant for descendants of slaves to become citizens, NOT to be used the way it’s being used today.\nAnd if we’re not careful we will all be speaking Spanish in the future.\n\nVOTE REPUBLICAN! I'm homeless, Navy Veteran and work full time. If housing programs can't help homeless Americans, how can we help immigrants. I want a home too. Update: I'll elaborate more on my situation. I served for four years. I lost my job as an Uber driver in 2018 after my car got repossessed. I live with my fiance who has PTSD from her family upbringing. She tries to work but she doesn't last long. We have gone to 3 different housing programs and they prove to be unhelpful. You make too much money from working they can't help you, if you make too little money they can't help you. WTF!!! All housing that is offered is usually in areas that are in high theft and homeless areas. People steal from you and you up right back in the streets. One program helped me become a fully trained security guard. We have also been in two car accidents, none were our fault. But now I'm stuck just living in a car and working full time. After I work all night I drive around at gas stations, asking people for money for gas and food. Every check I get goes to gas, food and bills. We manage our money wisely. Our money last a day and then we have to go straight back to asking for money again. Everyone I have asked for help is always a broken promise. I don't know what to do anymore.

People, you don’t think that all that is because of the policies abroad ? We have the same problem here in England . We do t want them here anymore as we can not afford them, and they need to all go home. It is sad to see, but they need to go back home. It's not going g to stop unless America puts a huge electricity trick fence up.

Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. The same s*** that's taken over these countries is taking over the inner cities have been for decades and these are the same communities that most of these people will end up in. No it's not about not being good Christians part of being a good Christian is reminding people to stand their ground and have faith in Jesus and God and their own home territory and not to give it up to the crime people in the bad politicians. You can't say you believe in God and Jesus Christ and then he's got your back while you're running and that's the truth in the reality that nobody wants to hear the more people run from these countries the more the bad people are able to take over and then we get complaints here in the states about the cost attacks is rightfully so. For those people screaming and shouting that everybody should go out pick up in my grant and bring them home to their house and feed them and take them and I challenge you to do the same thing for homeless before you even do the migrant do homeless American citizens go out and really educate yourself because I'm totally tired of hearing from Americans that the only people that live on the streets are people with mental health problems that need mental health treatment or people that are stoned out and that's where they want to be you guys are so f****** wrong and this is coming from someone that met homeless people spent time around homeless people and understand we have a society that wants to paints a very different picture than what's truly going on because then it allows for hey it's not our problem they want to be there. I mean did you all forget the night they came to take them away they were asleep in an Open Garden it wasn't like they popped up tents or glamper camper sites had some little Adobe type cabins they were sleeping in. As a matter of fact if you pay attention to most of the stories about Jesus and talking about him sleeping he does a lot of sleeping Outdoors. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. Don't you get it the politicians don't want people knowing that a lot of the people that are homeless on the street are people that are disabled and aren't disabled because they have mental health problems I know that's the narrative they've been trying to stuff down people's throats.

We're polite and nice until we're taken advantage of or treated like an idiot! Kindness is important, but doing what's morally right is more important to me personally! So if that means me speaking up or calling out bs when I see it, I will! I do believe in giving each person their own clean slate. I adjust according to the person! That just means I don't assume anything about a person based on race, the job they have, the car they drive, how they look, the clothes they wear. Those things have no bearing on how I choose friends! It's all about the content of one's character! I do keep to myself most of the time but strive to be kind and polite when I'm around others! But everyone is different. You will run into aholes anywhere you go! Canada is NO EXCEPTION. You have to be careful still about how you move. For example as an indigenous woman I don't go out alone after dark. You can't just trust anyone and leave yourself vulnerable because you never known what someone's intentions are. You can find people that are so unkind. You can also find some of the nicest people in the world here. I imagine the same can be said about any country. Our government certainly doesn't represent us personally. We all have our own personalities and lives! And I don't judge others based on their race religion or their government at home! When I was a kid there was no shortage of people letting me know I'd never amount to anything. So yeah you can find aholes anywhere you go! Please don't leave yourself vulnerable and assume everyone here has good intentions! Especially if you travel alone! We still have a lot of issues you probably never heard of! You have to be careful anywhere you go! ❤

Tell me is this what you are wanting from our government? White powerful men murdered, stole land, inflicted disease and forced them onto reserves. They kidnapped their children and forced them to go to residential schools. Many Indigenous children never went back home and parents weren't informed if they died. The survivors that returned home have PTSD which still affects their families and community. Treaties are not honoured and they are the most disrespect people in Canada. We see the homes some live in and we wouldn't allow our pets to live there and some don't have clean water to this day. Our government has provided some relief; however, it is a trickle of the help and support they deserve. Many Canadians deem them as drunks, drugged and/or lazy. If we had and have to live like that we would be the same. The government whitewashed our history and don't teach true history. If you knew their true history you would be amazed at how strong many are and they continue to fight with not a lot of support from the rest of us.\n\nSo, tell me is this the help you want from our government?

Here I agree we need to close the borders and I hope everybody understands that these people are not a Mexican ,They are Venezuelan from a different country. They can’t just come into our country illegally. I have mixed feelings about this. I feel like a total first letter of the alphabet-hole for not thinking of helping right away. When I lived in San Diego, it was a palpable daily reminder. Lots of people have cross-border lives. Family, work, home is on either side of the border. Now living up in Washington State, it's different. Here the border with Canada is all about preventing Canadians from stealing technology from us while allowing them to work for us. Some partners who come visit us often times get searched for technology. Like pen drives, samples, etc. It's a totally different story. Canada probably has less homeless than all of south America. It's an easy claim because literally, if you can't insulate your self in winter you go visit the great gardener Jesus and his weirdo multipersonality disorder. In south America, you just need to eat and not get eaten by things. So the result is that people survive way below the poverty line. Then, the big lie tells them that the US is better so they come over to eventually learn how the others found the three headed gardener the hard way. I feel like maybe if they got a tour of the country and learned how shitty it is to live here too, they might think twice about coming over. There are periods and ways when the US opens it's borders but it's looking like a real shit show right now. We don't have enough jobs and not enough houses to house everyone. At least in south America you can live in the family house and no one bats an eye. People help each other in poverty.

It's interesting that these ladies feel free to say that they feel more comfortable in their own culture. And that sometimes their own community in Canada is not enough, and they want to go home for a while to be with their own culture more fully. As a white person I don't have the freedom to say that without being called a racist or a white supremacist.

Well Canada is a great country, my grand parents were able to get here in 1957 with their 3 kids, after going through and surviving WWII, work in Europe was scarce and employers were abusing their workers everywhere. My dad was one of those 3 children's, he met my mother here, they had me and my sister. Today i have 3 boys of my own and my sister has 2 girls. Canada has any country as their plusses and minuses, but i wouldn't live anywhere else. I've lived my whole life on the south shore of Montréal, worked in and around Montréal for 35 years. Never ran out of work as long as i was willing and able to work. I've worked in all my life, 65% immigrants and 35% Québecer's. There both are kinda racists in some way and they have there own reasons as well. I was bullied in school till i was 11 years old, i had an accent and dressed differently since my dad made our clothing. Being ridiculed, pushed, punched etc, and then one day the bully of the school approached me and wanted to fight me. I was scared, everyone else were laughing, so i clenched my fist and punched that kid right on the nose. Everyone got quiet and the principal came out, we went to his office and then he asked me straight away : Are you gonna do this again or was it a one time thing ?? I said it will be one time thing unless someone else wants to fight me again, then i will have to defend myself again. He said ok and now go back to class, and that was that. But in the 1970's with the augmentation of people moving here after WWII, people in Canada were scared immigrants would steal their jobs etc. My grand father worked all his life till he died at 82 years old. Worked 6 days a week, 12 to 16 hours a day. My dad had worked all his life 70 hours a week and sometimes 85 hours a week. People complaining about doctors or hospitals, a lot are going in for a cold, the flu, headaches etc, for sure take 2 aspirin or tylenol and stay home, no need to see a doctor for that. If you have a broken limb or were in an accident, you go right in and get fixed up without issue really. Any country as it's inconveniences in the end ?

The number 1 reason not to go to Canada is that after a person spends their whole life paying off their home, in case of death the goverment is charging 25 % of the worth of the house. \nFor example: if you own a business and if you sponsor some gay or transgender group you have tax deduction, but if you leave something to your own kids they have to pay 25 % or a quarter of the value of the home they inherit or accept as a gift. To each his own because i have had horrible experiences in Canada. During covid lock down , i went to visit my sister and missed my flight twice because of difficulties with getting a covid test. There was a whole long line just to get a damn test. Here in America there's a CVS everywhere. \nI also did not like the food there too much. After buying food from a local restaurant i knew my home cooked food would have turned out better. \n My sister gave birth and bought a sofa around the time she just put to birth. The guy doing the delivery left the couch at the door after i begged him to help us as my sister just had a c-section and could not lift heavy stuff-he refused and i was just shocked. In America people would gladly help if you needed help.\nLast month i sent my sister a Christmas gift through UPS and when it arrived Canada, they returned it to me after i paid to clear it at customs.\nI would never want to go to Canada again.

I am an American born in NY, raised in VA. I also lived in Van Nuys for a year, also lived in Texas before my job industry moved me to Canada. \ni have been in Canada for 7yrs, been to Vancouver, Toronto and MTL and to be honest i like a lot of things in Canada like the health care differences and of course the lower insulin cost for my husband but i still want to go back home. If anything i would stay in Toronto because it's the closest similarity to home but where Aba and Preach live, in Montreal, it's literally been my nightmare. I feel like the tap water at least in my area has gotten worse over time. \nOne thing i feel like they didn't mention that I have to tell people from America to watch out for is the credit card vs debit card thing. \nI grew up only having debit cards because i didn't want to get into debt. when i came to Canada i continued getting a debit card and realized the hard way that not everything accepts debit cards and you NEED to also have a credit card to access certain things.\nbut overall i do feel much safer in Canada even though the crazy trump lovers are showing up here and there it's significantly less than i see when I'm back home.

Sounds like you're a immigrant yourself, there is like no racism at all, it's more like if you're a immigrant or your someone of a different culture you associate people having a problem with how you're doing things as if it's to do with your race and not your culture. When you relocate to a new country you are supposed to adopt the new culture. A Canadian finds it insulting for immigrants to come to a country and not try to integrate and be part of it. It's ignorant to come to another country and not respect their way and how they do things. Whether you like it or not there is a Canadian way and you need to do it when you come here. You do not come here and act like you do in your country you came from it's not the same thing. You definitely don't come to Canada and preach that there's racism it's not in our vocabulary you need to get it through your head. As well stereotypes will be created because there are stereotypes with certain races that come to a country thinking they continue acting as they do in their country in the new country they move to. This is why Canada wants all the immigrants to come work here so they can drain all their income in taxes to pay for all the old people draining the system. Canada is not fun. Least fun because of all the rules on everything. Taxes and fees on everything. There used to be much more fun and things were much more relaxed in the 70's and 80's but now it has changed so much that I'm starting to hate my own Country, my province and the Canadian leadership at this time is the worst in history. And get this: I'm so poor I couldn't even afford to move around or travel in my own damned country! We don't even have a universal transit bus system to travel anymore. YOu have to have a car or fly but be damned if you can hop the old Greyhound and go from Vancouver to Toronto anymore and save a few bucks. It's sick and dysfunctional here.

Each Province has its own universal healthcare which is funded - NOT BY TAXES - by a premium paid similar to regular insurance (except there isn't anyone skimming profits off the top). For example - the Ontario Heath Insurance Plan - OHIP. As a pensioner, my OHIP premium in 2014 was $98 per year. In the US I pay 12 x 167 = 2004 - over 20 times the amount AND I have to pay the first $4,000 of cost myself. Yes, you have to WAIT after moving to Canada before you get full coverage. As a Canadian, if I came back to Canada I would have to wait 6 months before my health insurance kicks in. BUT if this were not the case sick people from all over the planet would flock to Canada for free medicine. As for the Doctor shortage that is CREATED by the Canadian Medical Association limiting the positions available in Med schools. Nobody loses their house and goes bankrupt in Canada because a family member gets sick compared to about 700, 000 Americans per year who suffer that fate. AND no children die in Canada because their parents didn't have Healthcare. As for immediacy of service - it depends on how serious the medical problem is. Few, if any, people die in Canada because they were seriously ill and were told to go home and take Advil.

I don't get why people are so shocked we have homelessness in Canada, I guess people from other poorer countries overlook this part. Homelessness has been around for many decades now. Money doesn't grow on trees, you have to earn it my dear. I have lived in 2 cities and never had a hard time finding a doctor. My parent's immigrated here legally and they came from small mountain villages. They learned the language (not easy) they worked hard, and they never had to go on assistance. They bought their home paid it off had 3 kids and lived their life and never complained, maybe its because they came from a different generation. You have to look at the big picture.

There's a housing crisis Everywhere for renters coming into the market and first time home buyers. They needs to be more co-ops. I know of huge amounts of seniors living alone that have no place to go and choose to stay in their big homes because there's no other option for them, and if there was they'd prob refuse to go anyway. My mother is one she's 88. We've been trying for 2+yrs. Anything that suddenly opens up she refuses. Lives in a small city in southern BC. More Co-op's are needed.

I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

Well, I guess that most families from Asian counties live together and share space so they will be able to afford homes. I guess that we should educate Canadians that they should not expect to be able to afford rent or owning a home unless you stay with your family and all live together. See, problem solved. Change your expectations and way of life to accommodate a government that prefers to have expansion and growth at all costs instead of fixing our current problems. They have created so much debt and continue to so they need more bodies to tax in order to pay the debt so that they can take on more debt... and they want it from citizens because they can't get it from corporations and their record profits because the corporations bribe them... sorry, lobby them with 100s of millions of dollars.\n\nSo emigration is obviously the solution. You need 9 people living in a 3 br house all working for minimum wage in order to afford it.. and that seems to be the jobs that are available? If you are educated and have skills I'm not sure that those jobs are out there? Or they are for a while, then gas prices go down and the corporations fire everyone and then things change and then they complain that they can't find anyone while paying less than they did before they fired everyone... But remember, corporations create jobs so we shouldn't tax them.

Those 500,000 immigrants are going to be ultra disappointed when they find out after about one year that they would have been better off staying in their home country. Word on the street is a large chunk of these people move back home after only a short while because they realize that 40% of their Canadian paychecks will be eroded due to taxes and deductions, and then another 5-12% taxed when they go to the grocery store to spend their already taxed money.

The USA is getting a lot of people from Africa and South and Central America, and I imagine many will go back because Americans do have to work hard and if you come from a country that has warm weather year-round it is going to be a huge shock. Things are also changing like the American lifestyle. It is going to be different. To bad the new immigrants have not done their homework about where they want to live before dropping everything and leaving their home country.

Ya, not here! Everything is monopolized! Same stores everywhere you go. there's a mall in Toronto called Vaughn Mills mall, when I was in Calgary they have an exact replica just a different name. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. There needs to be more indoor things for people to do in the winter. \n\nWhoever said Canadians are polite, has never been to Alberta!!!! And because they're not involved the children have no respect for their elders or teachers. the teachers don't care to get involved like they used to because everything's a liability...a problem. We had a 13 year old girl call a male teacher a pedophile for pushing a little girl on the swing. He quit on the spot, because now he's worried for his career. I did not listen to the entire video but sharing my story.\n\nI came to Toronto Canada it's been 22 years and I will leave here and die here despite its expensive to live but people stay where they belong, where their soul is at peace and where there is their happiness.\n\nI moved here with my abusive husband at that time. Back home as divorce was taboo, I would have remained married n suffer. He moved on and left me and my child of 5 years old on the street but thanks to Canada, no one judged me, no one talked about me. I did not ask or took any help cause I worked 2 jobs for few years to make ends meet. With time things got better, now my child has graduated and working.\nHe worked n paid for his studies.\nI have not been discriminated or faced racism despite I come from African continent and of colour but my son has as he was young but he learnt from it.\nCanada gave me my freedom, my peace, my happiness and I am no longer discrimated by my own religion, culture and people who thinks if you are lighter you are prettier.\nWomen were and are still considered secondary compared to men.\nHere we are equal.\nHere they love and respect me for who I am and not based on looks.\nBack home my c-section was f up and I am still paying the consequences. After an accident, I had to go through a leg surgery. Back home hospital lost my file and made me wait for years.\nHere I was handled with love and care when the hospital staff learnt that I have no family here. This is the reason why most Asian that come from the upper middle income and high-income countries only came to Canada for citizenship. After that, they go back to their countries to work and live. Especially those that retired. My parent and their friends already bought the property back home, and with the retirement fun they receive here, they have a really good life back home. They are even able to afford their maids. I just feel sorry for the senior that retired here in Canada.

All of things that you mentioned are true and all of them have drastically changed in the past 4 to 10 years with increased immigration. Smaller communities have had prices go up to 3 to 4 times what they were 6 years ago. Growing up here, prices were much lower - there was so much to do - cultural community activities were so much fun. Many Canadians can't go back to their home communities now because the prices have gone up so much. Many Canadians also want to be with their family and friends and not in a home - and do. We travelled all over North America when I was a child, and it was much easier to do then. In summary, I think that many of these things are very recent changes.
